What?? People liked the second movie?? It wasn't even about kung fu! It ruins the theme of the franchise when the villain is fighting with canons, don't you think? At least in 3 it kinda went back into it's roots, since chi attacks are often associated with martial arts.

It's because of classic Dreamworks shit. They make unnecessary and underwhelming sequels, shit out Nickelodeon cartoons and Netflix holiday specials left and right and try feed off the brand recognition the first two films garnered for the sole purpose of making as much money as possible. People get tired of it and move on when the next new money printer comes along because the execs see the films under performing only to leave the series ultimately die. Should of stopped after 1 and 2 and Secrets of the scroll and masters
