I predict "Kraven die at the end", so another mistake will be fixed.

>no more Bachalo
bummer

So why did the HE give Kraven what he wanted instead of just killing him? It makes no sense that Kraven could intimidate the HE, he's way out of his weight class, the dude has held his own against Thor and entire teams of Avengers.

They didn't think this shit through did you read the same pages I did? He's a plot device.

I've been really enjoying this. Any other post-Stan Lee runs I should be reading? Anyone got links to JMS' run? Been meaning to get to th at.

That "popularity/iconic statut = power" bullshit is getting worse every decade
Especially with some writers. And with street characters deemed as "badass". Remember Captain MAGA easily killing Red Ghost's super apes?

To Slotts credit Kraven coming back to life was an editorial decision. He didn't want that to happen and deliberately didn't use Kraven in any of the spider books for the rest of his run in protest.
In retrospect, I admire that but it just makes the Grim hunt even more of a pathetic story because we didn't get decent fucking follow up on it for 10 fucking years.

Look at all those Invincibles.

Gerry Conway run
Roger Stern run
Death of Jean Dewolff
The Commuter Commeth
Kraven's Last Hunt (This is essential)
Michelnie/McFarlane's run
Spider-Man's tangled web
Marvel Knights: Spider-Man
Paul Jenkin's Peter Parker: Spider-Man run
Spider-Man: Blue
Spider-Man: Sweet Charity (for shit and giggles)

Kind of a side note but I read Roger Stern's Strange before I read his spidey and the whole time I was thinking "damn he would be much better on spider-man"

I really do not like Ryans art. Somehow it worked better on Invisible
but this is ugly

Don't worry, Humbreto Ramos is coming back to do the next five issues.

the thing is Ryan can draw some nice action so him drawing the set up and the aftermath while Ramos gets to do all the action is just terrible planning and waste of potential.
Ramos should have drawn the issues that focus on talking since he draws better faces and Ryan should have gotten all the parts where peter is in the suit fighting guys

Why are these new spidey comics much easier and fluent to read than those old ones from 70s and shit.
The art is good but som much uneeded text and paragraphs explaining basic things.

I'm glad these regular superheroes don't have long ass graphic novel like text included. Vivid and short is how comics should be..

Yikes.

>not enjoying both styles equally
I like narration boxes but I don’t mind the lack of them either, as long as everything else is clear

It was a different time.

Black Cat is seeing Fred Myers.
Screencap this post. She is also worried that she might give away Peter's identity calling both his names while Boomer gives her the Boomerang.

>when you realize that for all his great qualities and proportional sexuality of a spider, Peter is really not as dependable as some of his villains

>Spider-Man: Clone Wars

>SURPRISE!

I forget how great Superior Foes was.

> kraven kills his kids
> the motherfucking HIGH EVOLUTIONARY jobs to kraven
fuck this

>wig reveals white hair
Wasn't she a blonde wearing a wig?

>we didn't get decent fucking follow up on it for 10 fucking years.
The stuff with him and Kaine in Scarlet Spider was good though.

No?

Ana vs. Kaine was pretty intense but fuck me, Scarlet Spider came out 7 years ago.

>kraven kills his kids
How new are you?

Please, he doesn't have the personality for that. He'd take her strap-on and thank her for it.

it was a shitty ending and spencer could have easily retconned it

Yeah, because that's what Big Two comics need more of, pissy writers who'd rather fuck with the past than make the best of the material they were given.

It's definitely what Spider-man needed. Too bad Spencer is not that great either.

The only thing good he did was the Superior Foes, most likely because Lieber is a good artist with his own unique charm.

Dumb capetards enabling lazy writing

Did you expect Spencer to undo 10+ years worth of damage in 16 chapters?

I expect it to go somewhere besides undoing Slott's damage at a terrible pace.
