Would you watch a shonen anime with Diana like MC?
Would you watch a shonen anime with Diana like MC?
read the rules man
sure
I’d watch a Wonder Woman cartoon in general. Just give me some of that Wondy action, DC.
Wonder Woman as a mahou shoujo when?
>Shonen
>Female lead
Uh, that doesn't make sense. I'm not even sarcastic here, the name of the genre literally means boy. I know that technically only means boys are the target audience but how many things targeted towards boys stars a female?
not if she looks like that
Promised Neverland is a popular shonen manga with a female lead. Its not impossible.
Shit that's a girl? I've only read a couple random chapters but I had no idea.
I would, but then again, I'd watch anything that has even the most remote of chances of being better than all the mass-produced weeb trash that's been airing lately.
>jjba pt. 6
Sure it's the most poorly received part, but a female lead to a shonen book isn't unprecedented.
Probably.
It would be shit
Diana is a comic character, I only said if you would watch her story if it look like the average shonen story
>popular
PFFFTTTTT. It's in decline. Just like Toriko but this time the biggest mangaka in Japan isn't supporting it.
If we use more of her underused Rogues Gallery too. Like Hypnota or Blue Snowman?
Heck; play the OP credits song when she takes off her bracers and gives us a sasuga beatdown of Ares or Circe or whoever the first series climax fight is and we’re golden.
Kill La Kill
Diana's a boring character.
Anybody has that official WW manga where it looks like her mom is going to molest her?
This
WW is only boring in the same way comics have been boring since the 90s. The writers take themselves too seriously to do anything fun with them.
So was Light Yagami but Deathnote is still popular.
Depends in who is drawing the manga. People like to see WW as a feminist icon, but the creators was just a pervert who as waifuing his dominatrix bisexual wife.
As long as they don't moe her I'm fine or make her into the usual kid-adult that most Japs illustrate their women.
Only if she was brought into a situation where she coudlnt defeat the psycho enemy thoroughly and had to snap his neck to end it
Depends on how well it's written. I like MHA so my standards aren't that high anyways, just make it better than Naruto.
More than you think, and boys are not inherently aversive to girl-lead or female-dominant shows, that stems more from a marketing perspective.
Shounen also doesn't mean primarily action, there are plenty of shounen that are dramas or romance stories.
Yes
Sure why not, is not like kids i the 90s didn't watch Sailor Moon.
Yeah I would.
A great arc would be like around season 3 or 4 Diana goes powerless and she has to retrain under I-Ching.
Slayer...?
