Predaking is weird to me, fiddling with him. See, Devastator is rock solid-- everything tabs strongly, he is a monolith, he works. Predaking... doesn't tab together nearly as smoothly, the backpack in particular wants to fight you all the time in getting everything locked down.

In my defense, that's not my 'real' keyboard. That's my server PC, which I use to store all my files, so my main PC can focus on games. And, yeah, that keyboard is grimey, it's over 15 years old, has spend the last few years in storage, and was only pulled out because my previous keyboard broke, and I haven't yet bought a replacement, since I don't actually type on that computer.

After telling TC and Skywarp the situation, Skywarp chats with Swindle and tells him that Screamer got kicked off Cybertron to Earth. Which causes Swindle (And Skywarp) to create StreamStar after Swindle told Skywarp about streamers
Thinking of the potential profit of exploiting Starscream, Skywarp convinces Thundercracker to move to Earth along with him, baiting him with human movie deals
And then all happens, with the Seekers also all getting a pretender shell (Also from Swindle)
And the rest is history. Both TC and Skywarp have been in a stream. Slipstream is lowkey a stream rival (Since everyone thinks she's still on Cybertron). Bee is a stream rival.

It's not nearly as complex as a game like Magic, but it's still quite fun. It's also quite a bit faster than Magic and the like, with more of your strategy being in the deck building and team choices.

Oh, it is really new, and i'm now interested.
So, what do they do?

Is it still easy to get into (decks, booster packs)? I could use a slightly less complex game.

Yeah, you should easily be able to find Wave 1 packs around, and Wave 2 just came out. The starter deck and the Metroplex deck are easily available as well.

The Constructicon deck comes out at the end of the month, and features the whole six-bot team.

There's a TransformersTCG subreddit that's decently active, and lots of youtube videos.

The basic game starts with each player having a team of bots out, in their alt modes. You have a deck of action and upgrade cards that also have colored pips on the top right corner. Each turn, you can flip one of your Transformers to their other mode, play an action, and an upgrade. Then, you attack with one of your characters at one of your opponent's characters. You and the defending player flip the top two cards of your deck, and the color and number of pips you flip determine how much you add to your attack value, and the defender adds to their defense value. The first player to lose all of their characters loses.

Sounds easy to play.

Easy to play, and really fun. The complex part comes in team and deck building - What effects do you want on your bots, do you focus on attack or defense, etc.

The battle cards that you make you deck out of also use art from the comics which is great.

If you do get into it, ignore the rules from the starter set, and go right for the advanced game rules on the website. The starter set rules are like, a baby step to teach a kid how to card game for the first time.

Also be aware, the battle cards are the size of Magic cards, while the character cards are the size of two Magic cards next to each other. And then Metroplex and Omega Supreme, the two Titans that are out, are even bigger than the character cards normally are.
