Homecoming Pete loses all of his extracurricular activities, gets detention, his friends think he ditched them for the majority of the movie, flash is an asshole to him the ENTIRE time, he loses his backpacks because of superheroing, and HE DOESN'T GET THE GIRL. That isn't to say that raimis didn't lose anything but homecomings got fucked over too

At the end he comes out a winner, but he spent the entire movie facing the consequences for being Spider-man, and that, for me, is the best aspect of Spidey.
In Homecoming he doesn't really face any bad things, even when he fucks up A LOT.
To be honest i just wanted Peter to face actual Spider-man problems, not just "i wanna be an avenger :c"
