Robin never killed anyone in New Teen Titans. While some of the characters were mopey, they weren't so overly over-the-top mopey and edgy as in this show. Reminder that the second season is all about Superboy, because of course Geff Johns would, and will probably have Superboy fucking Donna Troy just because. Does this feel like any Teen Titans comic?

This. It's a 7/10 show everyone thought would be 1/10, they clearly changed course halfway through production due to backlash to the point where they just flat out didn't show two episodes, and they set up enough for a much better second season.
