Well they've finally fixed Cassie's look, and I don't mean the face. Her MKX costume was boring, now she's full Hollywood style solider. Now all NRS has to do is fucking kill off Jacqui permanently. I took the old timeline games as real-time barring Deception happened right after Deadly Alliance. Armageddon's conquest mode indicated some time passed after Deception's end up to the titular Battle of Armageddon happening in the 'present'.

MKX took place 25 years after chapter 1 of MKX (which seems to be the new timeline's version of MK4 Proper) but there's no indication of if MK9's MK1-2-3 portions took time like in the old one.

So to wit:
>MK1 - 1992
>MK2 - 1993
>MK3 (UMK3, MKT) - 1995
>MK4 (MKG) - 1997
>MKDA (MKTE)/MKD (MKU) - 2002
>MKA - 2006
>MK9 - ends anywhere from 1992 (assuming MK1-MK3 all happens one after another) to 1995 (assuming time passes like old timeline)
>MKX - 2017? or 2019-2022 (either 25 years after the actual MK tournament so 2017, or assuming after Shinnok's defeat in Chap 1 of MKX, it happens two years after MK3, be it old timeline or new timeline with it all one after another)
>MK11 - 2019 or 2024 (presumably two years after MKX)

Alright, MKX proper is definitely twenty-five years after Chap 1 of MKX according to Shinnok's bio, which was pretty much a heavily alternate version of MK4 in all but the broadest strokes of "Shinnok takes a realm as a power base to wage war against the Heavens."

So, assuming 1992 or 1995 as the end of MK9's MK3 portion, then MKX barring Chapter 1 is either 2019 or 2022. Assuming two years passed, 2021 or 2024.
