Leaks apparently confirmed.
Billy has been living on his own, getting in trouble and searching for his mother, whom he lost during a day at a carnival when he was very young. He ends up in the group home with the other kids (Freddy, Mary, Pedro, Eugene and Darla) and starts going to school with them. When Billy fights bullies and escapes on a subway train, he is brought to the Rock of Eternity and the Wizard makes him his champion, Shazam. Billy then goes back to his home and asks Freddy for help with superhero stuff since Freddy is a fan, and the two discover his powers and stop various crime while gaining social media status.
Years ago, Doctor Sivana was brought to the Rock of Eternity as a child to see if he was worthy, but the Seven Deadly Sins corrupted him. In present day, Sivana searches for them with the help of his father’s company, Sivana Industries. He does not get along with his brother or father. Sivana has been running a secret project under his father’s company, interviewing people who the Wizard has taken to see if they are worthy. He finds out the symbols of the Sins and uses them to open a portal to the Rock of Eternity, where he finds a magical eye that holds the Sins and learns the Wizard is weak. Sivana steals it, it is stuck in his eye socket, and he can control the Sins with it.

Billy lets the fame get to his head and encounters Sivana, who wants his power. He loses the first fight and Sivana finds out who he is and kidnaps the other foster kids. Billy then faces off with him at a carnival, where Sivana unleashes the Sins.
Billy realizes he can defeat Sivana when all of the Sins are summoned since they give him his powers. Billy eventually tricks Sivana and steals the Wizard’s staff from him to grant the foster kids powers. They become the Shazam Family, and each of the kids then help Shazam defeat the Sins and Sivana. The movie ends with Billy embracing his new family.
- In the beginning flashbacks when Sivana enters the Rock of Eternity, he sees Mister Mind in his glass case, but later in present day, when Billy enters, the case is broken and Mister Mind is gone.
- There’s a pretty cool scene in the cave where, at one point when Billy and the other kids are stuck in there, there’s a room with a ton of doors to other dimensions like in “Rebirth”.
- There is a Black Adam cameo, but only in a hologram when the Wizard is telling Billy about a champion who failed him. You can't see his face, though.
- There is a Superman cameo. It’s a great payoff. Freddy the whole movie has wanted Billy to show up at school as Shazam to prove he knows him and at the end he finally does, then he says "And I brought another friend" and Superman walks in. He's in the Justice League suit. However, you can't see his face or hear his voice, so it's not Henry Cavill.
- Movie is around 2 hours and 10 minutes long.
