>Ugly designs
>No creativity to be found
>Universe is cluttered with stupid shit and lore no one cares about
>Cliches left and right

It's pretty shit. 1/10

Attached: ksbdcoverchapter1.jpg (750x1120, 144K)

Nothing tops the ultimate run of fantastic 4.

Adding some to my original post here

>Forced lesbian scenes
>7 ultimate bad guys have been build up but ultimately haven't done jack shit and most of them don't even have personalities
>Boyfriend is a cuck character because its 2019 and it's all about female power

End. 1/10 don't waste your time on this garbage comic.

Killing Joke

>Worst Comics You've Ever Read

Time to remind them.

Attached: 1436762968360.jpg (1200x1200, 390K)

Might as well post the full history while I'm at it.

Attached: 1469437984570.png (1200x1194, 2.56M)

Everything written by Johns, Cates, Ewing, Tomasi, and capeshit written by Aaron, Lemire.

Attached: 1500934664699.png (1300x562, 187K)

Last year was kind of a let down, but I hope we can do better this year.

I should check the date to see when it is this time.

>Unfunnies
Just for being interesting that comic shouldn't be there. I'd rather read it than a lot of stuff being shat out right now.

3 issues of Heroes in Crisis.

I don't know why Girls gets shit on.
It's certainly not a "great" comic, but at least it's so far outside the norm that it's interesting.

No user, no.
It is one of the worst of all time.

Attached: do you speek it.jpg (395x635, 91K)

fuck off, it's a complete travesty

Was there even a 2017? Yea Forums started REALLY going to shit then.

It's wildly inconsistent in tone, the plot is outright nonsensical, literally none of the characters are sympathetic, and for a book about how sexy girls want to take over the planet, it's got some pretty ugly art.

Scott Pilgrim, but mostly because i haven't try hard.

The list has become too bloated.

>all men are bad and will have sex with anything even if it will screw everyone else over

Also, space sperm mating with the Earth.

It's offensively bad, which at least means it did something. Someone thought it was good, someone tried there. There are lazier books coming out weekly more deserving of the title.

>Was there even a 2017?

user....

Attached: Should have seen it coming.png (1024x404, 565K)

>all men are bad and will have sex with anything even if it will screw everyone else over
But it's not "all of them".
And percentage wise, far more people on Yea Forums would doom humanity just to get their dicks wet than the people in the comic.

DKSA was Frank's creative indulgence going full retard. Definitely not the sequel anyone was expecting.

A Storytime of Pain is meant to be an offensively bad book, not just a boring book.
>Someone thought it was good
I sincerely fucking doubt it

>Someone thought it was good, someone tried there
Who?

You say that, but that was the smallest list since the first year.

I survived it, sure. I don't think I'm living anymore though. Sometimes it still wakes me up at night...

Warmachine 2.0 has still yet to be topped.

It's the only comic that caused me physical pain the read because the art hurt my eyes that much.

superman from new 52, god those were lame.

I've never read a single page of that comic, but a friend of mine used to know the creator pretty well and told me he was an insufferable, self-centered shit who couldn't talk about anything but his comic and shilled it constantly like it was the best thing to exist, and always went out of his way to mention it in literally every fucking conversation he had with anyone. Based on this, I'm 99% certain that it's the creator himself who constantly creates general threads for it here, which only makes me cringe harder every time I see one posted.

>Based on this, I'm 99% certain that it's the creator himself who constantly creates general threads for it here
Gee, you think?
Next you're going to tell me that Willis is the one who both makes and spends all day bumping his cringey "Dumbing of Age" threads.

What was that comic where girls having their periods turned them into killer cat monsters and has women rounded up and put into concentration camps and definitely seemed like the creator had a tampon fetish?

I feel like some creators wouldn't even want the Yea Forums audience. I never wagered that faggots like Willis or Jeph would post their own shit here every day, but now that you mention it, I guess they literally don't have anything better to do with their lives.

Maneaters, it's still running. Next issue on Wednesday.

Maneaters.

Also the twist was protagonist WANTED to become a cat so she could kill people.

Storytimes stopped after that.

>ugly designs

Attached: 1549237375659.jpg (1024x1007, 391K)

Scott Pilgrim is only good once you realize that you're not supposed to like Scott

I would agree with you if they made that today, but I cut them some slack for doing it in 2003.

Attached: s-l640.jpg (480x640, 60K)

What a fucking mess.

Attached: jlu.jpg (534x712, 110K)

>I cut them some slack for doing it in 2003.
what the fuck does this even mean

Maybe if it was 1991 I'd consider cutting the art some slack, but the writing on the other hand.....

It means it looks ugly because the technology that made it is probably older than you are.

I don't think you know how bad the early 00s were for comics.

Im pretty sure that they do it to A.) Get THE most negative feedback they possibly can. B.) Make extra money off of people who hate read it. C.) Reinforce what they think the average comic book fan thinks (for good or bad).

>animal man
what they have done to my boy´s costume?

The fact that this worked will never stop making me cringe at how fucking stupid everyone is.

