You know what would fix her deafness?

Sign language is obviously standard training in her military, something thats incredibly useful for several reasons given that it allows them to create a communication barrier in a world with only one language. it also must be nice being able to communicate in a way that elves are incapable of replicating due to having four fingers.

Are elves all really shitty yakuza

That's gonna make a japanese dub uncomfortable

>being able to communicate in a way that elves are incapable of replicating due to having four fingers.
This needs to be gag when the humans have a sort of battlefield negatiation with the elves.

Viren did nothing wrong

I wonder, was he possessed by Aaravos when he killed those guards? His eyes went all glowy and he used signs Aaravos provided for him through the mirror. I also remember something about star magic posted here involving astral projection, and that it's very rare even among elves.

>no mention of sollum/callren
Does this mean that I don't mention it enough or that other people ship it too?

not to be a killjoy, but there is a reason deaf people aren't allowed in the military.

Shit up you bigot

She's the late queen's sister, a noble with ties to royalty. In a feudal system, they can do pretty much whatever they want. Besides, it's not like she'd listen if someone told her that.

not being able to tell someone to duck without direct LOS is a pretty big risk tho

She is a high-ranking officer and she comes with personal translator well capable of pointing and shouting.
As a rank-and-file soldier she'd be no good. But she would lead armies from a command tent in battles.
Her commands would be spread via runner/horns/flags, anyway.

I dunno, he got kinda spergy, But he cute, no wonder Aaravos wanted to put his bug inside him.

That... is actually pretty smart.

I know one of the writers specifically said she was deaf, but I swear she's reacted to sound more than a few times during this show. Would make more sense if she was just mute. Melee combat would be a bitch if you couldn't hear incoming opponents.

>that time they forced Bob the Builder to edit in a fifth finger because they feared Jap children would think he ran afoul of a Yakuza clan

Did they do that for Gravity Falls?

More like Aaravos was channeling his magic through Viren. Considering he's implied to be one of if not the most powerful mage ever, something like that was child's play to him

If she's been deaf her whole life she probably trained specifically to react to the slightest vibration or air current. Without the dead sound neurons clogging up signals to her brain, she probably has better senses elsewhere

Probably a combo of a) Bob is pretty much the only human character on his show and b) it's aimed at much younger children with much more runaway imaginations

Why would Viren trust his human plan to an elf sorserer?

Literally no other options

This is Fire Emblem: The Show. Royals do what the fuck they want.

I guess its a combination of curiosity and desperation. He wanted to know about the contents of the mirror and was fine with torturing an elf and experimenting on himself just to find out what it did.

Now he knows Aaravos he probably wants to find out more about him and what he knows. The rune he was shown early on was probably the deciding factor to listen to what he has to say, if starman can show a mage new spells they'd probably like to see what he can do.

He tried appealing to the human kings and queens and got his plans shut down by a child. Two of the other high ranking people in Katolis, Amaya, and maybe the hooded woman if she is high ranking, are actively suspicious of him. The only person outside of his kids who is willing to listen capable of helping is Aaravos.

the shipping and OCs are gonna make the fandom an unbearable mess, aren't they
>implying it's not already done

so far it seems under controll, as long as the show doesnt pander to shippers it should be all right

>doesnt pander to shippers
seaon two and so far:
>almost kiss
>almost love confession
>growing harem of bitches for the main character

okay, as long as it wont pander to any gay shippers, it should be fine

Anyone who doesn't ship Zalylum is a fucking retard transphobe.

If the writers gave Callum a harem under the guise of supporting polyamorous relationships I'd have a hearty chuckle.

>Zalylum

Fuck off back to /pol/
