Yes people used to live better back in the day, contrary to popular belief.

>Lady knows them as "Darling" and "Jim Dear" because that's all they ever call each other.
Awww
>The opening scene is based on an actual Christmas where Walt gave his wife a cocker spaniel in the same way
Double awwwww

I feel like Trusty is underappreciated.
That look he gives when Jock tells him he's his sense of smell is intense.
Also are Scotsmen still called Jock?

God damn, they knew how to make backgrounds back then

They had a nip doing them.

Yes my heart goes out to poor Trusty.

I will never be able to draw backgrounds like this and I'm OK with that.

The Emperors New Groove had an amazing sense of scale

There still are.
The ornate whimsical elements are called "gingerbread".

They still exist, especially in the northeast

Visit the historical district of any Suburb on the Eastern Seaboard, you'll find 10

the left's more gingerbread and the right's more queen anne

There's few who can. Even if you've perfected realism you still wouldn't be able to do it because it's a very particular hybrid of realism and bauhaus influence

my hometown is adjacent to a small burb that is literally nothing but houses like this. They call it the Victorian Village. Lot of them around the San Francisco area too, though its mixed in with a lot of different housing styles there due to constant construction.

Oh man I recognize that title. My figure drawing teacher brought in a copy of it, he got it while he was in France. This shit already looks amazing on a computer screen but holy shit on the book its just these god tier glossy prints of the original artwork and designs. They looks absolutely unbelievable.

I don't even care for Sleeping Beauty that much but the art is something that cannot be pissed on. It's a sight to behold.

>The wall carvings are pointing at him
Heh I never noticed that before. That's a great fucking touch.
