Batman Hate Thread

Goddamn, how much i hate Batman. Anyone else here hate Batman? Lets hate Batman together.

Why do you hate Batman?

This is probably some blackgate inmate who stole a guards cell phone. I hope he hurt you good

What's there not to hate about the cancer that has been eating DC alive?

He now shits with little effort.

Batman's cool. OP is obviously one of his villains. ITT we figure out who OP really is.

If i was a Justice League member I would hate Batman with a passion. The dude has no powers and keeps files on how to kill everyone and for some reason reason deserves the most respect.

Killer Cock, the lesser known costumed Gotham rapist. He kind of looks like Commissioner Gordon a bit for some reason.

>top 1%er spends all night beating up the bottom 99%
Bruce Wayne is the real monster.

This. I don’t dislike Batman per se. but I hate what the fanboy writers of his (spurred on by his equally obnoxious) have made the character become within DCs publishing. Their zeal to to put no effort and lay on Batman laurels for the past 3 decades have made the rest of DC a shriveled husk ultimately jobbed characters for Batman’s benefit.

Even an offhand slap should tear Batman's head off, but didn't Ivy make Superman haul off and straight up sock him with a straight hook?

As soon as he stops selling they'll stop pushing him. He's a white male, they're not hitting a demographic with him.

There are characters being pushed far beyond their sales and have far fewer good books. Odd to pick Batman who's just a victim of success.

>Joker loves Batman too much to do it
>Penguin and the al Ghuls are too sophisticated for Yea Forums
>Bane, Croc and Scarecrow probably don't even own a computer
>Two-Face is of two minds about Batman
>Mr.Freeze doesn't care

It's definitely The Riddler

Marvel doesn’t seem to have a problem spreading the love even though Spidey is their big seller.

Maybe it’s because Marvel cares more about the concept of a universe with different characters with different stories, whereas DC is too busy making their massive multiverse as small as possible by making it all about one brooding fucker.

I know plenty of Marvel fans whose favorite character can be any number of their cast: Iron Man, Spider-Man, Daredevil. DC fans are ALL basically Batman fans first and tolerate other characters.

Batman outsells Spider-Man about four times over. DC are busy selling the most comics possible right now. Batman sells those comics. Could they make more money spreading exposure? Probably, in the long run. They could also make more money just writing better comics but we still get shit like Doomsday Clock, Heroes in Crisis, Naomi, Female Furies etc.

So DC making less shit Batman books doesn't mean there'll any more good books. And those books without Batman won't sell anywhere near as well.

I was thinking the same thing. Solomon Grundy's fingers are huge, so no good. Mad Hatter doesn't fit either. Professor Pyg is a no. It HAS to be the Riddler.

I bet it's just Jason Todd.

Fun fact: the very first company that makes up the current DC Comics was National Comics Publications, who soon absorbed an affiliate named All-American Publications in 1944. All-American published characters like Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, The Atom, and Hawkman. National only had two major superheroes to their name, plus a sidekick. Their identity should be obvious, and they remain the characters the company is most protective of to this day.

I don't HATE Batman but I do think he's pretty overrated and I've hated how in the past, WB would only focus on Batman to the detriment of the rest of the DCU. Seriously, when it seems like they dog even SUPERMAN in favor of Batman, you know there's a problem there. You pretty much have to thank Batman's popularity along with DC and WB executives who think only Batman is capable of selling as to why Batman is near constantly shoved down everyone's throats.

>t. someone bitter that we got like, 5 Batman cartoons in the past 20 years, but only one Superman cartoon, only 3 JL cartoons, only one GL cartoon, and no WW, Flash, or Aquaman cartoons
>not to mention the animated movies which are 90% Batman

I'm thinking it's Victor Zsasz.
Batman doesn't play with him as much as the Riddler, Joker etc.
He just wants a friend to stop himself from cutting.
Poor Zsasz.
I hope he finds help.

Yea but there are tons of animated DC movies containing all of these characters.
It sucks, but I can''t blame a company for sticking with what's profitable.
Blame capitalism?

