The issue with Henson now is that they keeps trying to reinvent the wheel too hard. Whenever Jim would come up with something new and unique, it still felt based in his puppetry and imagination. Now all the Muppets Do is rip off other show formats, or gut good concepts like Happy Time Murders.

Whitmire getting fired was proof that they’re no longer about performing.
