Nothing i liked it

Attached: another.gif (500x211, 485K)

It's more of a half assed Fury movie than a Captain Marvel movie.
I don't particularly like her line delivery but overall her side of the story isn't bad.

>What went wrong?
not feminist enough

Nothing, it was perfect.

Completely nothing. I enjoyed it. Just wish for more Ronan. Might be a delete scene

Why was it boring?

Yea Forums faggots spamming this shit, just like marvel forcing this character nobody likes and cares.

It was a sub par action movie with an extremely unattractive and uncharismatic lead actress

I have been saying this shit since day one

Nothing

except for furys eye that was fucking bullshit and i want to write an essay on it to free my soul

You.

You went wrong.

I would be fine with this if it came out earlier but she's coming out and kind of stealing the spotlight at the last minute from the avengers we grew up watching for like a decade.

if the movie fails? Larson

My little user cant be this underage

Just like Dr Strange! And most people loved him so

Yea Forums got triggered

>Yea Forums
Nice try dipshit

He had like two scenes in infinity war and he wasn't hyped up as the ultimate weapon to stop thanos unlike captian marvel

>ugh why are you invested in a cinematic universe that spans a decade
Nigga fuck off. I was 17 when iron man hit theaters.

Have sex.

>Just like Dr Strange
Vision should have stolen the movies from civil war onward. His relationship with Scarlet Witch on screen the most boring piece of shit I have ever seen.

and whose fault it is? and please dont tell me is Yea Forums or /pol/

This. I was already aware of their relationship from the comics but the sudden romantic development into a couple for infinity war still threw me outta the loop. They did a really pisspoor job with vision and scarlett .Probably the worst developed characters in the MCU.

>What went wrong?
The MCU became popular, women saw men having fun so they decided to ruin it just like everything else.
Even the gays are not safe.

stop deflecting the problem to other boards.

Not much. It was really good.

You silly incel

You didn't even see it

>spamming to fight spam
seems legit.

THIS

It was fine. Kinda bland. I'm hyped for Endgame, though this movie didn't do much to get me more hype. Did Ronan ever have a fight in the MCU? Did they make him a complete jobber?

Oh, is your pee pee too sensitive?

>Did Ronan ever have a fight in the MCU? Did they make him a complete jobber?
Drax jobbed hard to him.

>Pacing issues made it feel like they rushed to Act 3 too quickly
>Sometimes it felt like they were telling instead of showing, and they would just randomly expose bits of info as if we were already supposed to know
>There felt like too little exposition in general. As someone who reads comics it was fine for me, but I can imagine casuals being a bit put off by how much they were expected to just know
>A lot of the supporting characters and antagonists got shafted for screentime.

Other than that, I thought it was pretty solid. The interactions between Fury and Carol were cute, Brie Larson was actually surprisingly convincing as a USAF fighter pilot turned Kree espionage agent despite what the trailers would have had us believe and she was actually quite charming. I'd give it a 7.5/10

Brie Larson. THe movie is good but nothing special but that bitch drag it down by her lack of acting skills.

You know what the biggest warning signs were for this movie? The fact that a lot more people were talking about Sam Jackson and the cat more than the title character herself. Brie Larson was barely serviceable, even though she had the benefit of mostly just having action scenes rather than a whole lot of dialogue, but even then, she's really miscast in this film.

The CGI was really hit or miss in this movie, even more than in Black Panther. There's this fight scene with Nick Fury and I couldn't keep my eyes off of just how Jackson looked like a glazed Krispy Kreme donut with all that de-aging going on. Worst part is, the actual fight was really bad because he could barely move, seeing as he's 70 fucking years old. You're telling me that they had him do that choreography and yet almost everything with Brie Larson was done with a stunt double that's clearly a lot larger and muscular than her?

It's the weakest Marvel movie, all of the other ones tend to have something unique to them or a genre to lend to and here it's just a typical action movie with "hey you remember this???" nostalgic undertones at best. At least with Iron Man 3, they tried to do something bold and failed, here, it's like they tried to do as little as possible and still failed to get me hyped for Endgame. This movie was just filling in all the missing plot details from all the other movies while simultaneously trying to build up a character almost no one has any familiarity with. It stinks.

You've missed the mark.

Not enough Goose. We need a Goose movie.

>he wasn't hyped up as the ultimate weapon to stop thanos unlike captian marvel
He was hyped upfor holding an infinity stone.

Give me ONE GOOD REASON they didn't bring Goose to Titan to deal with Thanos

it made money, so nothing?
I mean, it is not good, but movies are not made to be good, they are made to make money

me and my friends thought it was great

don't listen to internet outrage, especially here on Yea Forums

This bitch is OP.

Here here, mate

me and my friends thought it was boring and one of the worst MCU movies

feminism, nothing else needs to be said. Also Brie Larson is unlikable.

Shill

what am I shilling?

>Goose is dead
>Goose is on his home planet
>Goose is old and tired
>Fury was too busy on Earth with Maria Hill and had no idea what was going on at Titan

Nothing. It's a perfectly decent Marvel movie, just like most other solo Marvel movies.
There's really no reason for someone to hate this more than Doctor Strange or the first Thor. There's not even that much of the feminist crap people keep complaining about.

Doctor Strange was good unlike this trash

It's just as good.

I find it hard to believe most of this board has seen this movie when it literally came out today.

I don't recall dozing off during Dr Strange

Big movies don't release on Friday anymore, retard. They usually release sporadically during the week depending on where you live.

It came out on Wednesday for me

Ok, 'tard.

Most of it was spoiled prior to its official release in America.

>reading bulletpoints about a movie is the same as actually having seen it

>What went wrong?
Not handing the most recent Cosmic-Marvel character nobody's ever heard of who's getting a movie made about them to the same guys who handled Guardians of the Galaxy.

Bump.

Bump

Ladderbro is coming

is there a pic of Ladderbro yet?

>Not handing the most recent Cosmic-Marvel character nobody's ever heard of
Nothing recent about her, except picking up the name Captain Marvel instead of Ms Marvel or Warbird.

I just found the trailers uninteresting enough that I didn't feel like watching it.
Also when Brie was spouting off about how CIS WHITE MALE SCUM SHOULDN'T WATCH THIS MOVIE!...I just went "Well, if you don't want me to watch it, then I won't."

I liked the parts on Earth for the most part, Monica and Maria were sweet, and Fury and Carol had a surprisingly fun dynamic/rapport. All of that said, Carol was nothing without Maria or Nick carrying her and no matter how hard it tried, I couldn't be arsed to give a single fuck about the Kree or the Skrulls. Overall it was a bland movie that happened to get lucky on some points. I'd absolutely put it among the weaker half of the MCU.

The post credit scene should've come out before the movie.

I dunno. Just feels like it would be a smoother transition for Capt Marvel to becoming a necessary piece for Endgame if they did it this way.