Is Victor Zsasz related to Victor Szasz?

Hmmmm it could be an anagram
Maybe we're dealing with the riddler after all.
But why spell the name differently?
I need to hit up the batcomputer for this one.
Maybe I'll find some help on batgoogle.com

They don't make those cartoons because there's little guarantee that they will sell. Hell, even the Batman cartoon was only made after the success of that movie, and that movie was only made because of the success of the old TV show, and that TV show was only made because of drugs. Not to mention that they've done several things with Superman for the same reasons. The cartoon was made because of the success of the Batman cartoon and old Superman movies, the Superman movies was made because of the success of the old TV shows, and the TV shows was made because of the success of the old radio shows. But in the case of Superman they kept getting diminished returns, while Batman kept on selling. So that made them scared to try anything with Superman. They'd still do it, but every time Superman doesn't sell well, they throw Batman at it. Man of Steel and Batman v Superman is a sign of this.

So the answer isn't Batman, but rather WB being too scared and reactive.

I legitimately thought this was a panel from a comic made by Poser. Fucking Janin.

I hate modern Batman, but I don't dislike him as a character or concept, because he's been done right in the past.
If the entire Batman mythos went back to the way it was in the silver age and the live action show though, then I can guarantee nearly all of the problems it has will disappear.

I used to really love Batman. But honestly, now I'm kind of bored of him. He's the same edgy tryhard now that he always was, and he is kind of a Gary Stue even though everyone likes shitting on Superman for being OP. Everybody loves sucking Batman's dick though. I actually way prefer the Robin's now.

OP is obviously Catwoman

>Goddamn, how much i hate Batman. Anyone else here hate Batman? Lets hate Batman together.
oh Clark.

He is Batman's true archnemesis, Superman.

This. The Robins are the best part of the Batman franchise.

Wanna know how i know that you're all gay?

Orca is at the public library, shitposting on Yea Forums.

Nah, Bane has a computer and goes on Yea Forums pretty often.

>Read Batman books before 2008.
>Damn this is some really good stuff. I can see the appeal and why people like him.
>Read Batman books after 2008.
>Damn, this isn't as good as the old stuff, but I can see why people still enjoy him, despite all this power wanking.
>Read Batman books after Court of Owls
>Absolutely Disgusting.

But Batman saved the entire industry. You idiot zoomers don't even realize that all comics were reserved for children, nerds and social outcasts. Then a guy named Tim Burton made a little movie called Batman and in just a few weeks everyone loved comic books.

That Halloween, everyone was dressed like Batman, and it was in unironic admiration. Let's see Superman do that.

Superman was insanely popular when he died by the hands of Doomsday. Bunch of new-station, journals, and people throughout the world mourned his death as if he was an actual person. The issues of the Death of Superman arc sold like hotcakes. It was one of the most high selling arcs ever.

Lets see people care that much about Batman death.

This

Odds are op is a butthurt superfag mad his favorite doesn't get the same attention

Leave for it the Batfag to start complaining about Superman.

Fock Batman

Amirite

>>t. someone bitter that we got like, 5 Batman cartoons in the past 20 years, but only one Superman cartoon, only 3 JL cartoons, only one GL cartoon, and no WW, Flash, or Aquaman cartoons
>>not to mention the animated movies which are 90% Batman

that wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the dcau batman getting SO much more attention than other versions

You suck

I kind of prefer the detective type stories. Bit tired of anything that involves him countering every other character in the universe because he is the goddamn batman.

Because those are the fags who most often make threads whining about batman

you deserve Bendis Superfags.

>not to mention the animated movies which are 90% Batman
Those are all JL focused. Justice League: War, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, Justice League vs Teen Titans, Justice League Dark, Death of Superman, The Reign of the Supermen. Batman is a minimal part of them because he's a member of the team.

The only good thing Slade ever did was cucking this self-righteous idiot

>The only good thing Slade ever did was cucking this self-righteous idiot
and raping kids

I think he's talking about the DCAU related movies, that were all about Batman. Like Heart of Ice.

