I enjoyed it a lot and miss it
It's pretty good. I don't know if I'd go as far as "gem", but it's definitely a fun watch.
It was pretty fun. Basically a better Loud House:
>better backgrounds
>better character designs
>grander use of slapstick in the unlimited world of animated comedy
>stronger, more appealing protagonist worth rooting for
Overall, it wasn't anything AMAZING, but I'm happy we got a good two seasons of it. In my eyes, Disney XD made a strong first impression with Kick Buttowski, and it was definitely a cartoon that deserved being animated by Mercury Filmworks.
It had two top-tier shotas as MCs so of course it is a gem.
It was fun, but I would have made more change in the status quo.
^ this plus it was all by Chris Savino, so you know.
Chris Savino was very involved in it, I realized.
Also Kick's dad and little sister are pretty much the exact same characters as Lincoln's Dad and Lola.
It's curious to see that kind of thing in hindsight.

Don't they have the exact same voices too?
both.
Still mad that they keep teasing the tsundere pairing and nothing came of it before it got canceled
Yep. Brian Stepanek and Grey DeLisle.
Fetish: The Show
>stronger, more appealing protagonist worth rooting for
When he wasn't a Gary Stu, first episode I saw was about some boxcar racing and he goes through a Mountain because "the law of physics is a law and I don't believe in laws" or some bullshit like that. He was still a Gary Stu but later episodes downed it by several notches which was appreciated
>implying that isn't pic related
I'm surprised he didn't recycle more characters, considering how many sisters Lincoln has.
>not posting an image of that god-tier waifu in her viking garb
Nine years later and this is still the most memorable moment from the show for me
>somebody was paid to write this joke
>another person was paid to storyboard it
>another to cut it into the animatic
>another to design it for the animators
>another to animate it
>another to choose the write sound effect for a delicious fat ass
>and all the while, multiple executives approved of it every step of the way
Brad was such a fag for not paying to take her home.
He will never get another opportunity like that again.
What a shame.
Yep. Nice to see Flash/Toon Boom shows where actual effort is put into the animation.
I want to live inside that ass
someone had to PITCH it first
probably while jerking their dick
Old thing good
New thing bad
Rita > that cunt
I only remember the fangirl character and the WWII episode.
It was alright, I suppose.
"Gem" would be too generous. It had a few great episodes nearly drowned out by a bunch of bad ones. But it is the first flash cartoon I remember that had very tight, snappy animation in a good way.
The show killed itself by focusing too much on one shot characters instead of building upon existing character dynamics. Scarlett only got one episode, what a damn waste.
Don't get me wrong, Rita is incredibly sexy and by far one of the top cartoon MILFs of this decade, but Kick Buttowski as a whole is more entertaining than The Loud House. Maybe it's because it was more high-concept rather than predictable and sitcomy.
I remember it for all the gay shipping
