I like how they call reviews votes of disinterested people.

I like how they say the people who are uninterested are "judging a movie they haven't even seen yet" but the ones who want to see it are perfectly fine and not judging the movie.

>huh, mods deleted my last thread, better just REMAKE IT FOR THE FIFTH TIME

just go get diagnosed for your autism already user, stop making us suffer through your disease.

>Oh no, someone has a different opinion than me. Better insult and censor him!

I guess it's fitting for someone defending Brie Larson.

No wonder RT believes users are confusing "will not watch" votes as reviews when journalists are headlining them as such.

kek
How far are they going to take that damage control?

Probably will forbid user rating after premier because "trolls".

Isn't it more confusing when it says 17k people want to see your movie, but that only makes up 28% of the people who voted? And even that number is inflated.

You're allowed to think the movie is shit, i'm just tired of hearing about it.
You fuckers are worse then pitmommies or first time parents.
>did you know i have a dog!?!?!
>did you know we had a kid!?!?!
>did you know i don't like this movie (that I haven't seen yet.) ?!?!

If that were true, you wouldn't be in this thread, damage control shill.

So close the page...

>I'm allowed to tell you about all the things I hate, but if you tell me what you dislike then you're a shill and should just get out.

I guess it wasn't confusing till "want to see" ratings were high.

We're here to laugh at Captain Fungus.
You're here to tell us how butthurt you are that this thread exists.
Not really the same thing.

so will this one

I'm not arguing if taking down the voting system is right or not, but flagrantly misinforming people with click bait is unquestionably wrong.

You are pursuing us. We are not pursuing you.

That's what I'm saying. Only showing the positive vote tally and nothing else is still misleading. More so, even.

But I thought there's no such thing as bad publicity?

>We’ve found that the 'Want to See' percentage score is often times confused with the 'Audience Score' percentage number.

Well the Yea Forums signposting sure is guilty of that.

Sad thing is I doubt there’s anything worth stealing from this movie to fix comic Carol. Just have her drink again!

>if i stand on a soap box and yell loudly no one is allowed to respond, unless they agree with me, but at the same time i'm mad at this website for doing the same thing.

You're sharing a site with other people faggot, sorry this isn't your safe space

It doesn't make any sense. I see you are not quoting anything but just trying to shut up and insult people.

That's right.
So maybe don't go into a thread complaining that the thread itself exists, while pretending that you really want to talk about something else, despite not going to those other threads instead?

Attached: oh no.png (500x459, 23K)

That's Rotten Tomatoes own fault. The section was called User Reviews and you could leave a Review saying you did or didn't want to see a film. It was stupid anyway.

And site has boards and threads for different threads... Maybe we should ask modes about why we can't have certain relevant thread on a board?

>sour grapes

And irrelevant untill negative feedback. Really makes you think.

>your only allowed to read and post in one thread at a time
Faggot

>can't tell the difference between "want to see" and "review"
I'm surprised you managed to get past the captcha.

Right, and this is clearly a Yea Forums thread as your not talking about the character but instead user review scores on a movie review site.

>have a website where people can mark if they are interested in seeing a movie
>online campaign launched to purposely give this movie a negative/bad review in droves before seeing the actual movie
>remove said system due to people abusing it and inflating negative reviews

>REEEEEEEEE DISNEY CONTROLLS EVERYTHING! ROTTEN TOMATOES ARE MARVEL SHILLS! WHY WOULD THEY REMOVE THE REVIEWS AFTER WE PURPOSELY ABUSED THE SYSTEM?! THIS MOVIE ISGOING TO BOMB PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ME

> false quoting and insulting
It is starting to be straight up spam, you know.

Your statement has no logical bond.

Where was this "campaign" launched? The Russian Intelligence Hacking Agency?

>online campaign launched to purposely give this movie a negative/bad review in droves before seeing the actual movie
>doubt

Now that women won’t be watching the movie they’ll have more time to be having sex with me

> campaign
There is only one campaign. Ad campaign for the movie.

