Why did the Kree Supreme Intelligence never go through Carol's mind to find the secret lab...

Why did the Kree Supreme Intelligence never go through Carol's mind to find the secret lab? It already had all her memories
Why alter her memories that a Skurll killed Dr Wily when you can just wipe it?
Why did Carol never realize she had a fucking mind control device on her in six years?
Why did Jude Law tell Ronan to bomb the planet before he found the lab and he was still on it?
When Carol left in the ship in the end why didn't the Skrulls on the ship ever just leave for home?

Have sex

>Why did the Kree Supreme Intelligence never go through Carol's mind to find the secret lab? It already had all her memories
They don't care about the lab, they care about wiping Skrulls off the face of space.

> Why alter her memories that a Skurll killed Dr Wily when you can just wipe it?
They didn't do anything to her memories, she just had explosion induced amnesia.

> Why did Carol never realize she had a fucking mind control device on her in six years?
It didn't control her mind, it suppressed her powers and weakened her. Did you watch the movie?

> Why did Jude Law tell Ronan to bomb the planet before he found the lab and he was still on it?
Because they wanted to destroy the weapon so it couldn't be used against them. Yon-Rogg thought he could bring Vers back in line and recover the core but when Vers turned he realized it was too late.

> When Carol left in the ship in the end why didn't the Skrulls on the ship ever just leave for home?
Are you a bonafide retard?

You.

Yes, you. The one screaming, "Brie Larson is toxic" and "Her movie is shit!" and other slurs I dare not mention. Tread lightly.

You are one. We are hundreds, thousands. Millions. You aren't just IN the minority; you ARE the minority.

I don't feel awkward or anxious going to watch Captain Marvel at least five times around others, and your words don't affect me. Many others, however, are coming out of their shells for the first time in their lives. This is the first time many are enjoying the beautiful movie that has been made for us - and it IS powerful. Incredibly so. DON'T ruin this for them. We Captain Marvel fans may have our differences, but we will not hesitate to come to the aid of our fellow fans, especially against someone who so virulently slurs that which has brought us all together.

Don't take this the wrong way. I don't hate you. I don't fear you.

I pity you.

I'm sorry that you feel this way towards us. I'm sorry that Captain Marvel and Brie are such a bane to your existence. And I'm sorry that you are missing out on such a wonderful experience. Mostly, though, I'm sorry that you feel the need to go around and publicly chastise and berate others. I'm sorry that, to ensure your own validity, you need to make others feel invalid. I'm sorry that your self-worth is so infinitesimally miniscule that you have to make others feel less-than-human, at least in your own denatured mind, just to feel whole. I am truly sorry that day-in and day-out you have to put up with your worthless, meaningless, Shakespearean tragedy of a life.

I ask you politely to cease your unnecessary cries for attention, and instead invite you to join our ranks. Stop watching porn and anime, go to cinema to watch Captain Marvel, and breathe in the splendour and the amazement of this movie, and then, maybe, just maybe, you'll see what you've been so hopelessly searching for this whole time.

>and then, maybe, just maybe, you'll see what you've been so hopelessly searching for this whole time.
Fucking footfags

>Why did the Kree Supreme Intelligence never go through Carol's mind to find the secret lab? It already had all her memories
Because they already had all of the info. every info the Skrulls learn by scanning Carol's mind, the Krees already know about it.
>Why alter her memories that a Skurll killed Dr Wily when you can just wipe it?
They didn't alter her memories and I don't think the Krees have the mean to wipe memories.
>Why did Jude Law tell Ronan to bomb the planet before he found the lab and he was still on it?
Because getting rid of Carol was more important.
>When Carol left in the ship in the end why didn't the Skrulls on the ship ever just leave for home?
I don't understand the question.

>why didn't the Skrulls on the ship ever just leave for home
.....what home? Did you forget Piccolo's whole reason for coming to Earth?

>Why did the Kree Supreme Intelligence never go through Carol's mind to find the secret lab? It already had all her memories

Fuck if I know. Maybe she didn't remember, herself. She hadn't ever actually been there.

>Why alter her memories that a Skurll killed Dr Wily when you can just wipe it?

Maybe that was actually a self-induced deception. Skrulls are bad, therefore a Skrull killed Wendy.

>Why did Carol never realize she had a fucking mind control device on her in six years?

She thought it was the thing that gave her her powers.

>Why did Jude Law tell Ronan to bomb the planet before he found the lab and he was still on it?

Destroying the lab was his best option with the Skrulls about to secure it. I guess he thought he could get away in time.

>When Carol left in the ship in the end why didn't the Skrulls on the ship ever just leave for home?

They have no home, it was destroyed, They're gonna have to find a new one.

Those are not the things I have issues with in this movie.

Fuck off, copypasta troll.

It feels like they simplified the conflict by making the Skrulls dindus in the 2nd half. Its so weird when you compare it to the 1st half where they even had a ship that could travel to Earth and could organise an ambush. Also, what happened to the rest of Talos' team? There were more than 3 of them on the beach and only 2 died. Did the rest just fuck off?

>they even had a ship that could travel to Earth

THAT is what is so fucked-up: Mar-Vell developed a 'light speed engine' everybody wanted... when both sides already have that capacity???

What is the question here? Earth is a destination, the point was to develop a faster engine. You're asking "why invent planes when boats can already go every where?"

The light speed engine was a decoy plot device, the Skrulls were the real target, even said in movie

>faster

If only they had spent one throwaway line on that!

"What Mar-Vell developed makes everything we have look like steamboats by comparison."

But nothing!

