Hulk gets stronger with anger, true, buuut that is only one element of a fight. Yes he heals, and is agressive buuuuut he is NOT a character with super-speed.

The Hulk moves faster than a human, abd he might get a little faster with rage, but there's diminished returns to this.

Technically even anger has a limit as an emotion, something writers usually ignore, so we won't factor that in.

Anyhow, Goku moves at super-speed. He could take his kids for a walk, eat a full meal, file his taxes and rub one out BEFORE the Hulk gets off one punch.

Hulk might as well be standing still, AND it's definitely possible to KO Hulk before he gets a change to get stronger. This fight would be over quick.

Honestly, OP'd characters are not the point of good story telling anyway. We could always just make up another more OP'd character.

And for what it's worth, if this was a weightlifting contest with magical weights that increased automatically then I give the Win to the Hulk. Simply he's dumber and would keep going heavier until the end of time to prove it. Goku has other obligations he cares about and would quit sooner - especially being there's nothing on the line other than bragging rights

On a close quarters fist fight, probably the Hulk. But if we include the energy beams and the ability to blow up planets like its nothing, Goku steamrolls.

Hulk can be put down quick before he gets too mad, and Goku could blitz him easily.

But thats not Goku's style. If told the Hulk is an imminent threat he might be quick, if he knows that Hulk is a misunderstood monster that often had the mind of a child, he will not only not blitz, he might do that stupid thing where he will want to face hulk at full strenth.

Goku can win if he is lied to or acts uncharacteristically ruthless. He is able to take Hulk out. But his lack of mental acuity and personality flaws would probably cause his defeat.

Yeah but that isn't Goku. It's definitely possible to KO Broly before he gets a change to get stronger and look at what Goku and Vegeta did. A Hulk vs Goku would be like Broly vs Goku.
