Seriously, Custodian bikes are one of the best units in the entire game. Crazy fast, flying, tough, with helluva firepower, great melee (including a free wound reroll on charge) and the objective secured rule to score victory points in strategic locations and all this for a very reasonable point cost per model. Imperium players (mostly Guard or Marine) regularly take a detachment made out of only Custodian bikes to piss their opponents off with golden men going zoom zoom on their asses.
At least they are showing some of actual modern Custodes Codex stuff.
It's weird how chill Dorn is with Magnus. I feel like Corvax and Vulcan's reaction made way more sense, just immediately blowing their fucking tops at the idiot bird-man.

Guys I play 40k with hate this fucker. They need to shoot that single model with half their army just to have a chance at killing it. He has 6 toughness, 7 wounds, 2+, 3++, 5+++, sports a "reroll hit rolls of 1" aura and gets even more free rerolls (charge, wound and save) granted to him EVERY TURN (including your opponent's). Bike captain is one of the most broken models in the game. And when they kill him, you pay a laughable price of 1 command point to pass the mantle of leadership to another character, denying your opponent victory points for slaying your warlord and boosting one of your guys (preferably abother bike captain) with a powerful warlord trait.
It's not even funny how very right Magnus was about the bikes. Without them, Custodes go down a couple of tiers, from "pretty good as a solo army" to "meh at best".
Besides the models this is another reason why I love the Custodes, they have the best tabletop-lore representation as they can be supremely broken and OP like this

Custodes also shine the brightest as a smaller detachment supporting more numerous and squishier Imperial forces (i.e. The Imperial Guard, which seriously lacks good melee units), and while some people hate to see an Imperial soup on the table, doing so fits the Custodian lore perfectly.

It also played during episode 26 when Leman and Fyodrmperor where marching to the Gate of Khaine, and during the endings sequence of part one.
