Alright Yea Forums witch hellish nightmarish version of Batman do you prefer out of this bunch killers
Did fear bat and flash bat get their own 1 shots?
None. Their conception is bad fanfic.
Man, that's like asking my favorite flavor of shit.
aquabat had no real connection with batman. half of them are "what if X thing made batman crazy"
My choice and reasons why.
>fear bat
who?
>flash bat
Batman got mad at Flash for not using time travel more, so he strapped him the the hood of the batmobile and used polymerization to fuse together so that Flash would still be in his head and forced to watch Batman kill everyone for some reason.
Dawn Breaker or Murder Machine.
guessing GL batman
>GL batman
Oh, the one who was so powerful that as soon as he put on the ring he got access to the super special power that let him kill that no other green lantern has ever had and let him one shot every other green lantern at the same time.
Man, that was one of the worst.
I like doomsday batman cause he did nothing wrong also I wanna fuck those bat fish tits
The super special power was Autism m8, the ring fucked up and thought a lack of fear due to autism meant overcoming it and his autism poisoned the emotional spectrum
I liked the Doomsday Batman since Bats is just a battered housewife to Superman
Batman Who Laughs
I'm not sorry, I read Crossed and love Carnage
Nothing wrong with that it was edgy fun but still fun
It was ayt, pretty edgy and hilarious where he mows down the bat family and where he has Supes and Jon tear Lois apart goddamn.
Just a reminder, the Grim Knight is an evil version of Paladin.
Is one those didindunuffin or are all of them pure evil?
depends. all of them are murders, some of them fight to save their worlds and some are in it for the lolz .
Kinda wanted to see a Evil Shazam/Batman fusion
Besides the whole invade another universe Doomsday Batman only turned himself into doomsday after Superman snapped and started killing people
> Ares > Aqua > Cyborg > Flash > Joker > Doomsday >> GL.
are you ranking? why would you rank cyborg version that high?
Not them but I liked his origin a lot
This looks like some Yu-Gi-Oh shit right here.
What's the Atk points on Doomsday Batman?
For Every Dark Knight in the GY This card gains X 1000 ATK and DEF
Red Death. Love the concept.
Autism bat was interesting, I would like to have seen batgirl in that universe.
I like the design and I liked him in Metal.
I really hate seeing that fucker outside of Metal though and Snyder is going to shill him as much as he possibly can.
I doubt he would have had a batgirl if you consider his age he was one of the younger evilbats alos you know his emotionally stinted personality leaves no room for others
Big Fat Bat Tatts
Easy to see why Catman wanted them
Every decade or so DC seems to come up with a new "Ultimate Badass Villain bigger than Joker or all the others" for Batman
>in the 70s it was Ra's al Ghul
>in the 80s it was Black Mask and to a lesser extent Killer Croc
>in the 90s it was Bane
>in the 00s it was Hush and Dr.Hurt
>and for the 10s it's The Batman Who Laughs
I wonder what kind of progressively edgier villain we are going to get for the 2020s
>for the 10s it's The Batman Who Laughs
How does that work when LMAO only came during the end of the 10s? If anything he might be for the 20s
I'd fuck warbat or doombat
yeah but maybe batgirl becomes batgirl to fight him. like how red son still had batman. she could go for that "true hero" path. obviously few things would need to be reworked, for one his world ended the second he walked into the lantern so that would need to be cut and his power levels would need a dial down.
Seems like his universe went to fast so to speak and had the world not ended after he killed Gordon that might have happened
BwL came in 2019, there must be a better choice for the 2010s
and would you not have liked to see it happen in a one shot elseworld type story?
>How does that work when LMAO only came during the end of the 10s? If anything he might be for the 20s
Allright, fair point, but I don't think KekBat is going to last until the better part of the 20s.
None of the villains I mentioned, with the exception of Ra's (and Bane in recent years), managed to retain Ultimate Badass status for long. There are a lot of other failed Ultimate Badasses I didn't mention because they didn't even last long beyond their debut storyline (like David Cain or Scratch or Lincoln March). None of these characters had any staying power whatsoever and I think The Batman Who Laughs is just going to be the same.
Metal came in 2018 but fair enough.
So who would be the "New Ultimate Badass Batman Villain" of the 2010s?
Or have they been shilling the Joker so hard that they didn't even leave any room for this kind of character?
2010s really didn't try to flex the new villains as super evil badasses. It mainly focused on old ones. You could really stretch and say Court of Owls but I don't think they fit the description. You're probably right about BwL falling off eventually, it would be interesting to see him became a main Batman rogue if it all works out. I'm so glad they kept Bane and Ra's badassery into current year. Bane has never jobbed and will always be the ultimate Batman badass in my eyes
>Bane has never jobbed
are you sure about that?