That can't be true unless Mar-Vell developed the engine specifically to draw the Skrulls to Earth.
In any case, the Skrulls wanted the engine, too.

I have one problem with this movie
one FUCKING problem and that's it.

where's the sash?

The movie sucked. That's why.

Why didn't Ronan come back to Earth in 20+ years?

Well, I hope the sequel deals with that.

Carol confronting Yon-Rogg again.
Carol confronting Ronan.
Carol confronting the Supreme Intelligence and destroying it, explaining why the Kree are no longer a galactic power by the present time.

Probably involve the Xandarians and the Nova Corps, explaining Ronan's fierce hatred of Xandar.

The fact that the Skrulls were the target are weird too. The Skrulls on the ship were all civillians and just spent 6 years on the ship doing nothing but wait for Mar-Vell?

The seeds of future resistance.

Here's a better one.

Why did the Skrulls specifically capture Carol? Did they know her memories would lead them to Mar-Vell's lab? If so, how? Do they just make a habit of capturing all Kree at any opportunity and digging through their heads for anything worthwhile? If so, that's awfully convenient for the plot, and the narration during the interrogation sequence doesn't get that across. The dialogue really makes it seem like they knew exactly what they had and what they were looking for, but how would they know Carol/Vers has it?

Ronan is deaded.

Well I hope the sequel gets cancelled

Just more things Captain Marvel doesn't make clear. Honestly it made more sense that they just wanted to steal Kree tech. The twist just made the Skrulls look weak.

Is anyone else kind of shocked by how little discussion there is for this movie on Yea Forums despite being part of the MCU and just days since its opening?

There's threads peppered throughout the board but most of them are dead while the only active one is the same old sexism arguing. Haven't seen a MCU film with such little talk besides antman&wasp after opening day

Everyone just blew their load in only a few days

Because she has the same energy as Mar-Vel's engine.

The whole kree/skrull thing was just confusing.
How did the skrull know that marvel was connected to the lost family in the first place?
Was it just a coincidence when they captured her that her memories happened to lead to what they were after?
How did the skrull guy know that his missing family was connected to her?
He seemed to imply that he told them not to send messages from that secret base. But if he knew there was a secret base out there why didn't he go straight there to find them? Why was marvel the necessary middle man in all of this?

"I'll tell you my secret after you tell me yours"
Then the Skrulls outright say 'oh that's why your energy matches' after Carol gets her memories back.

They targeted her specifically because of that.

....What are you trying to say?

I don't. I have to have hope. I have to believe we will come to look back at this movie as an unfortunate glitch.

>Do they just make a habit of capturing all Kree at any opportunity and digging through their heads for anything worthwhile?

I have to assume the Skrulls knew Mar-Vell was on their side and that she died in the crash; it's not much of a stretch to know some of her associates, such as her USAF liaison pilot.

But then, why would they be surprised she wasn't really a Kree? Hmmm.

I'm shocked that anyone saw it. That was the most obnoxious marketing campaign I've ever seen in my life.

>this movie as an unfortunate glitch.
wow have sex incel

u sound like ur trying to suppress the opinions of minorites. shame on u

And who are you, little man?

I can assure u (not the poster u are replying to but another one) that if u unironically like this movie and identify as female that my next statement applies to u 100%

females need a strong amount of dick to suppress their crazy attitudes, without it, they go on power trips and try to ruin the lives of everyone around them, cause they have little to no enjoyment out of life.

>Many others, however, are coming out of their shells for the first time in their lives.

What?

Your white male demographics will be discounted, incels. Time for a revolt.

From the movie, Yon Rogg gave her a Kree blood transfusion which makes her half Kree I guess? Honestly there's a lot the movie just leaves out conveniently. Which makes it simpler but less satisfying.

They made the plot too complex and then took out everything that would help explain it which really fucked it over. I honestly can't think of an MCU movie that has more moving parts than this one, the rest are pretty much all some variation of "stop the bad guy before he does something bad."

big, if true

It seemed like Mar-Vells lab ship had a functioning lightspeed engine in that arc-reactor thing. I believe the question is "why didn't the Skrulls on the lab that Mar-Vell was hiding just forget about any rondezvous with other resistance members they were separated from and just go set course for a random star on their own? The ship clearly had some manner of life supporting capacity seeing as how they had been living there for years already and didn't make any special preparations before Carol flew out ahead of them and they took off. They could have just... gone. They HAD what they wanted, except Talos.

Also why is lightspeed so important when they seem to have beyond lightspeed travel already? The Kree seem to have the same warp technology used by the Nova Corps, and they used that tech to travel to uncharted systems in GoG vol2 so don't try to tell me that the lightspeed engine is important to establish warp points in uncharted space.

Like, I get that the Kree clearly didn't care about anything other than a fun new weapon and that the Skrulls just wanted to escape Kree space but it seems like the entire movie could be skipped and the Skrulls already had access to everything they wanted.

Well shit, you've convinced me. Can you direct me to my local reorientation center? I need happiness and understand now I will only have it as one of the Disney force. Together we will know victory!

The Skrulls just had the Tesseract, but not the science to harness it. Zola was able to make destructive weaponry out of it, but the Skrulls needed a means to tap the true power of the Space Gem.
It has been well established at this point that manipulating them directly is dangerous for most people. Yeah, the need for it to completely escape Kree Space was rather poorly explained in the movie with the term "Light-speed travel".

Bro, they remove the Tesseract from the lab ship, give it to Fury's new space cat, and leave it on Earth with Fury while their same unmodified ship follows Carol at Lightspeed. The Tesseract never played into any of this really.
