For all the hubbub about "Hurr durr she should smile more, why isn't she smiling in the trailers?" Brie actually has a cute smile and a cute laugh in the movie. Her problems emoting actually ended up being more the intense and anguished scenes, like when she said "I don't even know who I am!" after the flashback where she found out about what really happened in the crash. She didn't really sell that pain and anger very well.

I didn't get the point of her "clearing" Fury at the bar. It's not like she'd know anything about Fury's life, just like he has no idea if Skrulls are capable of shooting light from their hands. It didn't fix the immediate problem, though it would have established a baseline understanding for later shapeshifter shenanigans.
Most of my other problems I've explained away in my head. This one I'm sitting on with confusion.