Wtf I love Batman now.

Wasn't Death of Superman success driven by collectors rushing to buy the issues because they thought the issues showing the death of Superman would be valuable in the future? That is, until DC brought Superman back to life with Reign of the Supermen and made everyone feel mad because now all those issues are meaningless.

>and he is kind of a Gary Stue even though everyone likes shitting on Superman for being OP.
This is the most annoying shit and everyone is so oblivious to it despite Superman having some rogues who provide a physical challenge to him or having to deal with shit like cosmic aliens or multiversal entities who could actually kill him like every other Tuesday. There's like maybe 2 Batman rogues who are a physical threat to Batman and even when he does go against someone more powerful than him, you know he's going to pull out some Anti-Conflict Bullshit Spray out of his belt or have some complicated keikaku spinning in his head 5 months before he even met guy currently trying to put his dick into Gotham.

I personally love Batman but I do agree that the comics and movies go for these try-hard edgy things a lot and also do dumb s*** like oh Batman can One V one dark side because Batman. I like him more as like a detective then as a o I have no powers so I'm better than every other hero BS

Why bother hating anything?

Pretty much my transition. It seems that after Grant Morrison basically gave DC permission to make Bat God an unironic thing, Batman books have been progressively worse that rely on his incessant "brooding woe is me" trope to peddle him as still "relatable".

It's because Batman and his Robins have "died" so many times only to have "Lazarus plot device pit" resurrect them. Killing Batman means nothing.

It's Damian

The problem with current Batman comics is the same problem that the Green Lanterns as a franchise suffered after Geoff Johns run. The plots stopped being about Batman helping solve cases or helping people, and became all about villains trying to destroy Batman in different ways (which are all the same). Green Lanterns, as well, stopped being about the Green Lanterns solving cases or helping people, and became about the different Corps trying to destroy each other (and stupid prophesies)

Forgot to mention, it's the villains want to destroy Batman, they form a shadowy group to mind-fuck with Batman, Batman goes crazy and push everyone away, Batman is eventually killed, Batman is temporary replaced, Batman comes back.

Every fucking run.

You made it sound like some cheesy harem story lel

Attached: screw batman.png (180x266, 85K)

this. DC can't do anything without shoving either Batman or Harley into everything

>Batman's cool. OP is obviously one of his villains. ITT we figure out who OP really is.
it is Jason.

Bane?

SUPERMAN'S NOT A BAD GUY!

>Then a guy named Tim Burton made a little movie called Batman and in just a few weeks everyone loved comic books.
No, this never happened. People liked Batman, not comic books.

It's the Condiment King looking for validation.

why is she crying?

Fuck Batman

Found OP

Attached: jack.png (1088x485, 222K)

Deep down she knows she's a dogshit character propped up by retarded waifufags.

Poor writing of her character.

Yes.

The cancer is really bad, now.

There's not much left but cancer.

>Bob Harass comic

I like it when the Robins and Batman actually interact like a family on a wholesome level.

That's most likely

Because DC is Detective Comics and Batman is the Detective.

Can't keep a good bat down

There's nothing wrong with Batman when he's done well, the issue is that he's completely overloaded the DC lineup. Looking at the current lineup, 17/67 titles, or about 1/4th of everything they release, includes either Batman or someone in his immediate circle (Robin, Harley, etc). That's ignoring the cartoons and live action and toys and everything else.

She got some redemption in Nightwing.

By that logic Marvel should be formatting their universe completely around Captain Marvel (I mean yeah they're doing it NOW but this shit with Batman precedes this)

sounds good to me

Attached: carol.gif (500x630, 1.95M)

Alfred and Commissioner Gordon are the best batman characters and when stuff happens to them, it's almost always good.

Why doesn't Batman cripple his villains and keep them in his batcave where they will never get out?

this was an unpleasant reminder of that scarecrow fanfiction

Attached: 1549157100527.jpg (432x432, 32K)

what happens in that?

scarecrow goes to the batrape dungeon or something like that
