It was perfectly alright. Finnish dubs were trash, of course (we can't act, lol), but the English one sounds quite good.

The characters actually behave more like the comic versions, unlike in the anime. A massive plus, if you ask me. If you don't count the banned episodes and a few specific scenes, the anime was always a bit too "nice" and didn't understand Tove's mindset.
The animation and action in general is a bit sluggish but the environments looks stellar. Not even a frame rate issue, everything just moves so slow and puppet-like.
The modern-ish music in the show however, is extremely noticeable and a complete mismatch.

All in all, I can feel something. I wish I had an easier access to the damn English version, however. I don't believe our national streaming service provides anything but the damn Finnish dub.

youtube-dl is superior for downloading anything except unusual resolutions (like 300p or 280p).

I know only 1 word in there: saari (island).

youtube-dl is good when you can point it directly on the page on fire it up, but when you need to do manual stuff (like looking up kaltura id), you might as well use ffmpeg. Also, youtube-dl often breaks for certain sites because they change technical design

I don't know any Finnish, but the Moomin family sound kinda off to me too. Little My grew on me though, it's pretty cool to see this kind of character without an annoying squeaky voice.

I don't know why they even bothered with mouths, the animation still works perfectly well if you pretend they don't exist.

Watching the behind the scenes document, they apparently had difficulties deciding the placement of the mouths.

As for the voices, I could notice the lipsynching being off in few subtle places, like the animation was made with English in mind first and Finnish was dubbed later.

You should consider reading the books.
