Why do people who insist on memetic purity not even get the origins right?
Virgin existed before Chad, and was aimed at nailing as much of Yea Forums's demographic which involves a lot of extremely common self-conscientious traits (listening to music in-ear in public, not taking the urinal immediately next to someone if there is another free).
Chad was the response, demonstrating that the contrary was often ridiculously hilarious and indeed, Chad-like behavior in that only someone who gives less than nothing as to what other people think could perform these actions.
Example:
