Constantly shit on Captain Marvel saying it looks awful leading up to release

>Constantly shit on Captain Marvel saying it looks awful leading up to release
>See it Earlier
>Fucking love it, it's now My Favourite MCU Film
the marketing for this Film was shit and made it look way worse than the true kino it is.

I liked the movie but I'd be skeptical of anyone who told me it was their favorite out of the whole MCU.

Though apparently some people genuinely like The Incredible Hulk so what do I know?

This is your favorite over Infinity War and Winter Soldier?

the Stan Lee opening tribute was Great. I started clapping and slowly more people did until the entire Cinema was clapping when it say "Thank you, Stan". if there's a heaven, I hope Stan saw that and knows everyone misses him. Also, this sounds like a made-up "and everyone clapped" story that I'm using to get attention but this actually happened.

Waaaay over those.

You have very interesting taste in movies

I'm happy you enjoyed it I guess? It's just a fucking movie.

What was it, Larson lounging in $20,000 worth of designer clothes?

>It's just a fucking movie.
Do you feel the same way about Comics?

"Thinking of Stan"

>saw the movie

Yeah, sure bud. What was your favorkte part?

who was that blue santa claus-looking guy?

when Talos goes to Mar-Vell's spaceship and meet with his family and Super Carol destroying Ronan's ships
the movie gets good when Carol goes to earth, the kree are all boring shits who turn out to be murderous freaks, I hated them.

When Carol, Fury, Maria, Monica are talking to the Skrulls at Maria & Monica's home.

Space-techno-viking, played by Rune Temte (Ubba on The Last Kingdom). Both he and Blue Afro Guy didn't get much to do. Even Korath got a scene where he realised Ronan might be the guy to follow when Yon-Rogg lied to him.

>it's now My Favourite MCU Film
Sure it is

>ignore the catalog
>make another fucking thread

It'll be the same for Shazam, Endgame, Joker....same as it was for a lot of the more popular cartoon series finales.
Get used to it, get over it. It's annoying but here we are.
Look on the bright side, the MCU fanbase won't be making threads for 4 years trying to sell it's greatness.

This happens literally everytime a CBM comes out. How new are you?

Uh, yeah, it is.

Turns out we're on Yea Forums and not Yea Forums...who knew?

I've seen it. I don't believe you. I believe that you like it. But it's not your favorite

>Mar-Vell is a fucking woman now
What the fuck? Why are none of you mad at this?

Why would I tell you that it's My Favourite if it's not? What would I gain from that? it is.

Good thing you liked it.
I did not. But I guess it was not made for me, a person with eyes and no patience for lame allegories.

I have no idea. Maybe you're lying to yourself? This is as odd as somebody saying Thor 2 is their favorite MCU movie

How would we know?
Nobody reads her comics.

No it's not at all like that.

Only virgins care about Mar-Vell

No it really is.

Why isn't it? You like the movie because you like the movie. They like Thor 2 because they like Thor 2. It's a cape movie. It isn't particularly compelling, it doesn't have some amazing message. Unless you're trying to claim you're something special, there's nothing different between you liking this movie and them liking Thor 2.

I am irrationally angry at the way he wears this shirt.

>skrulls dindu nuffin

NO.

That's it, user...keep triggering them.

An origin story with a dull actress and bad effects is your favorite MCU movie? That's honestly kinda sad.

I went to see Aquaman and slipped in to see Captain Marvel. The first half was kind of boring, but got better as she made it to Earth. I was so excited to see Super Sayan Carol threatening to rape Ronan. Yaaas!

Aquaman was better, though.

I dont credit the opinion of anyone that doesn't place Winter Soldier as the top Marvel movie. I dont care about the rest of your order so much, but nothing else they have done comes close.

This whole thread

>I don't give credit to opinions that aren't from plebs
Woah there, son.

It's Goyer, he deserves it. So glad Blade tried to strangle him.

I'll make it very simple and clear: Captain Marvel is really worth a watch. It's just entertaining and visually impressive, exactly what it was meant to be.

Just keep this in mind that it's an origin story so don't go looking for an overstuffed complex story. It's just a fun action movie that introduces us to a new superhero Captain Marvel, played brilliantly by Brie Footfag. I became an instant fan watching her in this action heroine avatar, something she manages to pull off with ease. Watch her in the action sequences and there's no way you can't be impressed. Viewers were literally cheering for some of the most heroic moments in the film. Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury is as awesome as always, it's just that his character feels even better and refined than what we've seen. Jude Law is also quite good, and so are Ben Mendelsohn and Lashana Lynch.

But the one character that ultimately steals the show is Groose, the Loose. Some of the sequences involving her are so hilarious that it was really difficult to stop laughing.

Visual effects are excellent, and the IMAX 3D viewing just elevated them. And since it's most importantly an action movie, every single action sequence it delivers is impressive, especially the train sequence. I would call it one of the major highlights of the movie. Cinematography in certain portions is really impressive. Humor, like any other MCU movie, is top notch and really manages to make you laugh.

Captain Marvel has a simple-looking origin story presented and executed in a terrific manner. The directors have done a great job with the characterization of Captain Cunt, and that is what makes everything in the film seem so good. The pace is brisk, gore is minimal to no, and there's nothing unsuitable for kids..

happened in my theatre too user

I miss him

t. didn't see the film

pretty much this, but unironically.
It's in the upper third of MCU films.

Have sex

>it's now My Favourite MCU Film

What the fuck is wrong with you?

>Captain Marvel is really worth a watch.

Yes... one of those plastic shitty things that are made by underaged slaves in Vietnamese sweat shops that work all right for about a week and then start displaying 26:88.
They probably have a little critter that almost, but not quite, looks like Hello Kitty or Pikachu on the front.

Finally a Marvel movie I won't have to see.

> Though apparently some people genuinely like The Incredible Hulk so what do I know?
It's never been hated, what the fuck are you talking about?
When it came out it was considered just a bit below IronMan1.