Better take them with you to the cinema to watch Alita.

>no reading comprehension
Nice job missing that that was the whole point of what I said. The section called Reviews had want or don't want to see comments under User Reviews instead of something like "Audience Comments." Which was dishonest of the site, if anything. The website should have put those comments in a different place called "Comments" instead of reviews.
It's a strange thing anyway since most people disinterested in a film just don't think about it and wouldn't leave comments on Rotten Tomatoes about something they have no interest in.

Rename the section?

>yfw everything else

Attached: DUaMZVdU0AAukeg.jpg (594x889, 90K)

Sure, that would make sense. Keep it seperate from the User Reviews section with no overlap (in the audience rating). Call it Comments instead.

>yfw wearing open toed shoes
The F stands for feet.

Guys, when user review open, you have one mission

To give an honest negative or positive review if you've seen the movie

is that fungus under her toenail?

Yes.

give a positive review because I hate troll threads in my cartoons board.

I bet movie will have rotten user score naturally, no "missions" needed.

it's gross, but I would eat it

She doesn't believe in conforming to gender norms and female stereotypes like good hygiene.

>Wheredoyouthinkyouare.png

Do you guys think she is just talking head or believe in things she says?

Not on the Yea Forums or /pol/.

So, you're calling these see/don't see votes "reviews."
Yes, it's an Albany expression.

>doubt

it's inevitable. Until live action movies are banned from Yea Forums this Yea Forums shit will keep happening

I'm not even against movie threads. Like all the threads about her ass being non existent in the costume and her not really looking like carol are all on topic.
Capeshit movies belong on Yea Forums
Bitching about movie review site policies clearly doesn't. Even if that policy was enacted cause of a capeshit movie.

This shit is clearly a Yea Forums thread that they're just spamming anywhere they can as soon as mods delete the old one for being off topic.

RT is owned by WB you giant cuck

Can I see your Mouse tramp stamp?

>SHUT IT DOWN, PART II
And no, capeshit movie and TV shows don't belong here either. But you look like an ass when you want the damage control being called out to be censored.

>stop pointing out my thread is off topic!
FTFY

Know how I can tell you're underage?

This.
Disabling the rating when you know it is being manipulated is the only logical response for a review site.
This isn't a YT video where likes are just direct user feedback, it's a page that deals in review aggregates.
Not to mention "want to see" is a really useless metric. Nobody clicks that for a movie they have no particular interest in.

That's for your mom's eyes only

this

>Guys, when user review open, you have one mission
I love all the threads online where you have people claiming it's just an honest objective movie review that has nothing to do with the actress, what she says, or politics and then elsewhere in the same thread telling everyone to review bomb Captain Marvel and the next star Star Wars movie as much and as soon as they can without watching them because they are "SJW."

Rotten To My Toes.

It's from the same people who said there was "no boycott" or "review bombing" while there were hourly threads with people screencapping the RT audience % dropping.

What if I really just don't like the movie? Is my opinion worthless because it doesn't reflect well on it?

Your opinion is worthless anyway, why do you care so much?

t. Carolfag

Do me a favor. Actually read a comic.

>literally a couple hundred faggots spamming their disinterest
>worthy of taking down a system used by tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands
Why the fuck are mouseshills so fucking defensive all the time?

I have a shelf full of trades, but "OK".

What, you really think that was the work of honest, genuine people concerned about the movie? LMAO right, why didn't they manifest months ago, why precisely last week? Fucking desperate.

Post them.

Who are “they”, user? People who aren’t interested in a shitty movie, or some other boogeyman you’ve invented to cope with the cognitive dissonance that a capeshit movie isn’t universally praised for once?

It’s deliberate miss information

Attached: IMG_20190226_203620_2.jpg (2576x1932, 792K)

It came out reversed for some reason, but there it is. Now what?

They should just replace the "Want to see" percentage with a "want to see" button that tallies and shows the number of people who expressed interest. All the people who go out of their way to click that they don't want to see don't really contribute useful information, because movies only rely on tickets sold.
