I think The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie and Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse sucked.
Liked Man of Steel, Justice League and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
I think The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie and Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse sucked.

Never saw lego movie. Lego Batman was surprisingly good for me and I quite liked Spiderverse
I also liked Aquaman if that makes you feel any better
>I think Wall-E is severely overrated. EVE being a cute robutt is the only part I kinda like
Your first point sucks ass but your second is fine. There hasnt been a DCEU movie I didnt like. Aquaman is my favourite and I think Justice League is severely underrated.
Those aren't sins. Those might as well be unpopular opinions.
I draw loli.
Can you explain why?
I think Up (2009 film) is overrated.
I actively bump my own Storytime threads every hour so that late showing readers can check out said Storytime
Are they cute or unf?
There's no need to confess to having good taste, op.
Wow, that's like maximum shit taste.
I hated spider verse for being mostly a miles movie since I don’t care for his character and was only interested in the other spiderverse characters that were largely ignored throughout the movie, Disney has only made a few good movies in their entire history and the bad far outweighs the good they have brought, I still think anyone who likes reboot she ra is a tumblr fag who needs to be thrown out of here and the shill threads for it should be purged on sight.
Yes. Also, jailbait in the 14-16 year range, and have done so since I was also that age.
Into the Spider-verse was good but also definitely overrated. Aesthetically, the movie was amazing and I loved what it did for the medium, including blending together comic book techniques with animation, but the writing and story, while good, didn't exactly blow me away either.
The first 15 minutes were better than the rest of the movie, easily. Also, Pixar movies in general really aren't as good as they used to be and Disney movies in general are massively overrated and aren't really good either.
Sure: all those three movies that i felt sucked had forced or ineffective attempts of humor and unmoving "sad scenes", the characters were mostly unlikeable.
Maybe, the fact that all of them were critically praised, i watched them with high expectations, which weren't met.
Aquaman was fucking fantastic. I feel like Shazam will be even better. I'm unsure about the Joker movie.
In 2010 I felt fascinated by the new direction cartoons were heading in, and was excited for the future.
In 2015 I became alienated and distant from the current state of cartoons, and with each passing year I feel like the entire industry is rapidly leaving me behind...
Not either of the anons you replied to but I fucking loved Aquaman and I've hated most DCEU movies so far. Shazam looks great as well. I probably won't see the Joker though. Sick and tired of that fucker.
Are you me? I feel so embittered and hateful of this future because of all the promise and hope I had during that time, especially for animation.
Lego Batman sucked. The humor is repetitive and poorly timed.
Clarifying: I had just discovered Yea Forums, and the corruption began. It started slow with the memes, then came the fapping. When Yea Forums emerged, I was recovering from weeabooism, and W.I.T.C.H. serves as a substitute. Then I started drawing them.
Heh, i finished the novel on the same type of thread before...
Any of the interested anons are still alive?
Fuck off memeposter
Are you Russian?
What?
Nothing in the entirety of Marvel productions will be better than a majority of DC animated stuff.
I hate watching the double standard of wanting to address mature subjects in children's cartoons, and then refusing to talk about the 'uncomfortable parts' and give a cop out 'friendship is magic' solution.
I haven't watched any new cartoons or movies in almost a year.
Not even a "I'd rather shitpost on Yea Forums" kinda thing, and I have plenty of time, I'd just rather draw all day and sometimes play vidya.
>Constantine is one of the best comic book movies ever and I'm still waiting for a sequel.
>Batman Begins is retarded.
>BvS is better than any Nolan Batman movie and 95% of the MCU. Batman and Superman usually are uninteresting characters but Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder shaked them really good.
>Batfleck is the best Batman.
>The Incredible Hulk is one of the best MCU movies.
>MCU peaked with the first Avengers and went on a downhill after that. Today they are just a bunch of ugly, repetitive cashcows that are damaging cinema.
>Amazing Spider-Man 2 is surprisingly good and a huge improvement over the first one.
I stopped reading comicbooks. Overall I've grown to realize I don't really like them for their stories or entertainment value, but rather that I read them so I could be in the know with other nerds or geeks.
I've done much the same with live action TV. I find Daredevil and shows like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones too drawn out and boring.
See this: and every response below that comment.
I expected nothing from the Lego movie so it was much above my expectations, but I really like him now.
So when are you gonna post it?