You all feel for it; both sides. How fucking stupid can people be?

Attached: 5232174-1026399205-XUymu.jpg (1988x3056, 1.91M)

You'd be surprised how many art people browsed Yea Forums prior to doing it for a living. Hell; the creator of OK KO was a drawfag before he made cartoons for a living

Didn't he also have Professor X's powers at the time?

That was his dumb nu52 costume.

I think so; i was talking about people in the real world.

Ultimate X-Men Issues 94-97
Say what you will about Ultimate X-Men as a whole, the Banshee arc was awful and came from a guy who never wrote for comics before(He was a TV show writer for Heroes).
>Turns Colossus into some druggie who uses a drug that gave him his super strength
>Jean read his mind to find that out despite Cyclops warning against reading his mind
>Colossus decides to go save his boyfriend from these Canadians (This was the inciting incident)
>Suddenly Nightcrawler, Angel, and Dazzler are druggies. Nightcrawler is now goth, Dazzler can make light projections like Green Lantern, and Angel now has the literal head of an Eagle.
>They fail in saving Colossus' boyfriend
>Now homeless because they spend all of their time trying to get the drug
>Meanwhile Wolverine discovers that he's the source of the drug and finds out the supplier is on the island that Moira runs
>Wolverine thinks Xavier is to blame, but Moira straight up reveals that she's the one who distributed the drug and that she's been a mutant the whole time. Not even Xavier knew despite being married to her years ago
>Wolverine of course murders her
>Moira survives to be recruited by Quicksilver and never seen again.

Based and redpilled.

This comic is really horrible too. It takes place in a world in which the majority of people are supernatural monsters.
>MC's embarrassment of being a werewolf is unexplained. First I assumed its because she doesn't want her girlfriend to find out, but her girlfriend's a werewolf too.
>Side cast is unbearable. The fortune teller barista acts like she saw two people get murdered in cold blood when she foresees the MC breaking up with her girlfriend. Medusa chick is just loud and the vampire twink just complains a lot.
>The villain design was great and menacing until it was revealed he was just some magician with a mask
>For some reason the villain knows who the MC is despite having much more involvement with the happenings of the pony centaur guy

But it has some pros:
>some designs actually range from decent to good
>the minotaur guy is bearable because he's hardly in it and isn't stupid or overly dramatic

Attached: Moonstruck.jpg (1024x683, 148K)

>the anti-crossed
Is that the "industry blames male fans for the sexual assault their editors are committing" arc of Badlands?

I've been lucky enough not to have read anything truly awful, mostly just mediocre stuff like Death Of The Family.
The one I'd qualify as the worst would be Hit-Girl's mini. It's so annoying when the writer himself misses the point of what made the comic worked in the first place.

New 52 Teen Titans. Somehow it was even worse when they relaunched it.

Did the fortune teller girl end up cucking the MC?

*work

90% of the comics where Gog/Magog showed up.
Chromium Man
Obligatory Secret Crisis.
King's Mister Miracle

Death of the Family is a lot better than most of those imo, unless you mean the bajillion mediocre tie-in comics in the bajillion Batman spinoffs. Or how it was edgy in an attempt to be like those popular Nolan Batman movies and out of a misguided belief that being less kid friendly means its a serious work for adults, which is somehow equated with being good, but then there's a plethora of comics which have also fallen into this trap. Anyways I've read plenty of worse comics.

Does it count if I wasn't able to finish the whole thing?
At the time, issue #1 was the worst comic I have ever read, and each issue after that was the newest worst comic I had ever read.

Attached: America Chavez.png (1021x539, 193K)

Why is Ultimatum on there twice?

Attached: Rise_of_Arsenal_1.jpg (600x923, 92K)

Man... That one panel that got posted here all the time... Fuck, I can't imagine reading the whole thing.

>That one panel
They're all "that one panel".
"Holy menstration"?
"Taste my brown fist"?
"Literally me"?

Take a few seconds to upload a pic, post a thread, sit back, let us froth, come back in a few hours and skim some feedback. Or hit the archives if the thread dies. Not a bad system, honestly.

Villains for Hire was worse. It was worse than anything posted in this thread. Holy fuck, it was so bad.

ive read some shit man

Attached: mockingbird 003 pg 011.jpg (1041x1600, 503K)

I haven't read this yet so don't call me a shill but this looks like it might actually be up my alley

Nah they're pretty ugly, on purpose

>Trouble
That would easily be the quiting point if I ever took part in this

Any Kevin Smith Batman comic, with the godawful art from his shitty friend.

Is his Green Arrow actually good?

No, it's not a reference.

God, Millar is beyond awful when he isn't trying to sell movie pitches.

Attached: 972279.jpg (600x935, 157K)

Pleb.

Marvel allows "fuck" in their comics?

I like DK2, it's by no means a "real" batman comic, but viewed as Frank Miller's batman fanfic doodled int he back of his sketchbook, I'm okay with it. I can tell he enjoyed physically drawing it alot, even if the technical drawing is fucked I like the linework

Attached: dk22.jpg (1968x1516, 974K)

Attached: batman - seduction of the gun-00fc.jpg (1024x1562, 464K)

It's double the shit

What if I told you it was an edit?

