How to fix season 5?

How to fix season 5?

No need to. It’s actually pretty decent.

Just destroy everything from ep 4 to the end and redo it while keeping the inner Jack's fight till the end and make it instead of a crappy love story , make it more of a redemption story showing HOW ACTUALLY BAD jack has become from his stay in this alien world.

remove Ashi

Better idea WHY NOT MAKE ASHI the final villain to face. She has learned from her mistakes and while Jack tries to reach Aku or the Sword she tries to gain power from either Demongo or Aku himself to be able to face jack once and for all fueled on Revenge and Demonic powers.

Kill Ashi
Blue Jack never leaves

>No Ashi
>Jack ages like normal
>Jack becomes peak skill warrior king, defeats Guardian, and uses the portal he was destined to use because it turns out ancient magical portal prophesies set in motion by forces powerful enough to convince a guy like the Guardian to stay there killing countless great heroes for thousands of years aren't retarded and don't fuck up so badly that they keep literally everyone from getting to the portal except the one entity the whole arrangement was designed to defeat
Pretty easy honestly.

Remove every episode but 1,2 and 3

Aku must die in future, not in past. when AKU is die, ASHI starting slowly dying. Jack saying about, what people need live today.

Keep the beard

Jesus Christ the beard was kino

Combine episodes 7 and 8 into a single arc focused on the journey to retrieve the sword. Take the basic concept from episode 7, but expand on it. The first part sees Jack and Ashi having to physically travel to the spiritual world to retrieve the sword, only to become separated. The second part sees Jack confronting the image of Mad Jack, who taunts him about the people he failed to save and Ashi confronting the image of her 'mother', who chides her for ignoring her purpose and working with the man who killed her 'sisters', mocking her loyalty to the samurai who has seemingly abandoned her. They fight their demons and both look clearly outmatched until Jack rebukes Mad Jack, proclaiming that whoever he may have failed in the past there are still people worth fighting for in the future, at which point the sword is revealed to him and he destroys Mad Jack. Jack finds Ashi and helps her defeat the image of her 'mother', assuring her that she is not alone, and the two return from the spirit realm, determined to bring an end to Aku's reign.

The penultimate episode progresses much the same way - Aku confronting Jack, turning Ashi against him, defeating Jack, and the finale still has all of Jack's friends rallying to free him. Jack uses the sword to break Ashi free of Aku's influence and together everyone fights Aku. Desperate and on the verge of defeat, Aku tries to sway Jack into sparing him, telling him that if Jack kills him he will lose his only way to return to the past, but Jack resists the temptation and destroys Aku for good.

Aku defeated, Jack and his friends work together to rid the world of his influence and make the future a better place.

Start by NOT RIPPING OFF GURREN LAGANN

Remove Ashi and focus on the final conflict of Jack vs Aku.
Give us a good final battle between Jack and Aku.

Ashi wasn't the problem, the problem was the show dropping the ball on the themes it spent the whole fucking season building on:
>Jack overcoming the grief over the deaths of his family and his people
>Jack conquering his feelings of guilt over failing to stop Aku in the past and failing to return home
>Jack realizing that there's still something worth fighting for - making the future a better place for the people he cares about
Finale needed to end with Jack making a conscious choice to stay in the future.

Not making it in the first place

>still thinking Jack should have stayed in the future instead of undoing all the damage Aku brought upon the world

Jack goes back to the past the but the future still gets to exist and celebrate like at the end of Ocarina of Time.

Never let Jack get back to the past

Thats the problem
He never has done so before whenever the oportunity was there to return back to the past he always stayed in the future to help the people in need it made all those times he did so feel meaningless season 5 retroactively makes seasons 1-4 worse

Also he never had a no kill rule in the actual show

>Finale needed to end with Jack making a conscious choice to stay in the future.
What the fuck is wrong with you?

I'd have Aku reveal during the final battle that he can't send anyone BACK in time, he never could. Otherwise he would have just killed Jack as a baby and be done with it.

Jack is momentarily shaken by this and Aku manages to get the upper hand but before the final blow is struck, Ashi instead sends Aku forward in time.

When Aku leaves the present his magic/influence does as well, so Jack begins to age normally and Ashi has no more Aku powers.

Together with Ashi and everyone that helped during the final battle, Jack vows to repair the damage Aku has done and prepare for the world his eventual return.

>He never has done so before whenever the oportunity was there to return back to the past he always stayed in the future to help the people in need
He didn't let people get hurt or killed just for a chance to go back on the basis he would just need to find a different way back later. That's not the same as him deciding never to go back because he's concerned about people in the original timeline not being born.

Okay? Then why didnt he fight aku in the future? The least he could have done is kill him we didnt even get a real aku fight the aku fights in seasons 1-4 were a million times better
Season 5 was trash just admit it

A 75 year old Jack would wipe the floor with Aku so easily it wouldn't be funny. Their fights have always been 100% one sided except for their first encounter. Other than that, either Jack almost killed Aku no problem, or Jack didn't have the sword and was unable to do anything but but buy time. There was no way a climatic showdown between those two could have taken place; S5 has problems, but this isn't one of them.

>Season 5 was trash just admit it
I never said season 5 wasn't trash. I'm just saying it's retarded to argue he should have abandoned his family and village and countless other people over thousands of years of Aku's tyranny just for the sake of making sure everyone in the future still ended up born based on Aku hell world still happening.
>Then why didnt he fight aku in the future?
Aku in the future wouldn't exist if Aku in the past was killed and Aku wasn't threatening to hurt or kill someone in the future as a consequence of Jack going back to the past. The only thing staying and killing Aku in the future would accomplish is giving Aku a chance to fuck up their plans by time traveling before they do or something.