>BwL
he knows too much about bruce and is too much like the joker, there is no chance for him.
I guess Lincoln March but as you said he didn't even last beyond his debut storyline.
The New 52 era was more about making the existing characters as edgy as possible than introducing new ones
>who would be the "New Ultimate Badass Batman Villain" of the 2010s?
Tom King
>So who would be the "New Ultimate Badass Batman Villain" of the 2010s?
Talon?
None. This was a shit mini with a terrible resolution that only made a gateway for even worse stories.
>but its meant to be like edgy, bad 90s comics
Oh, fuck off with that.
>You could really stretch and say Court of Owls but I don't think they fit the description
Yeah no The Court doesn't fit. T
>it would be interesting to see him became a main Batman rogue if it all works out
Honestly I'm sick of the character already and I don't think he should have lasted beyond Metal, but he is Snyder's new pet character so we are going to see him pushed as far as he they can take it.
Batman has already way, way, way too many "Batman but evil" villains as it is.
>Bane has never jobbed and will always be the ultimate Batman badass in my eyes
Bane jobbed pretty hard during most of the 00s. People complained a lot about his decay during that period until The Dark Knight Returns happened and we got storylines like Arkham War (a pointless, ugly waste of time that exists only to reaffirm Bane as the Ultimate Badass and give him the movie coat) and then I Am Bane for Rebirth.
What kind of "nightmare Batman" would you come up with?
Red Death solely for that version of Bruce being such a madman.
>Or have they been shilling the Joker so hard that they didn't even leave any room for this kind of character?
This. I honestly can't think of any new batvillains that had a major presence outside of the Court of Owls/Lincoln March, but those are iffy.
Meanwhile, Joker had stuff like Death of the Family, EndGame, etc.
I like Merciless, because he's old, powerful and very underutilized. Loved his Space Marine design. Hope to see more of him.
Fishtits is close second, she wanted to be a hero again, but this part was written very inconsistently. Was saddened to see her die for no reason, fuck Aquaman.
Also, remember picrelated? Shame that we never saw Darkseid bats.
One that's basically Kingdom Come Batman or Brother Eye-fused Batman in that he's a massive control freak and freely abuses his "batgod" status.
Though some of the nightmare batmen like Murder Machine probably have those traits already.
Bruce Wayne's parents survived. He became a rich corporate asshole and uses the alias 'The Bat' when he acts as an illegal arms dealer to The Falcones and other non-mask villains.
>Was saddened to see her die for no reason,
Did she die I thought they were gonna bring her back for an aquaman villain
I figured that's what the dark multiverse was. A physical manifestation of bad ideas/fanfic that is never allowed to exist in the main multiverse.
Wonder Bat or whatever his name was. He fits the Dark Knight concept well, and I just love the whole armoured dreadnought think he has going on.
She got impaled by Aquaman in the last issue of Metal, wiki lists her as dead.
Although bringing characters back is no problem, I'd be open to it. Dawnbreaker also shown some signs of remorse in Wild Hunt, he could be turned good also. But even if they plan to return Fishtits as a villain, it still would be ok by me.
>She got impaled by Aquaman
I mean impalement isn't a death sentence in comics
Dark Magic Batman that instead of going tech/phsyical after the death of his parents he abused zatanna into getting him into magic
How about a magic Batman and a high tech batman are fused by a Dr.Batmanhattan to create a Composite Alchemy Batman
Design wise I love Killer machine and Red death's looks.
I'd explore the idea of fusing Bruce with some of his villains
>Penguin-Batman: A Bruce who only lost Thomas, not Martha, and who grew up spoiled and lonely with his mom and pet bats until crippling debts forced the state to seize his assets, turning him to crime to support his sick mother. Using his skill for gadget making to become an arms dealer, he eventually got a taste for crime and began punishing other criminals who dared enter his playground, and he gradually got bolder and bolder until he somehow became President. He seeks greater vistas now.
>Ventriloquist-Batman: The Waynes were mobsters in this universe and Bruce was expected to take over the business until they were murdered and Bruce was sent to a mental institution. There, he assembled a puppet made in the image of his father's old bat costume and, through it, managed to assert his aggression and cunning on others, eventually taking back his family business and expanding it.
>Freeze-Batman: The Bruce of this world was driven by a ferverish desire to save his fiancee Selina Kyle from terminal illness until the tragic accident that permanently bonded him with his Batsuit.
>Clayface-Batman: A Bruce who was forcibly fused with the entirety of the Mud Pack (Basil, Hagen, Payne and Sondra) and became an ultimate clay Bat, driven by his conflicting desires of fighting for justice and saving the city with his theatrical desire for glory and murderous impulses. He constantly morphs into other versions of Batman, sometimes many at once.