There was a genuine interest in those comics when they went through awful storylines (Toedad and Tranny)

You've got to make it to the 'sterile' panel. It's pain getting there, though.

Suck my dick, ksbd is good

I dont know if it counts but i read one of the comics made by Glenn Danzigs company Verotik, and it was just awful. I think it was called "Demon Queen" or something.

Attached: 537364.jpg (994x1528, 260K)

The costume is shit but he didn't even wear most it during Lemire's Nu52 run. (Which was the second best Animal Man run behind Morrison's)

I read every single issue. Multiple times, since I was writing summaries for friends. After a while, you just learn to appreciate the insanity. You admire the book for constantly topping itself with each and every issue.

At least the girls are cute.

The balls of the guy ripping on anybody in this series, much less Peter David.

Attached: Marville_(comics)_1-1.jpg (250x382, 22K)

i dont think what hes trying to shove is that stupid, hes playing on fears, and frustrations, and when you're trying to convince someone of something it can certainly get you a long way. i'm not too knowledgeable in the whole refugee/illegal immigrant thing, nor have i read this comic in particular, but i do know several people who live in places like florida/california where it is a prevalent problem who could get riled up by a speech like this.

I'm gonna read Amazon attack, Marville and the Unfunnies. Tell me what kind of ride am I in for?

If you mean the fortune teller girl ends up dating the MC's girlfriend, I dont think so. The MC and her girlfriend are still together in the comics I'm pretty sure. That whole breaking up thing was dealt with in their first arc, and it was way more like a fight than a break up

I actually thought this was a good "rough draft" story for the first arc.

But.... It felt like a bunch of content was cut to condense it to 4 issues or whatever-- the idea of some shithead going around turning cryptids into humans was a pretty fucked up (in a good way) situation and should have created some conflict for the MC werewolf who could definitely question if she'd be better off without her powers.

But it skipped any build up and just showcased "priority" scenes/plot details without enough fleshing out.

Fight Club 2 is a Masterpiece, what's you people's problem?

Never read this but it looks hilarious.

user, everyone already knows about Diesel.

The best/worst kind.

Marvel Villains for Hire or DC Villains for Hire?

Too bad they're almost definitely all lesbians judging from the cover

Baffled bemusement.

I gotta remember to give back this year by doing a storytime of Ruff and Reddy Show.
Also might do the toedad car chase from dumbing of age if single Storylines are allowed.

Attached: 1550669303976.png (613x769, 843K)

Spunky Todd the Psychic Boy.

There for a while I had read every Chuck Palanhiuk book, and even I don't think this.

What?

Admittedly that was a cool idea. The pony centaur turning human was a big surprise to me. The images of the characters separated from their supernatural abilities with the rings had good art desu. But it was weird to me that the villain targeted the MC and not the pony centaur despite the pony centaur having more personal stakes in the conflict.

DKSA is amazing though. Its Silver Age wackiness through the lense of Miller’s gritty 80’s inspired Dark Knight future.

Its like an amazing fever dream.

>I actually liked Red Hulk

its... something

Attached: batbraap.jpg (727x554, 190K)

DKSA was good. OP is fake and gay

FUCK ME! Had this recommended to me, having it being hyped up as the comic version of "Fox Force Five", instead I got this pandering, watered down version of "Fight Club but with Girls" where there's little conflict, nothing happens and zero resolution. The best I can say is the art is completely fine, if average for "Gurls Indie-Comics"

I'm shocked stuff like Wanted, Civil War, Deathmate, Fight Club II, Death of the Family and Red Hulk are on here considering the "level of quality" of the other contenders...

Oh, talking about shitty Batman comics, are we?

Attached: Batman - Digital Justice.jpg (791x1000, 188K)

Polarity by max bemis they tried to do the gerard way thing and ended up with a pretentious garbage fire

Attached: 81AbilgcNcL.jpg (900x1389, 277K)

The way kiwi farms and his friends are praising it as the "revolution of comic" is hilarious to me

>because the art hurt my eyes that much
Austen went to the trouble of inventing an artist pseudonym for it because even HE didn't want to use the pseudonym "Chuck Austen" for the Poser renders he made.

Great premise utterly shitting the bed in execution.

I can't recall but I might have bought a copy of this for $3.

I have no words to describe how shitty, pretentious and sophomoric this is

Attached: 81+Sf+bNqUL.jpg (1491x2292, 342K)

I pretty sure Josh dosen't read comics unless Sonic the Hedgehog is involved

>Not posting the orignal /d/ edition cover
The designs are the only good thing in the comic, it's the writing, characters and story that are garbage.

Attached: 1548809165007.jpg (650x650, 133K)

is RedSkull /ourguy/?

>how shitty, pretentious
It was okay until you realized Vaughan wasn't being ironic at all. And with an on the nose title like Saga I assumed it had to be.
>look at my daddy issues, LOOK AT THEM

He's always been our guy.

