>Subversive
>Actually the most predictable film I'd ever seen in theaters
I seriously knew everything that would happen from the trailers and the first 15 minutes of the movie.
Maybe it would've been subversive if the twist villain hadn't been done 600 times before, and if the twist villain's name wasn't a pun immediately revealed 10 minutes into the film.

No no, see, it's SUBVERSIVE because the woman is doing things and the man is at home XD

I still haven't seen it someone tell me if I hit the mark or not

I hate how "subversive" is now the same thing as "good".

"Elasticgirl gave me a boner, it should win "

SJW's hated it because a woman was the villain, which is impossible in their make-believe D&D setting that they live in.

>Peter Travers
Pete's job is to get Rolling Stone's name onto posters. He was clickbait before clickbait- his opinion on movies is worse than irrelevant.

But spiderverse won, which also had a female villain (which was also better)

Yea, but it starred a latinigger

That overrides everything

dead on

Well it doesn't mean bad either necessarily.

The real problem is that Incredibles 2 wasn't really subversive at all. It was a perfectly OK movie, but not really that notable.

It's subversive because the audience thought they'd be seeing the fucking Incredibles and not just Helen Parr for 90% of the movie.

Spiderverse won because it was the better movie. Incredibles 2 was just alright and Ralph 2 wasn't very good. Spiderverse was actually good

Compared to what it was up against, maybe. A bowl of half-eaten spaghetti-o's would've had a shot against the lineup.

How do people not at least get curious over who said what, when they read some ridiculous shit like that? Even if you didn't already knew about Peter Travers, the name's right there. Twitter got it faster that Yea Forums's getting it right now.

I propose a new hashtag #oscarssosucks. Movie noms this year as a whole we’re more disappointing than usual. And there have been TERRIBLE years

please remember, the voting board of the oscars never actually watches any of the animated films that are up for awards, they generally vote mostly or totally blind.

But the white male was the main villain who forced her to act more evil

Where have you heard this?

I think she was always evil, and only joined him for a paycheck

Great way to out yourself as a racist misogynistic homophobe and worst of all, as someone who may potentially refuse to buy Disney product. Not a good idea if you want to survive the next few years buddy.

Literally the most accurate thing you could have said