I have no idea what homestuck is and Im too afraid to ask at this point. I only know that it has cringe fandom that wears weird cosplays
I tell lies on the internet
Regular Show pissed me off and Adventure Time just made me sad. I realized that the freedom that allowed stranger, more experimental cartoons to get on TV also meant that there were fewer limiters on artists and writers running their shows into a ditch.
Yeah. It's kind of messed up that the most mature
tv cartoon I've been watching lately is from 1983. Mysterious Cities of Gold. People die in almost every episode. Children are threatened with torture and death. Almost every character, apart from the main one is racist in some way. It's the only cartoon I can recall where a grown man calls a 12-year-old boy a "white devil".
And there's no ironic detachment. Not a drop of it. It's all sincere.
>friendship is magic
Friendship is a major theme in the show. But it's more like, friendship will give you the resolve to blow this entire ship up with a hundred conquistadors on board.
I would say they don't make cartoons like that anymore, but they hardly ever did in the first place. I wish I had a chance to work on something like that.
I literally only have two items in my LCS's pullbox and I'm even letting one of them just sit there (I know, bad form. But it's a tabletop game magazine that I get for the art, I don't have anyone to play dnd or whatever with.)
I think that's fine, considering it's a storytime.
Thank you user, I'm new to comics so I rely on Yea Forums for good stories
>confessing to Wojakshit
No way fag, Father Hulk is /ourpriest/
Adventure Time got progressively better as it went on.
The first 2 seasons are really generic "episode of the week" with Finn and Jake doing lolsorandom bullshit with the blandest attempt at humor ever.
After season 2 the writers started developing the characters and exploring more experimental, mature themes.
>I feel like the entire industry is rapidly leaving me behind...
>leaving me behind
Maybe because you aren't 10 yo anymore
Tell me your puny sins
I haven't been 10 in over 20 years.
Yes, you aren't the target audience.
Avatar The Last Airbender is generic.
I wasn't the target audience in 2010 either. Do I have to diagram this out for you?
I hate Supergirl in the new DCSHG cartoon because she reminds me of Rainbow Trash
>had forced or ineffective attempts of humor and unmoving "sad scenes", the characters were mostly unlikeable.
but you didn't think that about Justice League and Batman v. Superman??
Not him but BvS had interesting characters and good dry humor.
I get really upset when I see black characters like miles get shat out and not even have their own personalities, while characters like vixen, and static, so on and so fourth don't get much at all, my biggest sin is that I havent even been reading comics that long so I'm basically getting upset that I haven't read the logs of these characters I've only heard about recently/a long time ago, and some characters I don't even know about because I was too lazy to do the leg work to find out about
on another note, of me being a massive retard, I've never read a black panther
I just hope That I can be washed clean of being a faggot, I can atleast say that I've kept my bullshit to myself
>confessing for good taste
To be honest:
I never completely saw ATLA & TLOK, except for some episodes I found when I was a kid on TV.
But still, years later; when I discovered Yea Forums that you spoke here more often of both cartoons... I could know more loose information about both plot, realizing that the topic of spiritualism and mysticism was never an interest for me, but the characters and the world were interesting.
And brown skin girls are always my main taste
>Inb4 "i saw this comment before"
Yes, i'm the same spaniard novelist fag, and i gonna upload that novel soon in this thread
Undeserved trips
I believe Young Justice is one of the weakest DC shows.
Big Hero 6 is my favorite film. I wrote a twelve thousand word essay on why I love it.
I'm thirty three thousand words into a fantasy romance novel that was once a Lord of the Rings fanfiction story
I've gotten into shows for the shipping and have written fics for shows I haven't seen
I unironically think BvS is an awesome movie for really personal/subjective reasons
I love every MCU movie except Iron Man 2, 3, Captain Marvel and Black Panther. I fear I will burst into tears when Cap dies in Endgame.
I was sexually abused by my dad until I was 16 so even looking at a cropped photo of rule 34 causes me genuine distress, especially if it's of characters I know/like
I'm a massive waifufag
I still respect your honor, son.
I enjoyed the live action Green Lantern film and is what got me interested in the character and comics
I think a darker Jon would be pretty cool but only if it's something that happens over time. Perhaps because I'm a sucker of brake the cutie moments.
Tomasi was the first Superman writer that I got into, I used to follow New 52 loosely but wasn't fond of it.
I want DC to make Jon gay because I think it'll be something different from the other Superboys. That and I'm a dirty fujo who wants to see Jon with an unrequited crush on Damian.