The dude’s fun on a podcast, but he’s clearly a bit of a dingbat.

Do webcomics count?

Attached: jacksin.jpg (283x222, 19K)

I actually came around to it HARD recently. Used to not get through the first thirty pages, binged it QnA included the last weeks.

That's not even the worst part of the Ultimate Universe, user.

why the fuck did I read so much of this

It was edgy.

After I had read "Brat Pack", I expected Maximortal to be just as good, and conclude the "Brat Pack" story. However, all it was, was a retelling of the Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster story, but with a bunch of shitposting, occult crap and a magical midget of mass destruction.
It disappointed me, and pissed me off.

Attached: 880337.jpg (600x924, 86K)

Chuck Palanhiuk wrote Fight Club. I had read a lot of his books, because I like his writing style. Regardless, Fight Club 2 is hot garbage.

Oh right
The Jack archives have been taken down, but the creator put them up in a dropbox file if anyone hasn't heard. Sharing because I realized it was surprisingly hard to find the link

whens 2019s WOP?

It's every Wednesday.

I read all of crossed badlands in two days and now I want to die

The only highlight of that was that Lemire clearly knew that it was being cancelled and decided to write as much of a LoSH crossover as he could manage.

Could this art BE any more tumblr?
WHY DO THEY ALL DRAW LIKE THAT

Abaddon made that himself

Remember that K6BD thread awhile back where abaddon posted some sketches and anons were sucking his dick and praising his wannabe moebius comic?

I think they stop doing that after the author said he wants his work to be a feminist icon

It’s really funny. The series was universally loved on Yea Forums and always recommended when someone asked for indie recs until the author decided to redraw literally one panel because he thought it was sexist. Now it’s apparwntly one of the worst comics of all time.

That's because tourists come in to join in on being angry about the comic

Ultimatum
Anything with Miles Morales
This current Heroes in Crisis thing where we're supposed to believe either Harley Quinn or Booster Gold killed the Flash
The middle to end of Ultimate X Men
Every single DC multiverse reboot
Spiderman's Gwen Stacy's hidden children Arc and also where he makes a deal to keep Aunt May alive at the expense of his marriage.

Even disregarding how much of a shameless rip-off of JJBA it is it's just an incoherent and ugly mess.

Attached: 8pyyTTH_d.jpg (640x998, 84K)

That was last month

Some X-Factor where Scott is just mentally reeling from the loss of Jean.

Close second was an Ultimate Rogue where the highlight is she tests a cell phone. At least she was eye candy in that.

>a magical midget of mass destruction.
>a bad thing
Yea Forums hates fun

I always thought Roy looked more like he was laughing maniacally rather than screaming in pain in this cover.

So, from what i gather, people essentially call this comic genious because the guy displays classically feminine traits while the girl displays classically masculine ones, right?

That whole run boiled down to "Only females have thoughts and emotions". It was idiotic.

Retards always think that's empowering.

There were bright spots in the Clone Saga.

OMD was a fucking idiotic mistake.

Oh fuck. I successfully forgot this existed.

Oh shit I just realized what's missing.

The list IS getting kinda bloated but we need to do Incarnate this year. (Incarnate is the one where Gene Simmons' son wants to make a comic so he blatantly steals manga art... oldfags might remember that Moot actually renamed Yea Forums and Yea Forums for a little while in honor of the shitstorm.)

Oh awesome thanks!

I was an edgy little teen when these were coming out and I STILL hated them. Couldn't stop reading though.

The America threads were some of the best of 2017. Even got a letter published.

>Moot actually renamed Yea Forums and Yea Forums for a little while in honor of the shitstorm
With shows like Steven Universe and Star VS Rumiko Takahashi's Lawyers, Yea Forums still needs to be called Plagiarism.

there are objectively worse comics but god did I hate preacher

>Maybe if it was 1991 I'd consider cutting the art some slack, but the writing on the other hand.....

You can make some allowances for the series obviously being cut short and abruptly ending because it was supposed to run for longer than 3 issues, but both of Austen's War Machine MAX books were terribly written.

>No one's posted pic related

Either everyone else was smarter than me and purged this from their brains, or Yea Forums is more plebeian than I thought.

Attached: image.jpg (550x799, 251K)

I just wanted you guys to know that I have thousands of pictures from this site with no organization for any of them except for this one picture that I keep on my desktop so I can instantly assblast any retard that agrees with this when it pops up

Attached: 1526133368767.png (1821x297, 80K)

I'm pretty sure I've seen that image in response to Red Skull.
If I'm not mistaken, it does absolutely nothing to discredit Red Skull, but is just one gigantic ad-hominem going "BUT IT'S RED SKULL, THEREFORE HE IS WRONG!", without the slightest hint of self awareness.
I can't be assed to read your screencapped shitpost again.

It's bad, but nowhere near the worst.

>but come between her and and those same friends?
>she will RIP YOUR THROAT OUT
sixth-grade girls rise up

I kind of liked Incarnate and wanted more by the end of it.

