Why does superman need to be white?

He's been white since the time of his creation. That's about 70 years. Why are people so opposed to him being white?

He can anything I guess. Personally, I’d love to see Michael B Jordan as Superman. Not sure if Dwayne could do it though

And what new and deep perspective will it show if he isn't white?

Why is Michael B Jurodan being suggested and rumoured as a new Superman actor so often?
Fantastic Four was a total failure, I can't see him doing the same thing again with a character people actually care about.

That even black people can be superman. That skin color is not a barrier to our capabilities.

Superman can't be white because he's an alien
Checkmate.

There are already multiple worlds where he's not white, and nobody has complained before.

The adventures of Cotton-man

Isn't there already a Chinese superman?

supes is such a mary sue though.
current zeitgeist says he should be black then.

pretty easy to explain to since the nigga gets his power from the sun and melanin is what makes your skin black as a result from exposure to the sun, either personally or on an evolutionary timeline.

nigga should be black so he can absorb more of that sun energy.

Why don't just make black super heroes intead of blackwashing already established non-black super heroes?
What is the point?

a time for change.

Go back to /pol/

Revenge for cultural appropriation.

Superman doesn't have to be white, but Kal-El is white. For all they talk about white privilege, they don't take the time to account for how changing a character's perceived ethnicity would affect their entire life's development. Making Superman black should be as significant a change to the character as making him raised in Russia.

I can see that going very wrong. Part of Superman's backstory is that he's a genetically stronger superhuman who people have feared because of his strength who had to fight other people of his race who were violent criminals.

Not exactly the most PC thing to link to black people.

i wish the "media" wold stop appropriating my culture

Wasn't the author a known troll?

Anyways, I'm fine with the question as long as its applicable to all characters. Does Storm or Blade really need to be played by black actors?

>they don't take the time to account for how changing a character's perceived ethnicity would affect their entire life's development
Read the article.

But it's a Jewish created superhero. Why do whites think they own him?

>Why are people so opposed to him being white?
Because identity politics is everywhere now, and there’s an obsession with taking things from certain groups and giving them to other groups.
The reality of it is that the race (or gender) of a character does matter. I’m strongly against race and gender swapping of any kind, because characters are created the way they are for a reason.
The only exception for race swapping would be if a story’s setting is changed.

Can black people be extraterrestrial aliens too?

Superman's a fucking alien and a fictional character what sort of uberbrainlet gives a fuck what ethnicity he is?
If you want a colored nonbinary woman superhero or whatever the fuck, go make your own comics! That's why bugs me about the SJW diversity chaser sorts. They're never good enough at anything to do it themselves, so they parasitize existing things to change in their image. If they just made their own, I wouldn't mind.

if the "kangs" movement is accurate, their pyramids were spacerafts.

In retrospect, it may be canonical, him being black, after all.

>adopt and enjoy someone else's culture
>appropriation

>avoid or dislike someone else's culture
>racism / xenophopia

>appreciate someone else's culture but avoid engaging in it
>fetishization / patronizing

>claim that everyone else's culture is actually yours and we wuz pharoahs / jews / chinese / vikangs
>perfectly fine

Or, you know, they could use a character that already is the race of the actor they want to use. It's crazy, I know. But Icon is a character that is black. And, I know it's crazy, but why not give that character a chance at being a star instead of going for a cheap hot shot event that'll fizzle out quickly. But if you are actually trying to produce something for the long term to make billions of dollars of years to come instead of few million once, you need to not only bring in current fans but also give new fans a reason to come in. Want black folks to come see your DCMU movies? Maybe use Icon, Rocket, Static, and other Milestone characters that people actually like. It's crazy. I know.

If Kryponians are white, then Superman is white.
Besides, a negro would just use super powers for evil.

>Kansas couple finds a superpowered black baby
>put him to work on their farm
I imagine there's some negative connotations that might crop up here.

There are canonically black Kryptonians, though.

I wasn't aware Krypton had an unsafe part of town.

Wasn't there a bunch of Supermen?

I only like white and asian guys and white and black girls. Does that make me racist?

Heh, crop up. Good post all around.
Good people of all ethnicity exist, so it's not like it's impossible to have Superman superficially look like any other race and show up anywhere else on the planet.

But, while elseworld stories are cool and all, why not just make your own character if you have such a radically different story to tell? AU Superman stories are about putting Superman's character in a different environment, not about making a new entity to call Superman.

