I used to respect Kevin a lot. I love his films like Clerks, Dogma and even Chasing Amy despite what people say, I used to think he could make a lot of films that combined dumb teen humour with dialogue that can be thought provoking at times.
But I'm done with it, the man doesn't have any creativity by this point. His podcasts are uninteresting and a.chore to listen to (tried hearing the one he does with Jason, only for all of the casts be about Jay commenting he's clean and Kev saying he either cried or smoked a joint), his latest flicks are all shit (even Tusk which had a strong 1st arc falls apart once the actual walrus appears and it's the cheapest looking thing that breaks the film's immersion) with all of them being inside jokes or intentionally schlocky (but not charming like what you expect from something like Toxic Avenger or Evil Dead, it's just him doing something low-budget and instead of using said low-budget to offer a high quality experience he just uses it as an excuse for camp; and let's not forget how his comics have no flow whatsoever, sometimes disregarding the characters for the sake of humour, doesn't help that Kevin's idea of comics is capeshit, I doubt the man even takes a glance at manga or eurocomics