I know I'm alone.

Girls

>t. I don't read comics

>t. I’m bored and want to start shit

If "Girls" is the worst comic you have ever read, then clearly that is the only comic you have ever read in your life.
It's not great, but get your casual ass out of here.

Sure there's technically worse stories in the X-Men's history but taken as a whole thing Battle of the Atom is probably the overall shittiest X-Men story I've ever read. The plot is completely incoherent and predicated on a question that should never have been asked. The plot twists are easy to see coming, it's full of retarded shit (evil amazon Molly) and in the end none of it really matters anyway. The O5 don't go back and instead leave to go with Cyclops. Wolverine gives some lame speech about how Cyclops is totally evil for real. Kitty breaks up with Iceman for daring to question her thus opening up a spot for "icenigga you gay".

The only story that matches it in terms of pure shittery is the Last Will and Testament of Charles Xavier, the Original Sin tie-in that went on like six months longer than the event in question, went completely off the rails and ended in a time reset negating the entire story that like a fucking year was spent on. I hate Bendis' X-Men so much.

Attached: X-Men_Battle_of_the_Atom_Vol_1_1_Textless.jpg (750x1138, 285K)

Ultimateverse as a whole was literally pure unfiltered shit

The only good thing that came out of it was the character art / design - Thor, Nigger Fury...etc

What was on last year's? Things need to be mixed up a little. You can only read Ultimatum and whatever so many times when there's plenty of shitty comics to choose from. I don't think anyone's every done Identity Crisis for instance; or Identity Disc for that matter. Bendis' X-Men run is a prime contender for Weekend of Pain. Lots of other stuff I can't really think of right now. Pretty much that entire run of X-Men from Alan Davis through Claremont's return, Joe Casey and Austen.

I'd also say mix up the entire concept by doing underrated gems to balance things out. Stuff that's maybe not the best thing ever but surprisingly enjoyable.

Yeah, I'm only interested in DoA when it's something abysmally stupid (Toedad, Rapin' Ryan) or best girl Mary is prominent.

Jeff Lemire can't write team books, has proven time and again he can't write team books yet DC and Marvel kept sticking him on team books.

My favorite part of Mockingbird is that the author didn't like that Phantom Rider drugged and raped Bobbi so her idea of fixing it was to have her willingly cheat on Clint, then regret it and murder Phantom Rider and then lie to Clint about being raped and why she killed him destroying their entire marriage in the process because being a lying, cheating, murderous slut is stronger than coming back from being raped or something.

IIRC most of the series is stories she's telling to her therapist or something so I guess the series works if you read it with the mindset that Mockingbird is a habitual liar and delusional or something.

>Star VS Rumiko Takahashi's Lawyers
Explain

I was on a pain binge yesterday and read Man-Eaters online and it honestly reads like Chelsea Cain has a fetish for girls going through puberty, there's so much focus on it even for it being a theme it feels heavy handed, obsessive and like it was written with one hand down her pants
Also the concept is dumb because the girls are literally turning into murderous cougars

Probably bait, but even if he were right, Skull would still be using the people as expendable resources with only his own benefit in mind. He can say whatever he wants to, but he's still killing innocents, others, and anyone who doesn't agree with his worldview, rendering his words
meaningless.

>ad hominem
Based Skull is still right.

This, GOTG, and Iron Man is why I want him off Superman before he stays too long.

>I like his writing style
Why though? His use of minimalism always struck me as a lazy way of getting around writing actual prose. That and using a new line for a new sentence was just a way of padding out his books to 200+ pages.

Imagine how better the story would be if they just turned into lascivious metaphorical cougars, instead.

Attached: 001.jpg (1414x1920, 591K)

How bad was this?

it speak for itself

Attached: 033.jpg (1415x1920, 604K)

jesus christ this shit is so bad

keep in mind, this was actually sold in store. It's not a webcomic.

Attached: 036.jpg (1415x1920, 891K)

The problem is that they focussed on True-Man (Superman in this universe) as a retarded kid, rather than him as an adult meeting up with the characters from Brat Pack.
They used True-Man as a plot device instead of as a character.

It's an obvious one user. That's why nobody posted it.

This could easly be shopped into a Hillary fancomic

This was sold as sequential art and not as a photo collection?

>90% of comics where Gog/Magog showed up
Seconded.
The Kingdom was so bad I literally chunked the book across the room and stopped reading.

Well, so if someone who likes his writing doesn't like Fight Club 2, you can imagine how terrible it must be.

I read it as well and all I saw was the same issue that plagues all his novels: two genres in one story, cleanly bisected at the midpoint. That and FC2 was a sloppy attempt at metafiction.

Yea Forums went to shit in 2013. Last good year was 2010 and last okay year was 2012.

What the heck is this?
Give me a quick rundown of the plot.

This one. Read idecades ago, still remember how much it sucked.
WCA was so bad that even the current series is an improvement.

