Dear Shadowcat!
Any chance that we get a few HD issues of Detective Comics that were previously ripped as SD by "digital-Empire" ?

What dupes, Phase 2 HC books were never ripped, only vol 1 out of the 8 or how many of them are available.

As a pleb who doesn't use cbr readers, I too am offended by the thumbnails of some of Shadowcat's rips.

Highlight: userscloud.com/ Click the arrow next to the post number -> 'Filter Selected Text' -> check the box marked 'hide' -> 'save settings' -> close -> refresh page
If you're using Yea Forums X then: 'Filter' -> 'Comment' -> and paste this on it's own line: /userscloud.com/.com/i -> 'save settings' -> close -> refresh page
And reduce the spam-floods to single lines. ( You can then either click or mouseover the [view] link to see the contents ( see image related ) if you're curious about a single post that might not be yet more reposted bullshit ... but 99.9 % of the time it *won't* be ).
If you don't have the options listed you need to go to the bottom of the page and click [settings] -> 'Filters & Post Hiding' -> 'Filter and Highlight Specific Posts/Threads'
Lastly, if you MUST use some uc links be sure to use a download manager like jdownloader.org/jdownloader2 as that will cost Happy Meals 50% of his french fries.

Yesterday, the hamlet of Empire released 20 dupes. They seem to outperform themselves bit by bit every week in this department. How many dupes will we see next week? I'll be merciful and not even count DupingCat-Empire who dupes Empire's releases.
>Destiny, NY 008 (2019) (Digital-Empire) The link resolves to "Destony - NY ..." and that was the name I was looking for when I tried to locate 001 to 007. Libgen lists all of them as "Destiny, NY", FYI.

I'm the original user that you've replied to this time. What always gets me is that SC's the only ripper I've seen that does it. SC did the first 3 trades of Shadow of the Bat and it wasn't jacked up and Glorith's previous rip of the 6 issue Batgirl mini is fine as well, so I don't think it's the content itself
>Here are some more comics with dodgy thumbs, just like you faggots requested! I don't know about the rest because I never really cared for the New Warriors or any version of the Thunderbolts but the Secret Invasion - Skrulls! one was just fine.

Edit: Sorry SC only did the third trade but it still isn't jacked up.
Deacon, a prototype android soldier, was ordered by his corporate masters to eliminate a team of scientists who knew too much and he has failed spectacularly. Not only did he let one of his targets live - 19-year-old human outcast, Jeff Linnell - he attacked the team sent to retrieve him. Now the Corporation demands answers and they have employed the brilliant and ruthless robopsychologist Clarice Maven to get them.
Deacon seems desperate to conceal the shocking events that took place on Da Vinci 4, but what chance does he have fighting an adversary who can control his every move? (yaoi911.com: 89 pages)

Cavewoman is an American alternative comic book created by writer-artist Budd Root, and published originally, primarily by Basement Comics. The Cavewoman's original series follows superhuman Meriem Cooper, a 19-year-old jungle woman who battles dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures in the Cretaceous period. This is Meriem's first appearance and the story of how she got lost back in time with her Grandfather only to be joined by her hometown years later. This is a 2018 remaster of the 1996 original series TPB collection with bonus content for the entire run of Cavewoman Reloaded. Collecting Cavewoman v1 (1993 – 1995), nos. 01-06, and Cavewoman - Reloaded (2005–2009), nos. 01-06 (Basement Comics: 269 pages).
Does anyone have good quality digital scans X-Men from the 90s. I am looking for issues 31, 32, 34, 35, 58, 59, 60, 61, 87, 88, 89, 90 100-106.

X-Men v2 issues 31, 34 and 35 are not available yet. Issue 32 is only in SD quality. And issues 58, 59, 60 and 61 are already on MarvelUnlimited, so they'll be ripped pretty soon, I think.

