Was this run really that good...

Was this run really that good. I don't think i've heard a movie character's run getting jerked off like this one in promotion of the flick

No, it's not very good and it's infuriating that they're finally shilling the comics through the movies with a shitty run like this. And no Reedfags, the Reed run isn't that good either (though it's way better than this).

It's not good, but Yea Forums has so many women on it now that you're going to hear a bunch of them tell you it's good.

The last good Carol writer was Busiek... and he wasn't even a writer of her book, same with Busiek.

The truth is that Carol is way better in teams than in her own comic.

Yes, it was very good. Why don't you read it and find out?

Reed was alright.

Don't fucking lie to him.

I don't think you can call Billy Batson a chad when he got his better known superhero name taken away from him because Marvel jacked it from Fawcett Comics

No.
I don't think that's how it works. Do you read a shitty comic with a male hero, and feel the need to defend it because the hero is male?
The actual problem is marvelcucks will defend quite literally anything with "marvel" on the cover.

Still a Chad.

I've been reading Marvel the last few months now. I don't really know anything about Carol. Is there any story that's good? a story worth reading? She was garbage in civil war 2.

>same with Claremont*

This
The "It's okay when Marvel does it" syndrome is the biggest cause of many of their current failings.

No Carol run is Good. Reed came the closest and his is only okay/fair

She's garbage in everything nowadays. Civil War 2 is one of the worst crossovers ever. You should just stop reading garbage.

is there ANYTHING good with Carol?

There has to be something, they cant just be doing a movie based on just crap.

>Marvel jacked it
It’s all on DC for chimping out when another company started pulling its weight.

Go back to her Ms. Marvel days when she was an alcoholic smoker and actually faced human problems. Her best stories are her at rock bottom because that's where her personality overtook the "Inheritor to something probably bigger than herself" part.
She was at her best when she could not give a damn about superhero work. As it was instead just a reminder of her own inadequacies at solving her own personal problems.

see Alcoholic smoker who hates cars. That's probably the character most people think of when they think 'Carol Danvers', anyway.

>is there ANYTHING good with Carol?
Honestly, not really. Reed's run was ok and her original run in the 70's was mediocre, any other solo was terrible. She was a decent supporting character in some of the Avengers titles.

>There has to be something, they cant just be doing a movie based on just crap.
They can just take elements from other titles or from the old Mar-Vell stories. Ant-man was mostly new material with only a little bit to do with the Comics and it was still successful.