So this """"""""journalist"""""""" in his in depth and exhaustive research of the subject did not learn of the New Adventures of Lois and Clark and of mixed race Superman Dean Cain.

He is the new Idris Elba. He gets suggested everytime someone needs to be black.

Why does black Panther need to be black?

Lets not use the Asian, Black, or Mexican Superman. No, lets turn Clark into a minority, even though he already is a minority considering only... 3/4 Kryptonians exist?

Dean Cain is part Japanese

>Does Storm or Blade really need to be played by black actors?
The thing about classic non-white supes is that their ethnicity is often crucial part of their backstories. Storm is an example. But similarily it wouldn't make sense to make Wolverine into a Japanese ethnic. The question should always be: does it really matter? And sometimes it just does.

Mexican Superman worked really well. It gave a new perspective on the immigrant story.

Being black actually means you absorb less sun energy. Melanin literally block sun rays from entering your body.

>Why is Michael B Jurodan being suggested
Its just IGN trying to shill their Black Superman idea, I haven't seen it anywhere else. Case in point :
Sup IGN shill

Melanin is already inside of your body.

black people can't even NOT be responsible for 50% on the territory of US

I feel this argument is coming from a group of people that didn't give a shit about superheroes, or comics in general, until they started to make serious money.

Wanting Superman to be a minority is basically admitting that real minority heroes cannot succeed, which I think is not only wrong, but also encourages the powers in charge to continue to ignore non-white heroes. After all, why put in the effort into making a Static movie when you can just raceswap Perry White and call it a day?

Attached: samurai.jpg (295x200, 7K)

He's supposed to be heroic and white people can't be heroic.

>as making him raised in Russia
literally nothing will change.
Even better, Superman will never have a history of supporting deep state neocon shills like original does.

Attached: Bane.jpg (500x423, 69K)

Personally, I'm fine with replacing any character with Cowboy Curtis.

fuck off goy

Putin, please go.

Attached: That Which Comes After Baits first.jpg (1540x820, 281K)

Mods where can I go on the internet that's a more believable simulation of forum?

because they want to have him be black or some other minority so they can feel better about themselves because they attribute retroactively the characters feats of power and cultural impact to themselves.

I am not putin. But whatever keeps you from being suicidal (because suicide is not good, seriously).

Attached: dolboeb maloletni'.png (433x273, 218K)

Superman needs to be humanoid?

Because the main ones who bring up the idea don't know those worlds exist, or solely thinking making the idea work for the movies. And neither really care to put as much effort into it as Gods and Monsters did.

No, no, no. That's Super-Man. C'mon, get your facts together.

>But whatever
*delusion

fixed

Attached: 15181771573501.png (1200x1500, 622K)

Yea, ideally Superman/Kal-El/Clark Kent has to be white in the same way his costume has to be blue with a red cape... its how his design and look was conceived.
I also dont think Amy Adams was good choice for Lois Lane, cause design-wise Lois has dark/black hair not strawberry-blonde.

If they want to do a black Superman, use Calvin Ellis or Val-Zod, dont name him Clark Kent.

it was an island full of black people

I think your people are killing themselves a quite high rate, Volodya.

Because Mexican Superman, Black Superman and Asian Superman are already separate characters. If you want movies about them, we can throw in fucking Val'Zod but this retarded shit like "let's take a character from the House of El, who are established as being from the white-lookalike Kryptonians, and make him black for no fucking reason!".

He draws his power from the sun, whiter skin absorbs the rays easier.

I am not "Volodya", that's not really my name. Missed again.

>these are not my troops in Ukraine
>these are not my mercenaries in Syria
>this is not me shitposting on Yea Forums
Predictable.

I don't think HE necessarily needs to be white, but he needs to have been raised by the Kents on their farm in Smallville, Kansas. So they need to be white.

He has to be "white" with BLUE EYES AND CURLY BLACK HAIR, features white males usually have, because 70 years with hundreds of artists, inkers, writers, etc have decided it that. Why say they're all wrong for modern political points? Honestly, Krypton doesn't have an Africa. Never did, never needed too. There wasn't any need for any other gene representation beyond what was originally given. Something similar to the white humans he was adopted by.

They're doing this just to stir the political pot. I have no respect for Jordan if he pushes this further. I don't want artists to suddenly have to change Superman to make him look like Jordan. You know Lois would stay white because they have an interracial bend, always.

