Eh, I was kind of ambivalent about that.

On the one hand, I liked the contrast between Ben and Old George, and it sort of felt like they were trying to portray Ben choosing the “right” path, the path that George had forsaken. But given that all prior exposure to Old George had him as mostly hands off, it sort of felt flat. George didn’t feel like the sort of god-emperor that Vilgax was trying to convince Ben to be. George felt more like a no-nonsense soldier who really just wanted to keep his home safe from interlopers, and was fucking done with the assholes who had taken his oath of “keep this planet safe” and twisted it into “kill all aliens”. He didn’t hate aliens. He just wanted them to GTFO of earth.

All the interesting concepts lasted one episode, and the boring stuff kept showing up. Like that fucking girl made out of nanobots from the live action movie showed up twice trying to fuck Ben.

It would probably depend on how complex the problem and solution are.

If Greymatter had to figure out that the the Blue Wire is the right one to cut to save the day and not get vaporized, Ben could probably remember “hey, I gotta cut the blue wire”.

But if he instead had to remember how to re-wire the entire doomsday device, Ben would be totally fucked. He doesn’t have that natural affinity like Grey Matter does

Think of his brain as a computer. When he turns into Gray Matter it gets overclocked and has more RAM allocated to it. This allows him to perform calculations he would never be able to do as a human. Once he turns back his brain clocks back down to normal and doesn't have as much space now. He could still "remember" what he did but wouldn't have the processing power to perform it as a human.

Just do what Ken did and use Gray Matter to unlock it.

What all does it have? All the aliens from all the shows, ultimate modes, is there a time limit, are species from other media in there too like Xenomorphs and Wookies?

I’m actually really liking the fan-theory that humans and osmosians started out as the same species, but that some morally unscrupulous aliens pulled all the powered mutants and put them on planet Osmos, and leaving humans behind. The genes for osmosians/mutants were still on earth, and so you wind up with natural mutants like Kevin and Michael, but every being born on Osmos would have powers.

Well according to the wiki, humans are very adaptive and can adapt to nearly any environment, including some alien ones which is why Ben and the other human characters can just walk on alien planets like it's Earth.