Attached: 2030503-75.jpg (415x640, 84K)

yep

Tom King's Booster Gold arc on Batman, by God I don't know what the fuck have him the idea to give Booster brain damage

The fucking Scarlet Witch voyeur 3D model porn gives me nightmares

Fucking atrocius. What is it with hacks who can't draw doing this blatant tracing and people selling it?

The problem is idiots think that when someone is right about a problem they should follow their solution even if it's horrible or stupid. I could tell you your house is flooded because of a burst pipe but if I recommended burning it down to evaporate the water you'd call me a retard and tell me to fuck off

I don't speak Frog, so apart from the shit art is it just because this is probably super fucking Liberal or is there more to the shittiness

Attached: 1494130231693.jpg (600x600, 30K)

It works, see Land and Laroca

it's beyond liberal.

Isn't that discount Lucky Luke?

Star VS is a very obvious copypasta of Urusei Yatsura.

This has to be one of the worst Avengers event ever.

Attached: Avengers_The_Crossing_Vol_1_1.jpg (776x1236, 349K)

But there was never an actual lawsuit right?

just replace Virgin with cuck and you get the picture.

So bad they put the next line of comics on hiatus so they can rewrite

Attached: younowremember.png (580x872, 814K)

No. But still, the amount of creators shamelessly stealing ideas from old 80’s/90’s anime and manga is astounding.

Saga isn't bad, it just starts to wear thin after the first year or so. And once you get used to Vaugn's shtick, the whole series starts to become painfully transparent and dull.

I think it's more like,
"All the dumb shits who make "TOP WEBCOMICS YOU MUST READ" have never actually read a webcomic, and do nothing but copy off one another, even though those comics are trash, keep spamming them as "the best webcomics".

>Saga isn't bad
It's fucking terrible. It's pretentious, it's pointlessly edgy, it's chock full of Joss Whedonisms and virtue signaling, the characters are shit, the plot is shit, the dialogue is shit, seriously the characters speak like 12 year olds trying to sound adult, the ideas are shit, the designs are shit, the art is ugly. I rolled my eyes so many times while reading the first two issues that my eyeballs fell out of their sockets. Even that first issue cover with the stronk female character proudly breastfeeding is so on the nose and annoying, I should've taken it as the massive red flag it was but everyone kept praising and praising this abortion of a comic.

>Amazon attack
It's mainly just bafflingly dumb; to the degree that all the dumb blends together into one big forgettable mess.

There are some moments of trying way too hard like having the Amazon's murder kids and a bunch of what I assume is supposed to be critique on Bush at the time.

Only thing I I really retained is Batman saying "Bees, my God."

Read Girls. It's the best.
I made lots of edits during the storytime that are sadly now lost in time, that comic is a goldmine of memes and idiocy.

>Reminder: this book was critically praised at the time of it's release
So people have always been dumb I guess

Are they using caseless ammunition?
It really bothers me that guns go "dakka dakka", but don't vomit hot brass from the side.

And where's all the shrapnel?

>muh 6 billion

I don't think you know what that word means user

redpill me on this because I like Destiny

Attached: zxiaw2dp8xcghdujkqj6.jpg (680x695, 93K)

Girl up front is Ana Bray, one of the most famous Hunters in Destiny lore. In her past life, she was the daughter of generic evil tech company CEO and she made AI Rasputin along with her sister. As a Hunter, she decided that the key to rebuilding humanity was with Rasputin and her past. The Vanguard doesn't want Guardians digging into their past lives so she faked her death and bean research on everything she could find at Rasputin. That's when she met the black girl behind her and they fell in love. This whole storyline and the one before it about Osiris was poorly written, looked like shit and butchered just about everything regarding the lore around these famous Destiny characters. The outlash was so bad that they postponed releasing the next line of comics about Cayde-6 so they could do rewrites

Attached: 1546756877436.jpg (595x557, 66K)

haven't read it but i can offer a prediction:
they butcher the lore
again

That's enjoybly bad though.
Plus the added hilarity of Barracuda banging Trump.

>He doesn't know about Civil War 2
>He doesn't know about Secret Empire

>this book was critically praised at the time of it's release
No, I need proof of this. I NEED PROOF!

>Barracuda banging Trump.
That was a different comic.

user, The Crossing is way worse.

>Universal Grade: 9.8
I know it’s for the book’s physical condition, but still.

Jaw Breakers : Lost Souls is by far THE worst comic book I have ever had the displeasure of reading.

>That was a different comic.
Really?
Could have sworn it was in that one...

>user, The Crossing is way worse.

If it's attempts to revamp Iron Man and Wasp had lasted you might have a point, but everything was back to normal in less than a year. Anything from 1990s Marvel is preferable to Civil War 2 and Secret Empire pushing terrible modern characters and Spencer using a Marvel Event to reeeee about Trump. Even if you agree with him, why pay to read it in a comic? Even when they fail on every level, bad 1990s Marvel comics at least had honest intent of trying to entertain 1990s kids and teens.