Attached: 1396833397813.jpg (407x364, 15K)

Superman has been black like 20 times. The president of the multiverse is a black superman and the earth 2 superman was black. We also have a chinese superman in rexent memory and Steel was a black superman before it was cool.

Fucking idiots need to read comics.

Black people need to get the fuck over their low self esteem issues and stop trying to change everything that's popular or winning or looked greatly upon to a literal image of themselves, while they claim to be individuals judged on their own character content.

Seriously a whole race needs to get the fuck over itself.

Attached: supermanelitequote.jpg (640x960, 58K)

white characters are racist

There’s an entire island in Krypton full of black people.

Yeah but they're not talking about Val-Zod, they're talking baseline Clark Kent. Not the Vertigo one either. If they made a Multiversity adaption, that's fine. But they just "Superman" to be "black." Whatever the most popular fore-fronting version is.

Yeah but that's still not Africa, that's Retconia.

Because Clark Kent was born on a farm in Kansas. Not exactly the black experience. And probably take away a good hero for farm kids to look up to. Every hero would then be from New York or whatever fictional ghetto.

This too, New Superman is fine, don't cast some asian dude as Clark Kent. Hell don't even cast a blonde or red head dude as Clark, he's got a very specific, defined look.

"mexican" isn't a race. He was still white. and a big fan of the latin Spanish dub of dragon ball. The best dub in the world

Right. They're just grafting their politics on success. It's propoganda.

>these are not my mercenaries in Syria
when did he even said that?
ISIS is no longer a threat, thanks to Russian army actions.
And as time goes more and more people admit that "evil Hitler Assad" didn't gas people at all
here are proofs from LIBTARD MEDIA THAT PREVIOUSLY SHILLED FOR THE DRONE STRIKES newsweek.com/now-mattis-admits-there-was-no-evidence-assad-using-poison-gas-his-people-801542

And here is testimony of BBCuck sputniknews.com/middleeast/201902141072399864-syria-douma-gas-attack-vicitms-footage-hoax/

Seems perfectly in line to me with "evil Luthor defames Superman and then getting caught redhanded only to get away in the end because justice system (i.e. deep state) works for him or everyone just stupid and he slips scenario and Superman doesn't have wits to end his existence once and for all" scenario that was in comics for ages.

Yes, a little lie, like with Crimea, is used. Just like Supes uses Secret Identity.

AND just like in comics, Superman isn't perfect either, but definitely/more (but that's really on beholder) better than Luthor

Attached: 64e.jpg (1146x1148, 89K)

Ironically 'cultural appropriation' is often a topic that permits ridicule of white people. But no problem doing it themselves.

See Black Panther.

As for works, sure it could be done. But why half ass it and not just go all in with the President Superman Earth?

why do established white male characters need get their gender or skin color changed in todays society in the name of "diverstiy"?
why not make movie about the hundreds and hundreds of already established none white male characters or create new none white male characters instead?
why do liberals insist on destroying and changing things that white men like instead of creating something new for new audiences?

"white priveledge". Clark grew up on a farm in Kansas. He has less privilege a good portion of minorities along the coasts and the cities.

I thought the pyramids were triangular, not canonical.

This is stupid. You already have black supermen, some of them with great stories. Hell, Steel has his own legacy characters one of which is a black woman. Why fuck around with clark?

It'd make sense for Superman to be either latino or Asian. Latino is very obvious for the immigration theme and Superman being conceived as the poster boy of the jewish assimilitation. Asian work too because China is the new top dog and the far East is the most technologically advanced place on Earth, like a peak to the future. Also Fleischer Superman looks like Chow Yun Fat. The Kents could pretend they adopted an abandoned latino baby or a Chinese baby, that sound like something devoted Christians do. I don't see any good reason why Superman should be black beyond a very desperate publicity stunt. It doesn't add anything thematically.

Attached: superman-fleischer-ff.jpg (433x178, 26K)

The actor doesn't need to be, but the character should be portrayed as such for the sake of accuracy.

Making Supes black automatically shifts his original narrative of "immigrants" to "muh racism". So it doesn't bring out the same message.

Why would Superman need melanin lol

They should change it so he didn't grow up on a farm in Kansas.

And make him just like every other hero (from New York/cities)? Yeah...that's sooooooo new.

Superman is a Jewish inspired hero. That's very anti-Semitic of you to want to change him Goy.