The issue is on CMX to rip digitally. Glorith (or any of the other Emerald Empress expy's) never released a true digital OR the hybrid versions of this issue.
However, Novus did release a set of this run by Dobis that are comparable in size and quality to the Glorith Hybrids but not sure how much, if any of it, is a digital rip with paper scans or entirely scanned:
No clue why Glorith did some digital rips of some of the concurrent hybrid releases from, but a very few did not get digital rips due to the few Empire SD/standard rips that existed and the singular Emerald Empress policy not to re-rip for release existing scene rips.
I'm sure we'll eventually get Empire dupes of these so there may be a true digital of this issue then.

I'm well aware of that Dobis scan, but I was specifically looking for a hybrid version by Glorith, as up until 294 everything was ripped digitally, then from 295 to 313 they are just hybrid, reedited scans by Glorith, except 306 that I was looking for at the first place.
Andrew Davis
But if its available digitally (as well as other issues missing issues) I'd be more than happy if they were ripped properly later on :)

Anyone got or know if there's a site/list that tells you which Vertigo Comics are/were canon to DC? Finally getting around to sorting and some of this shit is a pain. The DC Wiki isn't much help since it doesn't always say whether a series is or not.

No site that I can think of. There's a few general guidelines that you can use to guess if a series was canon or not. There are always exceptions though.
If it was creator owned or a new IP from 1993-present, it was probably not a canon series.
The books that started prior to Vertigo (Sandman, Hellblazer, Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol, etc) WERE canon to the DCU, at least to around 2005. This sort of includes the spin offs, but if that spin offs came out after 2000, then they weren't allowed to reference regular DCU stuff (which is why no capes are ever referenced in Carey's Lucifer, and why he was only allowed to use characters like Constantine who were considered "Vertigo" characters. After 2005/6 and "Infinite Crisis", Dan Didio started insisting that everything under Vertigo was always in its own universe, and wasn't part of the 52 Universes that were recreated after IC. That's why DC ran advertisements about Death appearing in Action Comics in 2010 as "her introduction to the DCU"
Some new books that were released from 1993-2000 were supposed to be canon, but sometimes you get into a "is it canon if literally nothing ever references it?" type of debate. >Mobfire Had John Constantine in it, but was never mentioned outside of its own miniseries. Books that were considered canon for a time include >Sandman Mystery Theatre James Robinson was writing Starman and did a pseudo crossover with SMT. Both series did a story about "The Mist" at the same time, and SMT's regular artist guested on Starman for a few flashback sequences. The thing is, SMT doesn't 100% line up with the later books (like Johns JSA) about those golden age characters. >Scarab >Kid Eternity Were technically in the DCU, but James Robinson killed both of them off when he started JSA. >The Books of Magic ongoing This is tricky. It references all of the magical DC things from the miniseries and has Zatanna as a guest, but no other capes. The later spin off mentioned Supes.
The Timothy Truman illustrated Jonah Hex stories I don't believe are considered canon at all (since they are super natural). After 2001, the Vertigo office would start trading off characters with the DC offices, and that's how Didio got Jonah Hex back, and how Vertigo got a weird Deadman series that had nothing to do with regular Deadman. If you see a book with a DC IP released by Vertigo after 2001 (like Human Target), then it most likely is not in the DCU

it's returning a 403 page so it isn't blocked on isp levels, they've probably had a london server failure

Hey, can anyone share a good source for Spanish-language comics? Looking for newer, original stuff and not just translations of English-language comics.

also to add to this, if zippy was blocking uk IPs it would show exactly like comicbookdb.com does and if it was isp based blocking it would show probably what something like thepiratebay or something else shows with the isp redirect to say it has been blocked
Jayden Cooper
I know, I connected to a UK vpn and tried it. So I'm guessing it blocked at the zippy side. They have no London servers, btw. If they are blocking it, they can display whatever they like as they are ones blocking it. They could make it hang and timeout, display a "Go fuck yourself page" or this 403.

