i like it, even the plot/story heavy new stuff. however, while i still like it like i said, ill agree its a bit jarring when you realize the comic somehow got to the point where three young adults are getting ready to murder three kids in broad daylight, monster world or no. the shift actually happened well enough its not jarring and doesn't feel wrong necessarily to be at that point, but once you blink a bit and look at where it came from and where it is now, its a pretty harsh shift in tone, and i can see why alot might not like it.
