I've always wondered, what was the plan with Hellboy as far as Hell is concerned? Rasputin and the other Ogdru worshippers want him to free the Jahad, but the demons never seem concerned about that. In Hellboy In Hell, they show that army of souls the blacksmith is making. Did the demons intend to use that to conquer the Earth and what, fight off all the Hem? Or were they also trying to free the Jahad and just party down with Earth's ending?

But the overall plan had something to do with those soldiers, yeah. You see max power Hellboy at the end of In Hell, and I guess that, with the army of the damned, and the legions of Hell behind him, were supposed to be enough to suppress the Ogdru Jahad, then use the Hand to control or banish it once again.

She's making shit up and it fits in with the time period. It's good 50s paranoia stuff. Shapechangers, body snatchers, that sort of thing. It's not her fault that she thinks she's in a sci-fi horror story and is so ignorant on history that she doesn't know about the well documented vampire attacks in the US and UK, the various secret societies that summoned demons, the Ogdru possessed apes that rampaged through London and Paris, the pre-human war machines that rampaged through NYC...
It IS her fault that Trevor literally just told her that magic is real and that a dude used it to summon a demon near the end of the war.

If nothing else, they were damned close to a gathering site for witches and vampires without ever being harmed.
