What books are currently on hiatus that you most want to return? What're the chances of them coming back? Pic related

Is Über? Haven't seen a new one in months
Wanting a couple more issues of However... followed by a lackluster resolution.
Last I heard the author thinks it might be 2020 by the time the next one comes out.
Ill never be happy until Orc Stain is finished
I'd love for Gotham By Mightnight to be revived.
was this good? Templesmith is my dude. Hows' the writing
I thought it was great, good enough that I bought Ragman just to try and find another book by him. Gotham By Midnight is Jim Corrigan trying to control the both the supernatural aspects of Gotham and Spectre.
Avatar hasn't put much out in the past six months.
How does Avatar even stay in business? They always so super small print runs of already niche books. You have to go through such hoops
Why is Richard Nixon dressed like a nun?
because he likes to party
Manifest Destiny has been on hiatus for so long that I think most people have forgotten it exists.
IT'S NEVER COMING BACK
GET OVER IT
Afterlife with Archie. Jesus Christ, can they just conclude it and be done?
When the hell is mare internum going to finish?
I love these, but have come to accept they'll never be finished.
I'm really hoping Requiem Vampire Knight will get a conclusion. Mills said a new issue would be released last year, but I've heard no news.
There’s not a lot I wouldn’t do to see Bedlam continued. Man, that was a great comic.
Also, is Astro City finally dead? It got horribly preachy and SJW there for a while, up to and including a social justice flashjob monster and then it took a steaming dump on The Nearness of You before fizzling our.
This is dead my man, everything that's drawn but not published will be in an upcoming artbook published by dark horse
If that's Fell it isnt on hiatus it is like for real dead.
>mare internum
The creator wrote it'll finish in 2019, and she still tweets, but not about comics.
pic related is another I'm waiting to see resume:
>relaunching Fall 2018
>still nothing
Oh Shit! Vol6. was released? I've got to see my LCS about this, it should have been on my pull list
Invisible Republic. I know some people find it SJWy for some reason, but I like the epicness of the story.
Is Chilling Adventures of Sabrina still on hiatus, or did they finally admit it's cancelled?
All of Ellis' work from that time... Fell, Desolation Jones, Doktor Sleepless, Listener, etc., was lost in an epic hard drive crash.
It's never coming back. We've got a better chance of Frank Miller and Jim Lee finish ASBAR than we do of seeing Ellis finish any of those books.
>Warren Ellis comic
>Hiatus
It's dead, Jim. Time to move on.
Also his run of "newuniversal" for Marvel.
While I appreciate that it would be very bothersome for him to have had to re-do any and all of that work, and I also appreciate that he always has more books on the go at any time which would make it difficult to find the time to devote to re-doing old work, I can't help but kind of resent this as someone who was buying a few of those books at the time. His decision not to finish any of them amounts to a decision to have had me pay for the first part of several stories with no ending and no resolution.
Like, there's a level of social contract between a consumer and a creator where serialized fiction is concerned. I am willing to trust him enough to pay him each month on the willing assumption that at the end, he will have done his best to reward that earlier devotion with a satisfying resolution. By deciding not to do so, it's a little like getting me to pay for a movie ticket, walk into a movie theatre and watch a film which just stops 44 minutes in, with no continuation planned. And he could have done otherwise by just spending the time and effort at SOME point, you know?
A big part of the reason why I only buy comics in trade paperbacks these days.
Templesmith left after an arc and the book wasn't the same after that.
Gillen just updated his blog about it yesterday;

I thought that wrapped up last year?
>I thought that wrapped up last year?
nope, still on volume 3 (up to issue 15..
Hardman and Bechko wanted to make like 50 issues; but it's been reduced to a planned 30... and it's on hiatus
Ahh. I get the impression Hardman is focusing on WFH stuff at the moment, probably needs the more reliable income now that he's no longer doing conventions either

Came here to post this. Would've made a pretty good tv show if they did it right too. The worst part is that it ended on such a great turn, the "Dexter" moment where his partner discovers what he actually is.
