The problem isn't that it humanizes Darkseid, the problem is that it drags him down by making him a rapist.

It just feels petty considering how big he is, and it's far from the kind of character he is. Yeah he does other petty things, but in those cases it as either as a joke or to assert power over characters who tried to fight him. Granny is one of his most loyal followers and he has no need to make her submit. The whole thing just feels out of character and wrong. It's like having a comic about the Anti-monitor shoplifting.
