The whole fucking season got derailed when Trump won the election, it was probably the biggest blunder we've ever seen Matt and Trey make.
They deserve it for not having 2 plans. I don't care if they thought Trump winning was beyond possible, if you're basing your show's season that has to be made in such a short timespan per episode on current events you have to play it safe. It's simple.
I hope they had fun working overtime that night to fix up the episode,
I'm surprised they didn't realize it sooner since they always pay attention to mainstream culture as its happening to put it into an episode. People act like Trump winning was unforeseen but if you had been paying attention to what was going on at the time, the signs were there that a large portion of the country were rooting for him.
I don't recall.
>the signs were there that a large portion of the country were rooting for him.
He lost the popular vote by 3+ million. People foolishly thought that mattered.
He lost overwhelmingly in the places everyone thought he was going to lose, hence the huge gap in the popular vote. But he won states Hilary didn't even campaign in because she was so sure they would stay blue.
3 million is slightly less than the population of illegal immigrants in the greater Los Angeles area, all of which could vote.
they forgot
They were all too busy taking a siesta.
Member Berries have control of the President. Season ends.
go away /pol/
Can non-citizens vote in federal elections in America? They can only vote in local elections here.
of course not, he's just being a shitter
you just give them drivers license and ban
You mean there's a semi-produced storyline featuring a "didn't win" arc shelved somewhere in the studio?
they can't, you fucking delusional stupid cunt
>you have to play it safe.
It's that kind of pussy faggot attitude that keeps you from ever making anything as relevant as South Park.
God I hate college kids like you.
The only requirement to vote in cali is a legal driver's license. Cali snuck in a law a few years back to allow illegals to register for a license. Do the math you ignorant snake.
I said Trump would win he announced he was running, because it was the funniest possible outcome of the election. How these comedy veterans didn't have the same ping on their radar is still baffling to this day.
Not technically, but there was an independent study that revealed about 640k votes affected some of the 2008 elections from illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants could already vote in local elections in places willing, and a lot (not as in most, but as in a sizeable number) are indeed given a vote in blue states if they think they'll need the extra numbers. It should be considered conspiracy/treason, but only conspiritards think illegal immigrants are endorsed to commit voter fraud. The real fraud are those Russian bots posting facebook memes.
>Muh 3 million
He caused very high voter turnout in blue states. The state's population doesn't matter beyond its electoral vote distribution. People that thought having a million more people vote blue in NY and Cali were going to make the votes count harder are delusional, ignorant of the electoral process, and just the sort of people I don't mind seeing be disappointed by the reality of how the presidential election works and has worked since before they were born. Trump won because he knew how he needed to win and realized before he even started running that he wasn't going to waste his time on self-destructive deep blue hives and instead win the blessing of the "flyover" states that the coasts seem to have so much animosity toward. Unsurprisingly to about half the country, it turns out those Flyover states are still pretty important.
They forgot it.
Anyone can vote in Cali so long as the people accepting the ballots are all on the same page to run them no questions asked. There are videos of busloads of illegal immigrants getting driven into voting centers in Cali so they could all flood the ballots with Hillary votes.
This is why the electoral college exists and we don't let the popular vote determine election outcomes. So that California and New York can't exclusively determine the fate of our country in every single election.
Semi-written, maybe. With the way they make the show it probably didn't even have a single scene animated yet.
They can, and they do.
They're still holding unto it until the perfect plot opportunity arrives to bring them back.
Or they just made it up on the spot and now they don't know what the fuck to do with them.
