Daily Corto Maltese Storytime 8

Corto Maltese by Hugo Pratt. Continuing on with the epic length Celtic Tales from the last thread!

Sorry for the sudden break, but I'm back and ready to press on. I should have realized that without context of the comic, Usagi Yojimbo art is just furry art.

So I was completely wrong about The Celts being "epic length" as RCO has it split into 4 parts. Part 2 had these last five pages and then just looped back to the start. Part 4 is full of sketches and notes about locals, natives, and other bits.

So let's just continue on to The Ethiopian, which I am not trusting RCO for having split into 3 parts.

This issue gives us a lot of chances to compare B&W with colorized. Personally, I think the color palette was well chosen for the ink line work in this series.

Thank you for reading, and having the patience to wait out my ban. Well, tonight revealed RCO's terrible organization, I had expected this to go on several more nights, but it looks like tomorrow is the final Corto Maltese story available: The Golden House of Samarkand. Hope to see you there!

And after that, Zot! will begin.

Almost over already? I was really getting into this.
