The stupid shit

Hulk never actually killed anyone.

this is dumb beyond reason and makes me mad every time I remember it. What is the dumbest thing in comics you have ever encountered?

OP, and his birth.

But he has killed people before
It's just that everyone forgives him because Bruce Banner is white

He actually did. Before the Illuminati finally sent him off-world, he killed a lot of people in Las Vegas.

Now leave, and never come back to this board.

Green privilege

>Hulk never actually killed anyone.
It's canon, so, be mad, and suck it.

kek

Hulk killing people would take away the point of his character that he's unjustly hunted.

Do you actually want to read a fucking Hulk comic where they take two seconds to mention casualities anyway? It adds nothing to the story.

I think the distinction is that the Hulk has actively man-slaughtered hundreds or thousands but very rarely intentionally commits premeditated murder

>Character lives in a world where technologies so advanced people can go to planet a fuckzillion light year away easily
>Niggas "reset" their bodies and come back from the death all the time
>Or just straight up cloning / recreating body part
>Gods and alien visit Earth every Friday
>BUT CANCER IS ABSOLUTELY UNCUREABLE ABLOOBLOOBLOOBLOO THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO

personally i think everyone walking away from the devastation caused by hulk and other characters in general really takes the impact out of any destruction caused. and its silly that you could pulverize a city block and manage not to harm any one.

He hits it with the back of his blade

more like kenshin perfectly threw the stick of dynamite so that the explosive force would only knock everyone out instead of kill them, but sure

>Ultimate Hulk
>first 100% canon appearance
>Same level of destruction that happens in every 616's Hulk book
>Over 300 killed
Would current Marvel even let Millar do this

m8 if I can buy that guys like Thor can get in to scuffles in crowded city streets with Crusher Creel, or Spider-Man with Sandman, or any other myriad superheroes or superhero teams with any number of supervillains without routinely causing casualties in the crossfire, I can believe the Hulk can do the same with minimal loss of life too. It's just one of those things you have to accept with cape comics.

>pulverizing city blocks
That's excessive power creep that should have never happened to begin with.

HUUULK DIIIN DUUU NUUUUUFFIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!

Hell no. Millar was extremely lucky to be at Marvel when he did. Stuff like what he did in Ultimates or having zombie superheroes would've been shot down by Disney-era Marvel.

what do they gain by curing cancer? let the body run out its own timer and then come back to life. What are you even complaining about? No one was even talking about this.

Actually, was more on point with the idea of the thread;
Everyone else got locked-in on Hulk cause of the pic.

The real reason Black Manta is evil? Crippling autism.

>Sometimes superheroes can carry a plane down to safety
>Other times they can't because they say the plane isn't strong enough and they'll just pierce through the hull
Really jumbles my carrots

superman has tactile telekinesis, it's a canon superpower

Nah, user's referencing the retcon in Bruce Jones' run that Hulk, while he's hulking out and doing Hulk stuff, subconsciously calculates the damage he's doing so that a single life isn't taken as a result of the carnage.

user, I am at my gallery and I am holding your symbol. Will you talk to me?

IH is actually doing some precision smashing these days;
Ewing comes through again.

Gladiator knows how his powers work and has done tones of crazy shit
>Still loses confidence when the plot needs it

I like what I've read of it. I'll catch up sometime.

That turned out to be a lie, didn't it?

SNORT

If super hero comics weren't designed for children first and foremost, moral ambiguity could be a great thing. The Hulk is the one that killed people. Banner never killed anyone. Is it justifiable to punish Banner for shit Hulk did? It takes nothing away from the story and adds a little depth to it, but the problem is that you need more than two braincells to consider it and that's not the audience capes want.

Adults forgive powerful people and governments all the time for brutal and mass killings-
That is, whatever keeps them safe at night.
It's called compartmentalization.

The excuse that he does supermath so he never kills anyone is my favorite dumb bullshit

Okay. So then there's still no good reason for Hulk to have not killed.

>being a destructive force that causes billions in property damage is okay as long as nobody dies
This is a dumb argument and we all know it.

Nope.
Hated the BJ run.

Based retard

that doesn't work when you have a hero who can't control his own actions though. His whole thing is a loss of control, which makes him different from the other examples

He isnt a dc hero so he has never killed anyone