What if there was more to fate than we knew? What if our fate was completely out of our hands? Four hundred years separate the Old Testament from the New Testament and during that time, neither man nor angel could hear God's divine message. In His absence, an age of chaos began. With humanity at a standstill, a power struggle erupts between the Archangels and The Fallen, who ignore Father's orders, over who will control His throne. What role will humanity have in the deciding of their fate? Who will rule Providence and all that comes with it?
In this first collected volume, we follow grumpy twenty-something Eve and her stoner roommate Hanna as they navigate post-college life. They'll take on crazed childhood rivals, troubling art scenes, the discomfort of exes, and maybe even... friendship? All this and more in the fictional, totally made-up city of Brooklyn (Image: 258 Pages).
The Brooklyn stories of love, madness, nostalgia, and displeasing music continue in this second collection. Eve and Hanna have each other's backs as they navigate the emotional pitfalls of twenty-something life, but there's chaos and confusion to spare (Image: 176 Pages).
In this third Ignatz Award-winning volume of the series, the chaotic magic of Brooklyn continues to complicate Eve and her friends' lives. But while they explore new realms of adulthood-and evaluate their own happiness-the stakes are beginning to rise (Image: 200 Pages).
In the fourth installment, dreams and harsh reality are beginning to blur. This volume follows our Brooklynite heroes as they descend into the throes of heartbreak (Image: 242 Pages).
As they watch the days of their youth roll by, Brooklynites Eve, Hanna, and friends must confront the truth about themselves-whether they're ready to or not. The award-winning webcomic series comes to a close in this final laugh-filled, heartrending installment (Image: 323 Pages).
The warriors of the Great War tormented by the Martians of H.G. Wells; an astonishing and innovative alternative history. Summer 1916: the second wave of Martian machines has invaded eastern France and Germany, and begins their assault on humanity and the people of Paris. But Professor Challenger comes back from the site of the Tunguska incident with a strange alien device. What can a single weapon, wielded by one man, do against hundreds of mechanical monsters, up to 30 meters high, armed with a ray of death? (Soleil in English: 56 pages)
In 1916, during the battle of Verdun, a huge German mine destroys an important French fort and kills general Nivelle. However, the explosion uncovers a strange and massive machine which had been buried in the ground beneath the fort for centuries. Protected by a force field, the machine suddenly sends a message into Space – a message that will awaken what is hidden under the dead cities of the planet Mars... (Soleil in English: 48 pages)
It is Summer, 1916; the first wave of the Martian invasion comes down on Verdun, spreading despair and panic. Einstein, with the help of C. Flammarion and Prof. Challenger, have to unravel the secrets of a wrecked Martian vessel recovered by the Germans. In so doing, the horrible nature of the Martian pilots is revealed... You do realize this isn't something neat like digital remastered and cleaned up copies of Golden Age Whiz issues but rather just a slightly higher grade Matthew Manning book with Chipp Kidd's name on it to sell it to the publisher and to others?
It would also need to be scanned.
Nicholas Thomas
>You do realize this isn't something neat like digital remastered and cleaned up copies of Golden Age Whiz issues but rather just a slightly higher grade Matthew Manning book with Chipp Kidd's name on it to sell it to the publisher and to others?
There's one story that's remastered - not sure if it's in the Shazam 75th, but it's not even an Otto Binder story but one by Simon and Kirby, which I think is neat, but I doubt most Billy Stans would agree.
There's also some single images and splash pages, but it's mostly shilled Fawcett products that they slapped Cap's name, etc. Supposedly very nice, HQ photos, but of 80-70 year old toys and in the condition that toys from that era were in.

Digital Fat Nerd ripped these both and backed them to the hubs late last week. I've been busy grabbing these huge Timely/Marble books, or I would have gotten them already, so hold your horses.
Had a problem with one volume or my ISP and had to restart a download, losing most of the data, so I just finally am uploading all three now, plus they are majorly huge files since those (and the two Invaders above) are PNG for some unnecessary reason, and thus huge files.