>Gotham-Batman: A giant consisting of the entire city of Gotham fused together in the shape of Batman, with Arkham Asylum as the head, who laid siege to his world and now seeks to add the Gotham Cities of other universes into his being
why is the gl batmans face fucked up
>I wonder what kind of progressively edgier villain we are going to get for the 2020s
an omnisexuell, feminist, islamic all-and-non-gender-trans, person
And Because that Batman was really, REALLY gay for Superman.
Every batman is gay for superman they have the world's finest bromance.
Honestly I'm all for the concept of the Dark Multiverse and nightmare versions of batman based on what could happen in the most hellish and horrible scenarios
But fuck, do more than "What if Batman but Doomsday/Flash/Ares/Joker/Green Lantern and evil
A Batman who went into writing comics after his parents died and specializes in edgy versions of DC superheroes whose bios read like exceptionally terrible fanfiction.
A Bruce Wayne who falls in Love with Talia Al Ghul and takes over the league of assassins. He becomes the Demon Knight.
Black Adam but if Bruce Wayne was chosen by Shazam after the mugging
>Bruce Wayne's search for a way to be a hero takes him to strange places when he decides to answer a call to a disturbance at an observatory outside Gotham.
>When he gets there an elderly scientist is dying and tells him "the first has arrived but another is coming and we must stop it"
>He indicates the machinery behind that is activated, it's a transport beam of sorts
>Bruce attempts to reach the controls but is caught in the beam as it fires into the room
> Ma'alefa'ak fuses with Bruce and they flee in a swarm of bats as they break through the roof monstrously changing form between a mix of bat, man, and Martian.
>J'onn watches from the shadows outside the observatory terrified
Murder Machine was the best. The whole concept of Batman resurrecting Alfred and it going horribly wrong is a brilliant sci fi take on a greek tragedy frankenstein kind of thing. These origin one shots were the only decent things to come out of this abortion of an event.
The Court of Owls. We've been seeing them fucking everywhere and I'm so goddamn sick of them
>batman merciless revives wonder woman and wonder woman snaps talia al ghul neck
Might as well ask here. Is Multiversity Deluxe Edition worth a purchase? It'll be a first time read for me. Is the base JL involved at all?
The one with massive tits
Based
They aren't that big.
Good thing they didn't create an entire event + spinoffs/oneshots for the physical manifestation of bad ideas/fanfic that is never allowed to exist in the main multiverse.... oh wait.
But the Drowned was on of the worst. Her origin is a mess and her costume is just a steampunk pirate for no particular reason.
I kinda want to know the stories of other Nightmare/bad ending characters 2bh
There's also a meta quality to the whole thing. Each of the Dark Batmen is introduced with their own comic. The Red Death #1, The Dawnbreaker #1, etc. They have their issue, everything goes to shit, and at the end of it (usually) The Batman Who Laughs shows up and explains to each of them that this is all the story they get. Their world runs out of time just as their little one-shot does and they aren't getting an issue #2. He then offers them an opportunity to enter in to mainline continuity and a chance to continue on. It really is like a bunch of failed side projects all banded together, escaped their crib-death, and ran amok in the main series.
It's really blatant in the Red Death where the Batman Who Laughs is straight up telling the Red Death he's in a doomed Elseworlds story.
I wonder how that Batman merged with Lex Luthor is, there probably was some kind of merge between Wayne Enterprises and LexCorp along with Bruce adopting Lex's way of thinking.
I wonder if he's bald
That's just one of the reason why I hate Dark Knights, it's a shitty meta story and the idea of the dark multiverse is a dumb idea that propagates dumb ideas.
I bought a library copy on the cheap and I was very happy to have the whole thing for a first time read. It's a fucking great time. The mainline JL is talked about but they aren't really involved in the story.
>parasite Superman
>spider flash
>some kinda zombie green lantern
Dang these are pretty sca-
>black canary with a club
What’s that universe like?
Mad max type, like Gotham Garage.
The Grim Knight is my favorite. It’s just Batman’s plot armor + prep time bullshit + lethal force
I was so hyped to go to a world where Batman was the one who had started a dictatorship but of course Snyder completely blue balled us.
Why the fuck does Parasite always look so cool outside of the main universe? I fucking hate the fat Parasite wearing green pants that Johns and Frank gave us.
>and the idea of the dark multiverse is a dumb idea that propagates dumb ideas.
It’s no dumber than the million of Elseworld stories we already have. I don’t understand why the Dark Multiverse causes such butthurt. The regular Multiverse has plenty of shit stories like Act of God.
>I don’t understand why the Dark Multiverse causes such butthurt.
It's centered on Batman. You should have known by now that anything that focus on Batman gets a lot of hate. Specially stories that elevates him above other DC heroes.
All of them are poor attempts at Snyder and DC pretending they didn't get create a bunch of half Batmans in order to sell toys and statues.
Well, at least those statues are good