Phineas and Ferb was/is overrated tripe, and the same goes for Milo Murphy's Law.
I actually liked Problem Solverz, if only for how bizarre it was.
Hey Arnold! was OK. JUST ok.
I consider myself a huge DC fan but haven't really kept up with it in years. I started to fall off a bit with the nu52. Last time I was reading new issues was Rebirth. I have no real idea what the hell is really going on now but none of it sounds any good, aside from Morrison's GL.
There is absolutely nothing at all wrong with LGBT characters in cartoons. In fact, its a positive.
The only negative thing about it is its all lesbians and super safe option is being celebrated every time. Im happy to see it but holy shit bring some gay men in. at this point its a statement.
The MCU is killing film as an artform as we know it
Jodie Foster was right when she compared it to cinematic fracking
I'm a cartoonfag turned comicfag turned back into a cartoonfag. I don't read the Big 2 anymore but I'll read the occasional indie work.

Or maybe because the industry is collapsing from bad practices
>muh target audience
Kill yourself
I am an unironic console warrior.
DC is better than marvelbecause they fully embrace that they are a comic publisher and arent afraid to have big bombastic characters and storylines. A realistic and flawed superhero is a stupid concept and realistic comics are retarded. Some of the best books in the past 30-40 years have been published by DC comicsI think they also have better artists and writers working for them.
WOJAKS ARE AGAINST THE RULES
MODS FUCK YOU
Dr manhattan most likely created the new 52 and rebirth universes

Just because you dont like a particular comic or cartoon, doesnt make it "sjw"
Just because a comic or cartoon has a minority in it doesnt make it sjw.
No they aren't, you giant weeping pussy.
YES THEY ARE. POSTING THAT STUPID FUCKING BALD MAN OR THAT STUPID FUCKING NAZI FROG WILL GET YOU 3 DAYS ON ANY OTHER BOARD EXCEPT THIS PIECE OF SHIT IMAGEBOARD.
GO LOOK AT /TG/ AND YOU WILL LITERALLY SEE A MOD TELLING EVERYONE THAT THIS LAZY FUCKING MADE IN PAINT IN 30 SECONDS TRIPE CONTENT IS NOT WELCOME HERE. IT'S FUCKING LAZY REPETITIVE GARBAGE THAT WATERS DOWN THE CULTURE BECAUSE IT TAKES ZERO FUCKING EFFORT TO EDIT AND SHIT OUT ONTO THE INTERNET.

Newfag. Where do you think that shit originates?
[Spoiler]I don't know why but I want ROM lewds so much.
So what counts as shilling? Do you have to put down other films of simply say any Disney movie is the best? How good of a compliment should it be?
>WHERE DO U TINK WE ARE
>WHURR DUUU YUHH DUHHH DAAAHHH DAAAAHHHHH
SHUT THE FUCK UP. NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU THINK. YOU'RE A TOXIC PHONEPOSTING ZOOMER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. YOU'VE WILLINGLY LET THIS CRAP RUIN THE BOARD BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO FUCKING STUPID TO REALIZE HOW DAMAGING IT IS.

I’m impressed. Good luck, bro. Just make sure ya change enough that it’s not too obvious in the final product.
I only come here to shill my art and my webcomic
I think you sound nice.
I think Fantasia is just okay. Watching all of it in one sitting just makes the concept get old quick, you know? Might try watching it as individual shorts next time because on an artistic level it’s well done.
Whatever you say, son. If you knew a goddamned thing you would've known Pepe is not a fucking Nazi, so congratulations! You played yourself, and revealed that you've been here 1-3 years maximum.
They want me to praise the latest films that are coming out or about to come out.
Old films won't do.
I think Grant Morrison is a garbage writer. He relies way too much on meta-commentary and esoteric bullshit instead of telling a coherent story with strong characters. He only got worse when he started swilling the DC Kool-Aid.
Based on online activity MML seems like an obscure show desu.
post them
I love the DCEU and I'm not some coward that's only going to admit it in a confession thread.
Same, the only film I truly disliked was Suicide Squad but I'm excited to see what Gunn is gonna do with it.
Suicide Squad got fucked up hard in post production. Much like Justice League
I kinda agree with this
I contributed to the Yea Forums boys thread
The MCU started off great but these days it's nothing but factory produced trash that does the same shit over and over again, all the while being praised as the best thing ever.
>Big Hero 6 is my favorite film. I wrote a twelve thousand word essay on why I love it.
