Boondocks would have been better if you weren't forced to wait multiple years in between seasons. That's what killed the show. Same thing killed Venture Bros., and Venture Bros. had the gall to try to have an ongoing storyline across multiple seasons.

This. I stopped caring about venture Bros because of the long wait.
And now they have a villain who, instead of funy and original dialogue, quotes Liam Neson from Taken and that's meant to be evocative of the humor from the early seasons? No thank you

IMO Venture Bros. died when 24 did. The banter between 21 and 24 was arguably the best thing about the show.

Damn I love both of these shows for completely different reasons.

No it's not.

I'm gonna come off as Kafkaesque and say, this show to me what adult swim embodied for me. A small town artist trying to make it, down to earth characters, small bits of humor mixed in with real world issues. For as short lived as it was, this is what Adult Swim was for me growing up.
