shit show didn't watch but the most obvious theory turning out to be real is really funny

Arguably, Pink did nothing wrong saving humanity and sacrificing herself, but she did it in the most pants on head retarded way imaginable all because she was acting like a teenager going through a mood.

I personally can't wait until it's revealed she's still alive through bullshit means.

Naw she's dead, they confirmed on podcast. I still think it's weird they added in Rose/Pink Diamond laughing when Steven fuses with himself, though. Kind of a stupid choice when the whole point is that she's gone forever.

It was a stupid twist only made so they could pacify the diamonds.

So Pink Diamond's arc is over? It doesn't feel like that would be the case, since we don't know much about her, especially her motivations in making Steven (we didn't even get a flashback). Also Steven having Pink Diamond's memories is another loose plot point, that hasn't been fully explained yet, and it could be Chechov's gun for a plotline further down the line.

The Pink Diamond reveal was objectively when the show jumped the shark. The only reason people defended it was because they claimed that it "had potential", but none of that potential was even reached.

The initial drama was flaccid as fuck, with none of the characters actually giving so much as a mildly shocked expression barring Garnet. It wouldn't have been nearly as bad had they actually tried to flesh out Garnet through Ruby and Sapphire, and use the opportunity as a way for them to grow as individuals that can learn to not be hopelessly codependent. But that would mean actual character development and we can't have that, let's just give them a fucking gay marriage.

And with that the only thing left were the Diamonds themselves, with Steven winning over every single one of them with little effort solely because of who he is. He didn't win the day through his ideals or his mindset, he won because of his circumstances, which spits in the face of any kind of moral they tried to teach.

Nothing good came from this bullshit.

Who cares, the show fucking sucked lmao

it would have been better if it wasn't a secret identity. her faking her own death to her family then being surprised when said family punishes the planet for the crime of killing royalty is probably the most braindead thing anyone on the show has ever done.
