Should've started with this
Did you morons start reading comic books in 2012?
Well, yeah, if i was over 20 and still reading comic books i'd feel like a man child retard.
>concerned about others judging his personal activities
Boy, your 20s about to suck
Why bother? It didn't stop Marvel shitposting Wolverine everywhere.
you mean _lol_ thread right?
>Doom not settling for being the rebound.
Good for him.
Here's another X-man who died only to be replaced by an alternate universe counterpart
It was a good death.
Until it wasn't.
>suffocating in virtually indestructible shell
Ugh
No it wasn't

The metal that came into contact with the claws should've melded together making the claws useless even when he got out but ok.
This is garbage
This is good.
Or, you know, his whole goddamn skeleton.
Goon has its moments. Unfortunately those moments come very very often.
I think Jean has the longest running death record of any X-Men character until last year.
Maybe Forge too. Can't remember if he's dead or everyone forgot him
he was in ivx "recently"
Fucking Quesada over Marvel. Look at that shitty art, and also making him look like an old Buick hood ornament.
Kurt got rescued from heaven, he is still 616 Nightcrawler
Every time I think I'm not going to cry, I fucking lose at the last second. fucking bendis, that bald stupid bendis
X-Men along with Spider-Man are winners in regards to feelsy moments
What the hell is this? It's hilarious.
How did he get better from this?
The Boys.
Basically superheroes are a by-product of military funding gone awry so they get contracted out by a corporation to give the illusion of a comic book universe. Hughie joins The Boys who are technically an unlicensed check on the superheroes to not do anything like that or else.
That finale was good.
I think it's weird that she's a small child with what appears to be hipster ear gauges. I thought most little girls weren't allowed to get their ears pierced until their big enough that their parents can't carry them around? Ah, what do I know, though?
No X-men death is ever sad because none of them ever stay dead.
What happened to the T1000?
God I hope this makes it into the show somehow
And they never came back to life either.
How the hell did this gives you feels?
Weren't there like, 8 separate Wolverines running around at the same time?
Not even to mention the fact that not only is this capeshit, but it's X-man capeshit, where "death" means hilariously less than even other forms of capeshit, which is a low bar to trip over.
The end of Hitman was a kick in the teeth. Ringo's death also got me good.
>Sad
It was funny and i'm pretty sure it was meant to be that way
Hitman in general was a fucking kick to the teeth. I think it's just something about a cast of fun and lovable characters being put through the most tragic shit imaginable.
Two stories break my heart.
Bitches love Spider-man when she finds peter in the science lab and dwarves part 1
>illyana and jubilee still haven't interacted in the decade since Illyana's return
That's the head of an adult in the body of a kid. That artist can't draw children.
AoA Nightcrawler never replaced him. He was just in X-Factor.
Girls get their ears done when they’re toddlers. Especially black girls
The child has an adult's head because the artist has decided that they won't use reference photos.
I knew this was coming but it still fucking hurt.
this got me recently
I hope so too
A good well-written comic about heroes dealing with horrific PTSD would make for a great read. Too bad there isn't one.
Edgy
>It turns out they are just butthurt chicken alien
But y tho

I don't know why, but this random one-off crossover event tie-in strikes a major chord with me. Maybe it's because it avoids a simplistic moral of "pro-war" or "anti-war" and instead just lays it out starkly: war indeed is hell. Even if your cause is completely just, even if the battle is completely necessary, you're still going to have people getting maimed and/or dying, often in the most frustratingly banal way possible. The Guardian's storyline is especially brutal with its depiction of war's cyclical meat-grinder nature.
No idea, and I also don't know why they were welcomed by Earth's population as gods after murdering hundreds of millions of people. Tony had the right idea.
pete's being kind of a dick tbqh
The only good comic Zen Pencils has ever done.
Can someone please help me find that comic strip of Dr Doom on a date and then sperging out about how no woman is worthy of him? Google is producing nothing as I don't know what issue to search for
I'm an idiot, that's not Zen Pencils. This one is.
his girlfriend JUST died and MJ was flighty thot back then
Some black woman with the power to resurrect people brought him back. He was like her mindless soldier until his healing factor kicked in. It also turns out the Wolverine we saw in Legacy and in Infinity War was a Phoenix possessed Logan from the future.
That's depressing that he died by a Nimrod Sentinel going through him since he survived that shit back in the older stories in the late 80's, right before the Mutant Massacre. Good to know he's not dead anymore.
fuck man
No, it's Superman.
Frank...
what's this from?
A comic book.
Felt great. Wolverine is an overrated character who's fans are manlets
>Superman always saves Lois Lane
Fucking every time
Punisher Armory No. 2
Nyuk nyuk nyuk
Thank you
>rescued from heaven
This sounds so fucked
It is. He came back because his dad was launching an attack on both Earth and heaven or something, and in the process he sacrificed his own soul for another earthly body, so right now he's effectively locked out of the afterlife forever. You'd think being a devout Catholic and all this would be the cause of a major existential crisis for him, but nope, it pretty much just hasn't been addressed at all. And in the meantime X-writers have been using him as a background character in more recycled anti-mutant hate crime stories.
Marvel, specifically the X-men, have gotten worse and worse at handling the whole death/resurrection thing over the years. They really just need to stop doing it altogether, it's just become so much of a fucking mess at this point that it's actively hurting their stories and characters.
Lost
>almost every single character who died in this thread either came back to life or was some kind of clone
The only thing I'm feeling is relief that I never got emotionally invested in shitty ass Marvel and DC comics.
A transformer records every transformers' death, builds statue of whoever was responsible for causing that death, and plants a blue flower that contains a little bit of the deceased transformers' spark(soul). This is Megatron's statue.
Did they ever explain the deal with the hot claws? He's not Phoenix Bub, and he was revived by the zombie creating chick's power, so what was going on with the claws?
>Feels
>literally nobody thought it would stick for more than a few years
Brought him back basically at the 4 year mark.
I'm more likely to feel feels from them killing the concept of a character than killing the character itself. Character assassinations last far longer than deaths in comics.
Like remember that one time it was revealed Wolverine just randomly murdered a SHIELD doctor for no reason?
J'onn lived a hard life
Can he see through the metal?
>Character assassinations last far longer than deaths in comics.
This, I always knew Ted Kord will live again, but I can't stand what they suddenly did to Max Lord, he was such an interesting and complicated character in the 80s and 90s
super trash
Who names their kid "sweetie"?