>everything about how he's holding that gun in the third panel

Batman: Europa
Bad corporate-backed, yaoi fan fiction, with an absolutely ridiculous (even for a Batman comic) plot in which Batman and Joker travel Europe together which ends with the two swapping bodily fluids.

That said, the only thing I liked were Joker's French fanatical cult made up of "regular" people. It seemed appropriate.

Attached: Batman_Europa_Vol_1-3_Cover-1.jpg (900x1384, 389K)

a single issue of Illuminati where they just talk and talk without even moving, never read another issue after that.
So I still have no idea what happens next.

There's nothing wrong with being inspired by shit but yeah a lot of it is just shamelessly copying surface level things. Meanwhile I'm reading a series called Asebi and Adventurers of Sky World which really gives off the vibe of a late '90s adventure anime or PS1 era JRPG while still being it's own thing.

Attached: 1548005981707.png (1701x1200, 1.78M)

Don’t be mad that your comic is garbage, faggot

I’m high as fuck and I read that as “Batman Panropa” And just about shat mysle.

>Asebi and Adventurers of Sky World
A man of taste

Attached: 1501570299848.png (640x478, 431K)

No one liked that shit comic

DC Wiki said it never happened. You a lying nigger.

It's so good. Not a masterpiece but I like the feeling it gives me and it's just really fun with a great and well-built setting and nice art.

Attached: Zero_Hour_Crisis_in_Time_(collection).jpg (250x389, 72K)

Not to get too Yea Forums if you like that one check out Lindbergh it's quite similar and likewise underrated

All-Star Superman

>Song of Saya has Yea Forums-related materials
What the fuck?

Once it gets past the Armageddon 2001 shit, I thought it was pretty good, but evil Hawk and then evil Hawkdove was a fucking bad idea.
It's a terrible fucking IDW comic that basically shares the name and nothing else.

Attached: low.jpg (200x200, 8K)

The American one.
We haven't hit the point where storytimes of pain start popping up on Yea Forums during the Weekend of Pain.

I doubt it would catch on over there.

I just want one decent comic with him god

Attached: Mr Terrific_55a9443a60d4e6.05776264.jpg (603x810, 421K)

Happy! is worse than most of the Storytime of Pains

Just read comics with Blue Marvel. They are close enough.

You take that back.

Shit taste

It’s not the best, I’ll concede. I would have never given it the time of day if it wasn’t for its fantastic adaptation.

Halo Jones

There used to be streams for awful anime a while ago. Shit like Mars of Destruction, Master of Martial Hearts, and Garzey's Wing. So I'm sure it could catch on if was an annual thing and not on the same days as Yea Forums to keep people from yelling about crossboarding.

Most of what I read now is manga anyway and I'm always looking for more stuff since everything I read is either short completed series or stuff like Kenrantaru Grande Scene that's waiting on scanlations

Well, I didn't like Brat Pack all that much since it seemed as pure bile and anger without anything really interesting to say after the few first pages.
Maximortal, on the other hand, I fucking loved. It was kinda like reading a Morrison comic but funnier and with relevant things to say, instead of new-agey self help tier crap. One of my favorite reads of the year so far.

>I doubt it would catch on over there
That's mostly because manga is too long for that and often only becomes true SoP material one or two dozen volumes in or after a few dozen chapters only in comics is something terrible from issue one and can keeps going like America

True, that is one advantage that western comics have, for long running books there are usually multiple points to jump in or get off.

The Eminem/Punisher comic is so bad it's good, besides I am definitely sure they knew that well when they pitched the idea.

Also
>Eminem seems to be like a true fan of Punisher and actually wants the Netlifx show back

Based.

Ah yes, I remember those streams, it started with stuff like Sailor moon and the 7 balls

I wish I could have been there for those days.

I mean, I streamed Sonic Underground once a week for /ctg/ every week for around a year, but that hardly compares.

its like Ennis and Millar got drunk and had a retarded baby, if it had any other writers name on it than Grant then people would call it out

I miss when he drew fat girls farting.

Does someone have that first page of the new Challengers comic line where a redneck sheriff admits to burning down a Jewish temple, a Muslim mosque, and a black church that somehow magically all existed in the same tiny nowhere town? I swear to God, the pasty white douches who write for Marvel don't actually live in the same world as the rest of us.

Attached: [email protected] (2047x1536, 727K)

>new Challengers
Wasn't the New Challengers DC?

not that user from the gist of it, it sounds like they added unnecessary (and bad) backstory and lore to mysterious characters that didn't need it yeah?
I think that would go poorly no matter how well written it is

Jesus fuck

I don't give a shit if the author is homophobic, for this shitty comic he should never be allowed to work again

Attached: 1139735.jpg (600x931, 121K)

I'm caught up on it. The creator puts out updates every week. It's insane.
But yeah the actual plot is badass, there's extra reading that I find badass. But DESU it's all pretty straightforward.
Lesbian is present. Magic is badass, and action is solid.
Co is literally retarded so just read it yourself and decide. Only took me like two or three days to get through all the pages to the most recent.