Racebending big etablished heroes/villains is always shit.
Why isn't Luke Cage, Steel or Black Lightning white?
Don't get me wrong I like alternative versions in paralel universes or some legacy characters can also be good ... I mean he is not even a legacy character but Kenan Kong is fucking great but don't change the ethnicity of the original.

At least it gets rid of his racist background.

superman was created by jews.
changing his race is antisemitism

Superman's story is that of the immigrant. At that time, the immigrant was the middle and eastern european. It was jews, Polish, etc. People with their own heritage, their own culture, their own language. That's why he was white, as a reflection of the time. When people looked at Superman, they didn't see someone blonde and aryan, they saw the face of a 'new American'. But those times are changed. The story remain the same, but the faces carrying that same story are no longer white with black hair, but their skins are coloured. If you want to do the story of Superman justice, you need to reflect that.

Why do people need to not be white in countries that are mostly white?

That's why it's better latino, with Asian as a second option

Why making Superman/Clark Kent black when you can just introduce Val Zod or someone similar in the main continuity. There are enough ways to do it with the bottled city of Kandor or a neighboor planet like the plave where Supergirl from the DCEU was from.
Man if they really reboot the DCU again than make Lois Lane black like in All Star Superman so that their son can be black... I don't care.

Nobody is asking to racebend Scandinavian heroes.

like Miles?

Black Americans are not immigrants.

but what about his el hermano?

I didn't say all of them.

I got you homie!

#MAGA

Attached: DC-10.jpg (2400x2967, 1.03M)

Dump Lois on the wayside and have Amanda Waller's hot niece who is a donut steel government agent become Black Superman's paramour instead

>Lois Lane black like in All Star Superman
But she wasn't black, she was your typical amerimutt.

People always say this shit but superman was sent too earth as an orphan baby and never experienced even the slightest exposure too kryptonian life. He grew up as an earthling American. His experience is not representative of any immigrant and his life carries no aspect of dual culture.

why not Amanda herself?
If Superman is black he will prefer original THICC rude queen, with ultra fat ass that can make huge braps (that Black Superman can pinpoint sniff from anywhere in the galaxy) and nasty persona.

7 seconds to find the "Superman absorbs solar energy so ackchually he should be black" nonsense. Black skin is the result of the body trying to block sunlight, which would severely weaken Superman.

We already have enough Supermen who are from different cultures and races.
>Mexican Superman who is the son of General Zod from JL: Gods and Monsters
>Black Superman who is the President of the USA
>Black Superman eho was the boyfriend of Powergirl
>Chinese Superman who is just based as fuck
Man if you want the slavery story with Superman than you have Icon who even was a black slave for some time when he landed on earth.
They just need to push these characters a little bit more if they really want a Superman with a different race.

For the same reason it's been the same for 70 years. It's iconic and what people most enjoy. Superman is a character with a defined set of morals and ideals, and as is often the case with such characters his visual presentation is a reminder of those things. Visual design becomes so engrained in characters that even their silhouettes will remind of who they are and who they stand for. You can't take away Batman's bat ears and still pretend that image still defines the character we know, just as you couldn't make Blade white and pretend it's the mainline blade we are all familiar with. We've had alt racial versions of supes before, and they all end up being their own characters different beyind skin colour in some way to mainline supes because (especially in this political climate) it's hard to visually change a character without it being some sort of statement.

The character of Superman is defined and monolithic. We are reminded of the individual perceptions we have of the character when we see his iconic image. We can't overtly change that without overtly changing the character. This isn't a problem, and it doesn't mean we can't have other characters that represents what supes does.

>But those times are changed
no they didn't, especially not since Soviet Union ceased (just like Krypton, another synchronicity parallel for ya).
There is way more representation of Latinos, Asians and Black than of Slavs.

>His experience is not representative of any immigrant
That's not really true towards Silver Age Earth 1 Superman who would throw "Great Rao!" every now and then like some typical kind of kid-assimilant poser that recently discovered his heritage and tying really hard to preserve it.

Attached: JezAck.png (509x2039, 989K)

>hey you know how people often identify characters based on their appearance?
>fuck that we should make them look like whatever we want

There can totally be a black kryptonian, they canonically exist, he can even be Superman. He can't be Kal El.

We have literally a multiverse of alt supermen of various races.
I for one wouldnt be opposed to a New Superman cartoon.