His Fantagraphics and Image rips are fine, as were the Black Masks he did in 2016, I think he's a Brit and I think he's just starting to rip some from the Comixology site there since he did those Wiley and McKinnon books that you can't find domestically.
But yes, the Howard the Duck vol. 3 quality is a Marvel issue and those are B&W interiors for the most part, but processing them as PNG is unnecessary.
Doing the Invaders as PNG is uncalled for. Likewise the Archie didn't need to be PNGs.
Also, is there are problem with the the Archie books being two ripped sets zipped up together, because when I joined the vol. 5 of the Zippyshares multi-parts, that's what it gave me and I still can't get that other file host to download completely without crashing?

Closest thing you'll get is either searching for specific rippers like "lucaz" or excluding keywords like "ultron". Unfortunately UUUU danke is in empire and both manta and poopster rips mango occasionally so you can't just filter "empire".
>Howard the Duck - The Complete Collection v01 (2015) (Digital) (FatNerd).cbz >Howard the Duck - The Complete Collection v02 (2016) (Digital) (FatNerd).cbz >Howard the Duck - The Complete Collection v03 (2016) (Digital) (FatNerd).cbz A bit too small, but thanks!

Shadowcat: any chance to get Hercules (2005) five issues in HD? Only rips available are in SD courtesy of AnPymGold...maybe it's time...thx in advance
Hey, I want to limit my time here too. Let me get my manga and get out the easiest way possible. Scrolling through the same Batman comic fifty times isn't fun for me either.
Dylan Scott
Sorry for the delay - I thought my response posted last night.
Some of these definitely exists as digitals - search in desu/fireden for them as "X-Men (digital) (1994)" and so forth for what's recent and what doesn't have an active file host, either browser or libgen, Some definitely exist, I'm not sure all of them have digital rips.

Better yet, tell him to go to /qa/ and complain to the mods about how Yea Forums apparently can't have a manga ripping thread like Yea Forums's Win-O, at least not without stupid janitors deleting it. If Yea Forums had manga threads, the categorization takes care of itself.
Robert Johnson
Search function, although you'll need to know titles to manage that with 100% success
It makes you elitist and prejudice, at best, small-minded and if you fully agree with his sentiment, immature

Go blow a hobo, and take mango boy with you.
Camden Cook
They're ripped so sportantically though. I can't search every week for Record of Grancrest War or whatever else when the chances of it getting ripped are so low. It's easier just to scroll through and take my pick or what is actually getting ripped. But whatever, I'll just keep an eye on the manga section of mcp since they're smart enough to label stuff. It was just a suggestion.

>Yea Forums >accepting anything official wew
Thomas Young
Yea Forums accepts official things you retard they just don't buy them
all the complain-fags naggin' about how comics are stupid, Marvel/DC = trash and there is absolutely not a single issue good at this week/year/century - where?
Wouldn't you rather start your day with this? Fuck off, Mephisto.
Nathan Roberts
Wednesday! The only day when Yea Forums deserves to be visited. The only day when you meet tripfags and namefags who do NOT deserve a bullet to the face. The only day when you can unfilter the names of the Big Two in your 4chanX.
Today is Wednesday.
Cooper Torres
Both of you are the sweetest things on wednesday morning.
The dupe virus has infected Empire so badly they're duping in the actual filename.
Bentley Powell
Samefag's gotta samefag.
Adrian Garcia
>nigga what is with those filenames? Imma go out on a limb here and suggest, and bare with me here because I know that this is a bit obscure, but what I think is that the ripper wants you to be aware that these are "Marvel Editions."
>Has he really improved though? I doubt it. I think this is Editorial allowing the crappy dialog ( just like they do with KingBat's "bat, cat, bat" and suchlike ); but keeping a handle on the sheer avalanche of words, words, words that Bendy gets up to if they allow it.
>thanks for the blog post >not >"I'll be sure to pass that along to the rippers and scanners so they can make it their TOP priority!" What are they even teaching you kids these days?
