I see good Simpsons discussions on Yea Forums from time to time, especially with the remixed screenshots that get their own threads and mini-memes inside themselves, which in their own way are pretty much a celebration of the show. I think it's just on Yea Forums that it has devolved into total Sneed territory, which is funny in its own right to me.
I think the problem is that there's no new episodes of good quality coming out, it's not worth discussing the new ones and the old ones have been discussed to death. If you have a topic for discussion then at least start your thread with it instead of begging people to just generally talk about The Simpsons.

simpsons memes are fresher, funnier and more inspired than the show itself
What's left is there to talk about other than the last ten years of shit? Also stop being a whiny bitch about threads not going the way YOU want them to

reminder: kang and kodos have showed up in regular, non-THoH episodes now. because they're not just out of ideas, they've passed through the Zone of No Ideas and are into the unformed proto-reality on the other side
>I think the problem is that there's no new episodes of good quality coming out, it's not worth discussing the new ones and the old ones have been discussed to death. This. Even most dedicated Simpsons forums are just them rehashing jokes from classic episodes. The only time any new threads pop up is when people are raging like the girl coder episode or the upcoming Itchy and Scratchy reboot episode. Other than that, there's not much to talk about.

If Yea Forums was capable of ignoring things, /mlp/ wouldn't even exist.
Please tell me there's one with Martin in his soap box derby car

and the closest the show has come to acknowledging that, let alone understanding it, is 'that gif of homer melting into the hedge'. how does a show that was on the cutting-edge of comedy just fail to understand itself?
