"Flash animation" is a fallacious term used by people to trash the software. Even with rigs and tweening, a lot of professional animation in Flash and Harmony is manipulated frame-by-frame. Do some research next time and leave the goalpost alone.

For flash-style action shows, they are among the best. Motorcity is underrated as far as visuals are concerned.

While I love Future-Worm, I readily admit the designs might not have warranted treatment by a higher tier studio like Titmouse.

You're the one moving the goalpost. No one ever doubted that Flash can be good if you use to it to do frame-by-frame animation, the fucking Castlevania intro was done in Flash and that blows the fucking water out of anything Titmouse has done in Flash.

But we were discussing rigged puppet animation, otherwise saying "Flash" would not have meant diddly shit because of course any program capable of animation will look good if you animate traditionally. That's not even a discussion. Why the fuck else would I post Wander?

All I said was that they knew how to make stuff look good in Flash, which is what they use for most of their show AND that it blew most other studios work in Harmony out of the water. And let's face it, the majority of Yea Forums wouldn't have known that Flash was capable of thing beyond motion tweening if some frame-by-frame animation in Flash put in front of their face.

Except that it doesn't.

Titmouse works with their own script that allows for full range movement for their rigs:

And this is on top of Toonboom having dozens of other features that Flash lacks. Titmouse makes nice animation in spite of using Flash, but they're crippling themselves by not moving on to Toonboom.

Chris P said that software is irrelevant and it comes down to the skill of the artist, which is why they continue to stick with Flash. But for the record, they do use ToonBoom software according to their job listings, and Tigtone is clearly not done in Flash.