My opinion, as its always been, is that BH6 is a great, "Boy and his Bot" film, and a bad superhero film. It felt like the creators were almost compelled to add superhero stuff to the story.
I would have cut the superhero stuff out completely, but I guess it wouldn't have been Big Hero Six anymore then.
I agree with this while still thinking most of the MCU films are of decent quality.
The superhero stuff was super tacked on, but it gave us Gogo in a skintight suit so I can't complain
Gogo was utterly forgettable.
The only characters from the friend group that had well-defined personalities were the Stoner Dude and Honey Lemon.
I guess her butt was nice though...
I only got into Homestuck because of all the porn.
i think waifu threads are the most comfy threads on Yea Forums
people that expect continuity and lore in a fucking animated children's show are the cancer killing cartoons
You are completely correct
I unironically like Spider-Man 3, The Incredible Hulk, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Elektra, The Last Jedi and Age of Extinction.
I think The Dark Knight Returns, All-Star Superman, Watchmen (the comic) and most of the MCU are extremely overrated.
I unironically liked the 10-issue A-Force series from a few years back, Flashpoint and most of IDW's Transformers series.
I don't really like cartoons. The only ones I still enjoy are old Simpsons episodes, Transformers Prime and The Clone Wars.
pls no bulli
liking Spider-Man 3
You’re not alone. It’s got flaws, but there’s a solid foundation somewhere in there.
I tell lies on the internet. I also say things that hurt peoples' feelings on purpose. I'm also single-handedly responsible for turning /trek/ from a once-respected general into an autistic shithole.
This
Chuck Jones' style works great for his own original stuff, but his fucking cheeks looked terrible on Looney Tunes characters.
Look at this shit
Liking Last Jedi
You truly are a based one. It was good overall and made actually really like a new character
>Unironically worst opinion I've read yet
I like Chuck Jones. I HATE Chuck Jones' Tom and Jerry shorts.
I have only read a few comics The majority being Bionicle.
I think that cartoons have stagnated in the last ten years and the only animated media worth watching are films and anime.
[Spoiler]Ant Man and the Wasp, The Incredible Hulk, and Spider-Man 3 are legit great films, and even the others aren't that bad
I have nothing to confess because I've done nothing wrong.
I genuinely like cartoons and comics, even if they're considered bad.
What's important to me the most is that I overall enjoy what I'm reading/watching/playing. I tend to look at reviews after I've experienced something, just so I can get a better understanding of the material, but my priority is whether or not I enjoy it.
Maybe that makes me a weird or a flake, so be it. What I care about the most is enjoying the things that make me happy, and I hope you all can do the same.
I find Chuck Jones' later work pretentious.
Sometimes I accidentally post cartoon porn because that’s what 90% of the images on my phone are and I delete the post before jannies notice
Also I touch myself sometimes as I’m talking to other anons here
The only consistently good material for Star Wars is based on the prequel era
The OT movies are overrated, Star Wars was a great film but empire was a sluggish bore, ROTJ is only great for the jabbas palace scenes while the rest of the movie is at times very stupid.
Most are very old and terrible. Only in the last four years have I actually improved in any substantial way, and I haven't drawn W.I.T.C.H. in a long time. Just some SU stuff and well... Lolirock has cute designs so I'll be doing that.
Pic related, done for a thread recently.
DC fanboy, been reading since I was a kid, basically devoured all of DC's catalogue throughout the years.
I'm honestly not bothered by whatever they do to Wally West/Roy Harper/Ted Kord/Kyle Rayner now. The continuity has been rewritten so many times that I just don't see the Wally of HoI as THE Wally. It's just another version. And honestly, do I want to see Wally living in a new continuity without his wife and kids and relegated back to his less-than-Barry status? Do I want to keep Ted living on as a Schrodinger's-superhero? Not really. I'd prefer you just move on and commit to what you've done. Don't half-ass it with second guessed plotlines.
I just assumed this is what we all did?
Problem is I’m too frequent about it. I’d say it happens around once a month or every other month.
its almost always SU or Jenny porn too
Nah.
I have TLOK porn in my folder & consider Korrasami
That's probably true of all anthology films.
I'm kind of an SJW
Why haven’t you killled yourself yet
are you he?
>Suicide Squad got fucked up hard in post production. Much like Justice League
>People actually believe this
They were terrible movies before it, post-production just made it worse somehow like trying to clean a mess by making an even bigger mess.
