Post the full solicit. This is probably an elseworld. He sure as fuck didn't have a horse or shield in the OT (the only part of Star wars that matters)
I think people have just forgotten the word protagonist exists
>What did they mean by this?
Marvel and Disney are down with child murder, clearly.
its not an else worlds he saves a world from a kaiju then the empire inslaves them. the issue is told from a native boy of the world 's point of view
Vader Dark Visions # 3
THE STAR-CROSSED LOVER!
DARTH VADER, a name that strikes fear in the hearts of countless across the galaxy...but there is one lonely heart that beats just for him.
What is it like to be in love with LORD VADER?
And what fate will befall one who is infatuated with the tall, dark mystery behind the mask?
Making the comics canon was a mistake.
>Darth Vader makes an emergency landing onto the planet
>Proceeds to fight a giant kaiju and even rides into battle on a demonic alien horse
The whole comic was pretty fucking awesome
Reminder that this was originally by Chuck Wendig, we got lucky desu
Luckily, not a trace of Wendig can be seen in the first issue.
What would it be like under Wendig? I haven't followed his work.
Reminder that that’s literally not true. Wendig’s series was completely different.
It means he is a hero with qualities of a villain.
I feel like I've seen that plot before; either in the original Marvel run or the newspaper comic.
>zomg Vader having le epic duel with mega zord godzilla monster, just like my fan fictions!
YIKES
>t. Cuck Wendig
Whqt are you talking about? It's literally the same premise
>Star Wars: Shadow of Vaderwas a 5-issuecomic bookminiseries that focused onDarth Vader'sinfluence onthe galaxyacross eras. Each issue would have followed a different character or group, reflecting on how their encounter(s) with Vader changed their lives.
It means that he did nothing wrong
Still better than TLJ
Holy shit, that is the exact same comic.
Here, I'll even prove it
Completely different my fucking ass. Star Wars: TIE Fighter was supposed to be by him too. Marvel gave this abysmal writer two miniseries after his other Star Wars work was universally panned
Honestly he’s a fucking idiot. He had a cushy gig getting to write Star Wars novels and comics, which he even claimed were pretty quick work. All he had to do was not be a toxic pice of shit on Twitter.
Why is that so hard for so many people?
Also, Aftermath was pretty weak, but it’s not nearly as bad as people act. There are worse books in nuCanon. But he can still go fuck himself, I’m glad he’s gone.
That was great. I like the Vader series making him badass
You should apologize
That was really rad.
Ok. Sorry.
"Anti-Hero" has a different definition at Marvel. Villains, who appear to be cool, become "Anti-Heroes".
Deadpool, Punisher, Venom, Wolverine, Elektra, Magneto. They were all introduced as "villains".