Why are you describing women but talking about black people?

>Looks at MCU's Heimdall

yeah...okay....

Oh the icing on the cake when they make an illegal-alien Mexican Superman.

A late lazy attempt to recycle garbage

That's not what the article is wanting. They are specific about Clark Kent Superman being black. I wholly agree with Val Zod. Making him Superman is perfectly fine. But that's not the argument this article is making. They want to ultimately strip everything about Clark Kent's identity away for the sake of diversity.

This one looks great

Attached: newsuperman03.jpg (640x360, 87K)

Nah, this time around it's CBR doing the clickbaiting. The same CBR with articles like this.

archive.is/hmqIN

The most-liked Facebook comment to that article was around the lines of "It's time for CBR to end". Tough crowd they got there.

You know blackwashing characters is really just devaluing what these advocates claim they want and ultimately making them look foolish, and in some cases racist themselves. Oh look, they need a white character that's popular to piggyback off of to make said black representation feel valid. And look at Kenan here great character, and isn't trying to replace Clark either.

Fuck they already have a black Superman, the one from that alt Earth. Then there's Steel, who honestly doesn't get enough love.

Attached: Steel.jpg (500x700, 55K)

Superman literally fought the KKK dumbass.

>the rock as superman
littykino when?

Even the fans say it, Superman is boring and uninteresting as he is right now. They have been making that complaint for at least 20 years. It is time to make a change

>Fuck they already have a black Superman, the one from that alt Earth.

They have three! Calvin Ellis (whom MBJ actually says he'd rather play as), Val-Zod, and Sunshine Superman.

Latino Superman you have Hernan from JLA Gods and Monsters.

Introducing new heroes doesn't work. If your character wasn't introduced in a comic in the 80's or early-mid 90's at the latest, chances are it failed.

Why else do you think the past decade was about replacing legacy characters? They can't introduce new black, female, asian or latino characters and expect them to succeed based on their own worth. Hell, they could even try that with white characters and they would also fail.
They need to ride the coat tails of existing, accepted characters by their readership. Thor, Spider-Man, Nova, Captain America, Hulk, etc. People will keep buying books with those names, but will not even consider paying for a book with some no name hero an exec is trying to shill. So it's either wearing the skin of a beloved hero, or show up in an team up book as a side character writers will not know what to do with.

What about El Dorado?

>Introducing new heroes doesn't work
It does, you dunce. You can't just do it like in the past. The key to introducing new characters now in comics is by showcasing them in cartoons and movies. The larger audience reacts, and then they're integrated in comics.

Also, we all know that even if they cast MBJ to be Superman the clickbait shills won't even talk about the movie on account it's a WB movie. Or they'll talk about and then pretend whatever Disney/Marvel's doing is so innovative.

Attached: 1545643089791.jpg (1079x1177, 400K)

The DC multiverse has a "League of Supermen" or whatever it's called. Make a movie out of that.

white privilege isn't about being born richer than others

>and then they're integrated in comics.
And do those comics sell? Have Iron Man comics started selling Spider-Man or Batman numbers after RDJ made the character an A lister? No, of course it didn't. The comic market is completely separate from the non enthusiast movie and cartoon market.

Because the movie where he was black bombed worse than any other superman film.

"Superman" no.
Clark Kent, yes.

Steel was kind of a black Superman.

White or not, he's still a full-blooded kryptonian. Changing his skin color won't make him any more relatable to minorities unless they they have his pod land in downtown Atlanta, at which point we've gone full alternate universe where batman is probably Barack Obama and Biden ends up as the joker after one of his famous pranks goes too far.

Black people CAN'T be Superman. White people can't be Superman either.

They were brought over on space boats.

He is certainly not black and east asian

Superman needs to be white because otherwise you get a Zack Snyder version where the public treats him with suspicion and fear.

unlike other capes that besides the costumes are disposable for the sake of whatever next generation of zoomers want from the comic, there's only one Clark Kent

Superman has been black before
>inb4 thats not Superman!
I know faggots I'm talking about Calvin but Steel also needs a good movie.

Attached: f01ac7a56a1ec5dae93d3a93e3c09b6a.jpg (477x750, 159K)

Buddy you came to the wrong place to say that. Everyone here’s an asshole

I don't know if he counts, because if we count him then we have to count Billy Batson and all the other variants.

Who is Mr. Terrific?

