How would you do it?

How would you do it?

Simple, I don’t

avengers undoing the snap has a side effect and mutants everywhere

Everything is animated, now and forever because live action is always shit.

^This. The MCU has come too far along to allow for Mutants to be there and not have come up at all since Phase 1. And no, Infinity Gauntlet/Quantam Realm time travel nonsense is not a viable excuse. It never will be.

Beyond that, X-men has more than enough to function as it's own stand alone continuity and does not, in any capacity, need to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In truth, it would actually drag the MCU down because every near future with mutants in it always ends in an apocalyptic scenario. It will always end with civilization collapsing in some shape or form. Because of Mutants, everything that the Avengers, Dr. Strange, Spider-man, ect, will all be destroyed and every battle they fought will be in vain.

Mutant gene is activated by high stress scenarios or near death situations, when the snap is reversed the mutation is now active with the large scale paranoia caused by the fact a good chunk of the snapped populous being mutants who can rival big hitters like Thor and captain America

Remove all the current Avengers except Ironman

SJW feminist pussy bro Thor can't even defeat his own villain - Gone
Shit ass no power having Spiderman - Gone
Lame ass who even are you Hulk - Gone

Basically recast most of the characters.

The mutants were there all the time, but after some fucked up shit happens, Xavier has to erase them from the memories of the whole world.

The movie would even start showing quick scenes of them involved in every major MCU event like Sokovia, the battle of New York and the Civil War, before jumping into the main plot

The plot would be basically the X-men vs the Purifiers, in a battle that would end up evolving in a full-scale war of mutants vs humans. In the end, Xavier sees no other way of ending the war (without killing all the humans like Magneto wants) other than wiping the mind of all the humankind and making them forget all about the mutants.

Bump

FF4 is a perfect fit for the MCU, I'm kinda oversaturated on X-men and couldnt care less

Fiege is bringing the Eternals in next phase. There is probably a way to tie that in with the X-Men.

I feel like this is 100% whats going to happen

I wouldn't. X-Men & Mutants are Better at FOX, I would be fine if SONY got them though.

Real question is how much pic related will job

x-men might be seperate contiuity via netflix mcu

or one mutant team, character will stay in the kinoplex while all other teams are for the tv universe.

Time-fuckery in Endgame adjusts the MCU history. Mutants exist and the Fantastic Four are now a thing. You can do it in an after-credits stinger with a news segment about Charles Xavier or something. Easy.

>quantum realm fuckery
>scott lang, hank, hope and janet all remember mutants didn't exist before
>hank: "I'm the smartest man alive with quantum theory I can figure this out!"
>someone else: "Well, you're no Reed Richards, Hank."
>"...WHO?"

Focus all the movies in Wolverine. Magneto, Mystique and the Phoenix in all the movies too, Mystique naked instead of the white dress, Colossus isn't Russian anymore, no more Cyclops, Wolverine will be 6 ft 3 in, and Deadpool will have the mouth sewn, swords that come out of the arms and the power of teleportation, and all of them in black leather

X-Men Grand Design

What happens when they go back in time befor the snap

Cosmic MacGuffins, It's just kids scifi, they don't have to explain a shit lad ....

It would be a sudden thing, seemingly out of nowhere. We would see a young Xavier and Erik, being two different kinds of representatives for mutant kind. Maybe like a MLK v. Malcolm X kind of vibe. Do a trilogy of them with their respective views being the foundation for the first X-Men and Brotherhood. Then, despite all the good the X-Men do for the world, once mutant hate becomes forefront, reveal that the US Government was responsible for the creation of mutants through a Canadian based research team, like in Ultimate. This could lead into a BIG X-Men vs. Avengers set up that doesn't resemble the comics AT ALL, but could lead in nicely to a Utopia setting, where the brotherhood and X-men must learn to live together in their own shitty chunk of the america desert.

From there you could attempt to pull off stuff like Tian, Apocalypse, Phoenix, Sinister, so much, really. Meanwhile, mutants are likely still being prosecuted across the rest of America by sentinels and what have you.

pic semi-unrelated, I just really like goat legs doom

Massive marvel universe with hundreds of heroes but with only wolverine movies

I mean mutants are the point of the experiment that the eternals and deviants are a product of so yeah

The only thing I'd change is get rid of not-MJ.

Agreed. They've laid enough groundwork with the Celestials that they can conceivably introduce mutants, especially after the Eternals movie.

Make Cyclops the forefront of mutants in the MCU on the big screen the way Tony was, and Carol is going to be apparently.

The MCU X-Men team is Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Ice Man, and Angel.

Over @ Hulu give a couple shows to characters who deserve it, like Psylocke, Warpath, Gambit.

Maybe even give Hulu shows to Wolverine and Deadpool.

Mutants already existed but in very low numbers, so old mutants like Xavier, Magneto, Wolverine etc. already existed. However, their existence has been kept mostly secret, with something like Wolverine locked up in a Weapon X facility, Xavier laying low, Magneto being scarlet witch's dad and he didn't perish in the sokovia bombing but was instead in hiding or whatever.

Anyways, the snap being reversed causes a high rise in the mutant population. Turns out every human had a latent x gene on them in some way and the effects of the infinity gems activated them in some people. Teenage cyclops, jean grey, angel and others are seeked by Prof. X to form his first xmen team, their first movie villain is mr sinister or whoever. Call the film something like Uncanny Xmen or some other adjective to differentiate from the fox movies. Also no wolverine until movie 3, just to let someone else be in the spotlight for once

Rated

NDA for everyone involved.

I'm indecisive on the idea that the X-Mansion has the X-Kids as students as that could be wasteful or could be fun.

Yup and since they're intrepid adventurers all you would have to do is say that the got lost in some far off realm(the negative zone) and people slowly forgot about their existence over time. When they come back make it a big fanfare as from what can tell in universe the fantastic four were seen as huge celebrities that were well liked(most of the time).

Saving people from the soul stone required a shit load of really unstable magic, so everyone that was saved has a slight chance they might come out wrong. Played off for laughs at first, suddenly thousands of people have superhero powers. Superheros are already illegal due to the events of Civil War, so governments from across the planet try to stop the new menace before it begins, causing civil unrest.

Mutants always existed but due to some outside force (Phoenix, Apocalypse, Legacy Virus, whatever) there's now a handful of them.

Magneto is depressed due to the death of his kind and no one has heard from him while Xavier and the Xmen are in hiding, protecting the last mutants.

Whatever they do to undo the snap wakes the x gene again and mutants reappear.

Magneto returns to recruit the mutants in his crusade to overturn the humans before "they destroy them again" while the xmen goes out of the shadows to recruit and protect the mutantkind.

>I would be fine if sony got them
Absolute mong.

Wouldn't bother, every movie would be centered around "muh oppression" or something that'll get old by the second movie.
