The full cast list isn't out. We only currently know for sure that Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf are gonna be there + Sterling Brown and Evan Rachel Wood iiirc.
But I'm fairly sure there's gonna be more voiced roles than that in the movie. And if I was working for Disney, I'd keep Hans being in the movie under wraps as long as I could, to get that news hype free advertising when it's announced. Plus Josh Gad tagged him in a pic of him, Menzel, Bell and Groff, and google, wikipedia and some news outlets are listing him as being in the F2 cast.

I think that's shit writing though, because it's coddling the fragile headcanons of shippers even if it means a bland shit status quo story, instead of writing a good narrative arc.
Plus, I feel that people make too big a deal of what the fans want. A lot of the fans happily ship Elsanna even though it's crushed by canon. Shippers don't care about canon, or at least they're not stopped by their ship not ending up as canon after all.
So, imo there's no reason for Disney to mind what the smut-writing gay-shipping segment of the fanbase wants. Most of the money will come from plebs, parents of kids and total normies who like het romance and would find it awesome if Elsa landed a man. If some fans are gonna bitch on Yea Forums or tumblr because their gay headcanons didn't come true, who gives a shit?
So, I agree they won't make her gay because it's an idiotic move.
I just don't think they'll leave her single either, because that's narratively unsatisfactory. Elsa's big tragedy has been isolation and loneliness, being so afraid of her powers she couldn't even hug her mom since age 8 or so. So, the logical conclusion is her getting over that to the point where she's free to experience physical affection and open her heart to another. Eternal spinster Elsa is just too sad.

But as they progress they begun to understand each other in a more complex manner. They will suffer greatly, but they learn to compliment each other greatly as they stand with each other as equals. And so by the time they do help each other they don't think about the Peter and Gwen they both fail. They instead think about the Peter and Gwen they see and are willing to stand with. Through tragedy they find support in each other and vow to stand with. And from that they start doing the one they've never done and what's missing from it. They start laughing

The Voltron remake and the whole "make x ship happen" harassment is a great example of why it's a horrible idea to capitulate to shippers.
They're already this bad, can you imagine how much worse they'd get if there'd be actual notable examples of creators changing canon to make the shippers' demands happen because they just pushed hard enough? I never said I thought it was good from the start, but I don't think the result of the massive shipping obsession was a result of the show otherwise being shit. Imo there's been a shift towards "shipping is activism" mentality in fandom in recent years, at least on tumblr, so the ship wars are super intense and people use a lot of moral policing arguments for why their otp is supposedly okay while their notp is a harmful toxic abusive pedo abomination that should be BANNED.
There's also this weird tendency to straight up harass creators and demand that they agree to their "righteous" demands, like that time when the fans who'd harassed that one girl to the brink of suicide for liking the wrong things and drawing the wrong kind of art (it was just your basic bullying) turned on Ian J-Q for daring to intervene and make a statement like "bullying is bad, ship and let ship", and tried to frame him as a pedo.
It's wild, man. A certain subset of fans is just becoming crazier and more volatile, and they migrate from fandom to fandom.

You ever noticed how fandoms that revolve around series whose writing and stories are typically mediocre at best, like Naruto, Voltron, Korra, Star vs., Overwatch, ect., have a higher likelyhood of creating the obnoxious, obsessive, and overzealous variety of shippers? It’s a trend that when there’s very little that’d actually satisfying in a show, people will gravitate towards the few things that still feel feel like they are, and when shipping is the only thing left that matters, the more they’ll feel that t REALLY matters, even if it’s terrible.
The only exception to this i can think of is Avatar, and even then the only ones that are obnoxious as a group are the Zutarafags.

I don't think the shipping thing is tied to the quality of writing per se, but rather in the type of show and the availability of shippable characters. Then again, BBC Sherlock managed to net vast amounts of insane shippers right from the start, back when people still thought the writing was good.
Rather, I think at least one part of it is that there's a certain subset of crazy fans that tend to drift towards whatever fandom will feel like it'll be fertile ground for their "shipping x ship is HORRIBLE because it's technically pedophilia and promotes abuse blah blah liking y character harms people irl blah" bullying. If a show tries in any way to market itself as progressive, all hell will break loose. The writing can be pretty good, and the plots interesting, but if this certain type of fan attaches themselves onto the hip and popular new fandom, all hope is lost. Voltron fandom for example went to shit very soon, like within a week of the first episode airing. It wasn't about the writers throwing bones to the shippers, it was about the insane fans smelling blood on the water and descending upon the fandom.