Steel IS a black Superman in my book, and I mean that as a compliment. He worked with what he had, stepped up, and tried to fill BIG shoes during Clark's absence. Also fat chance of another solo movie with him thanks to Shaq

Someone that user you're responding to wouldn't know about because he doesn't read comics.

The point of superman isn't about his powers. Its about how to be a good person. Superman is more of the symbol of good deeds then eye lasers, no matter the skin color.

>That even black people can be superman
What?

Why does he have to look human?

The consensus is in favor of John Henry Irons. The basketball playing, weapons making, Steel. He does deserve more adaption love. He'd be great in some video games too! Bring Shaq back too!

Attached: steeljohnhenryirons.jpg (263x192, 26K)

Shit saved the ant version.

Attached: steeljohnhenryirons2.jpg (694x506, 277K)

Normies don´t know there´s a fuckllion versions of Superman. Maybe 10 of then are white men.

Fucking this. No one knows about composite Superman

Attached: Compo.png (761x1049, 701K)

Do you think Bruce goes to sleep and remembers that this exists?

>Cotton-El

How does the cowl stay on

>1. super man is an alien
>2. clark kent should always be a white skin alien

I mean why isn't he green? Or gold? Hell, why isn't he secretly a lizardman? The illuminati could use some more representation, they never get to be in comics anymore.

>Make character race X
>Dude, what if he was race Y, lmao
I fucking hate this trend.

Here's an idea:
>superman still white
>kents are black farmers in midwest
>face racism and xenophobia surrounded by rednecks
>still gets raised to be a better person
PC points AND tradition is kept

Then why can't you make a new superhero?

Attached: 1543523430455.png (332x332, 148K)

Through sheer anger
It keeps him up at night, Alfred had to give him special pills

dude, that has been the fucking thing EVERYONE has fucking said since like, the 60s

MAKE YOUR OWN SHIT, STOP TRYING TO CHANGE OURS.

or, take that obama superman, make HIM your fucking BLACK SUPERMAN because he ALREADY EXISTS!

fuck!

Man, I just want new superheros in general. I want to see cool new concepts for superheroes and I don't care what race they are, I just want cool shit.

Like, anyone see that movie Sleight? I liked it but it wasn't what the trailer made it out to be. I was like "Oh, hey, a kid who can do parlor magic has REAL magic he's been holding back on but they push him too far so he goes all in on it, fucking cool". But it's actually some kind of electromagnet thing he's got implanted into his arms. Again, still cool, but probably not sustainable for more than that one movie.

>That answer
Owned.

I dunno if we can count Steel then, Steel never called himself Superman, it was always "Superman saved my life, so I'm going honour his membory by being awesome and helping people like him".
Which shows us just how full of shit Luthor is, but that's another matter.

Im fine with a whatever superman as long as he was raised in rural kansas by an old white couple. The asian in OP looks good as superman i think.

superman doesn't need to be white, but clark kent does.

If you want to make another race superman, change the story around it, like they did with based Hernan Guerra.

I feel you would lose some of the meaning behind supes, because yeah sure he is white but he is also one of the smallest minority possible in the planet since he is actually an alien and sure people may not see it but supes has felt it, but by making Clark visually part of a minority you miss that subtlety, that he already knows what it is to be a foreigner, a stranger that got used to different land and became so ingrained to it that now he basically represents its morals and values.
My point is not that you can't make Supes a minority, my point is that you don't really need to, he already can be a symbol for the oppressed and marginalized.

Attached: t8Tb2Vr.jpg (490x762, 75K)

This. There are tons of great black superheroes but nobody uses them.

You people know that Dean Cain is Asian, right?

Because it's not about black characters. It's about appropriating the popularity of the most famous cape in the world.

It's the same with Miles. He may be a different character but he's leeching off the name and fame of Peter.

I understand the reason they do the legacy characters and "family" shit in comics because a lot of you autists won't try new things unless it's familiar enough, but I still hate it so goddamn much.

Sexiest Superman ever. Already has been done.

They can try it but no one is going to read/watch blackwashed characters no matter how much they push it.

>3/4 white, 1/4 Japanese

LOL HE ASIAN. Besides we don't talk about him he's one of those guys.

Steel is pretty rad, unfortunately Shaq ruined all chances of people wanting to see him on screen again.

Why must Clark Kent be of color? Why not use any of the other colored Supermen?

When did I say anything about riches?
