Tom King’s Vision

King's Vision probably reads better the less you know about him. The more you know, the more his portrayal of Vision seems off. It's the only modern comic with him that's worth reading, though.

After John Byrne destroyed Vision in the late 1980s, these stories covered his road back to normal:

His scenes when he returns to the Avengers in the 1995 Avengers: The Crossing special are also worth reading for fans, even if you avoid the rest of the event.

Geoff Johns' Avengers never has a story focused on him, but he has moments across the run, and a miniseries:

Avengers Icons: The Vision #1-4

After spending years dead, he comes back angrier, and we got these stories that never led to anything more:

Yeah Vision only works if you haven't already read Batman, Omega Men, HiC, and Mister Miracle. Going back Vision is the same thing as his Omega Men and Mister Miracle really. Going in blind was a treat though!

I meant the less you know about Vision, but yes, also true for "the less of King's work you've read".

Has a huge Vision fan these are good recs, even if Absolute Vision is missing.

If only Jemas hadn't driven Johns away from Marvel, and he'd done more work on Vision and Wanda, they could have been spared everything since.
