Greg Weisman is a supreme autist that developed a super detailed timeline/backstory/set of rules for how his alternate DC universe operates, and he can't resist stepping outside of the sidekick drama to peak in on what the rest of his world is up to.

The whole point of the teen titans cartoon (and the NTT comic) was to have a young team of heroes that acted independently from the older cast, so bringing the older heroes could have undermined the point.

You can´t have both. Him not becoming like bruce is a major point of his character and you´d have to be a DC executive to not see that.

Out of all candidates for that role, the one I see that better fits in would be Terry McGinnis from batman beyond (being raised specifically for that role) followed by Damian and then Tim, in that order.

It's still lukewarm even with the connections. You get cameos but the for the most part the focus is on the teens breaking condoms and having saturday afternoon specials.