>EXPLICIT

Are there some poorly CG'd titties

Basically any western porn comic that tries to be funny

>This

>The creator puts out updates every week. It's insane.

I'd call that more high quality web comic updating.
Insane is putting out a page 5 to 7 days a week.

Eldritch would be putting out over 7 pages a week for 5 years and counting.

Phoenix Max is my choice.

I keep forgetting when the SoP happens. I want to post Batman: City of Light. It's a total trainwreck.

>I keep forgetting when the SoP happens
Looks like it's July 19th-21st this year.

I need to start working on promotional images again.

Thanks, friend. I'll put it in my calendar.

I remember there's a storytime of pain of
this one It's basically a cliche as fuck "subversive fairytale" that doesn't bring anything new to the table

Attached: 34466854._UY2152_SS2152_.jpg (2152x2152, 300K)

Eh good enough.
I'll make more as we get closer.

Attached: year 5.png (994x1528, 1.05M)

It was ok from what I read, but when youre just switching up the names of eastern mythology shit gets boring fast.

Reminds me, I remember when Rat Queens would get storytimed and god it was the most dull, cringey shit I've ever seen. I remember someone describing it once as a D&D campaign as written by That Guy.

Has someone posted that vivziepop comic about a girl ending up in "hell" but some demons are animals and there's that deer that's the antichrist and is edgier than gaemon's katana if it was made of bismuth?

>I miss when he drew fat girls farting.
Haha that sounds hilarious. Do you have a link haha?

You mean zoophobia? I don't remember a storytime of it and the site for that webcomic is gone

Did anyone post the blatant jojo rip off yet?

Diesel has been posted like 5 times dude

Aye. Cain's fixation on little girls and their uteral linings was extremely off-putting.
Considering the quality of the writing, I don't think making it lewd would do anything to keep it from being a dumpster fire. Hell, it'd probably be worse, because then Chelsea could stop the pretext and have bloody period sex on full display.

Ultimate End, and fucking hell, I dont give a fuck about ultimateverse, it is horrid but imagine for someone who does and read that shit when it was released.

Attached: Batman 663 - Cover.jpg (400x629, 53K)

Attached: 250px-Marvel_Divas_1.jpg (250x379, 41K)

It was Mark Waid's Champions, not DC's Challengers. The tiny redneck town also had a gay community building.

This is just not true. People became increasingly dissatisfied as the quality degraded with every chapter. The redraw thing was just the last straw.

>Guy promises god he will be a virgin untill marriage.
>Becomes insta celebrity.
>Fiancee gets offed.
>He tries to take revenge and get laid for the next 30 issues.

Not my worst but i gained nothing from reading this

Nah it is Punisher Max Barracuda arc

>Basically any western porn comic
FTFY, to many of them are too many pages of exposition, spend too long on foreplay and have shit angles for actual sex or even lack of drawn penetration, very short sex scenes and often no cum shot. Or god forbid they ape hentai especially with certain phrases and mannerisms that only work with that level of separation a language barrier produces

>user, The Crossing is way worse.

Yeah, if you're stuck with a grudge against the 90's. I grew up in the 90's, thought The Crossing was a fucking awful comic... and Civil War 2 was way worse of a comic. At least The Crossing had some sort of competency at trying to be exciting even if it was fucking stupid. CW2 was stupid and boring.

Vampirella

Thanks for posting this. I've seen the school shooting part reposted over the years, but this is the first time I'm actually going through the series. Fucked up thing is, I'm actually kind of finding it entertaining to read besides the edge.

is my least favorite Yea Forums comic off the top of my head though. It ended up being a lot more boring than I thought it was going to be, and it fails on the edgy front; the cover art for the issues is a trick because there is a lack of gore in the actual series other than one or two scenes and the really fucking bland interior art robs any impact any of it might have had. It also lacks the hilariously awful schlock Millar's other work Wanted had with stuff like Shithead, "This is my face while i'm fucking you in the ass," and Mr. Rictus in general. The only value in it is reading about how Millar tried to explain the series to his wife; "The crow was sucking cock for a REASON"

>implying

My apologies. It was, indeed, Champions. Mark Waid is just a treasure these days, isn't he? A small redneck town complete with a Muslim mosque, a full-blown homeless encampment, an open and out gay club, a Jewish temple, a black church, and apparently more on this long, long list.

I swear to God, if any of these writers ever stepped outside the state line of either New York or California, they'd go up in flames like a demon walking into a church.

Attached: RCO006_w_1485965793.jpg (1008x1600, 499K)

Millar is also one of my favorite authors when he's actually trying to be a good writer. Huck was a ton of fun, and Starlight actually made me tear up in a few places. That contrasting panel between young Duke and old Duke was perfect and hit hard.

Why would they be lost to time? There are multiple archive sites.

None of them go back to 2015

Uh, huh, I guess. It's still a big effort to put something out regularly imo

Yes thank you. These Morrison issues around the same time Dini was writing Detective were fucking awful.

>>will stab her friends in the back, spread rumors, taunt, and yell and accuse.
