I cried at the end.
This is the best animated film series since Toy Story.

Is it basically that episode when Butterfree leaves?
All the dragons go away, their existence turn into the worlds myths and legends and the end shows Hiccup and Astrid with their kids as they come across Toothless and the Light Fury and their children and they fly around like old times.
>crying at the end of pg13 garbage
and they say it's not brain poison
I feel like this film was filler til the end.
Like, not a whole lot happens before then.
>>PG13
It's...it's PG....
That's because you're not employing ideological critique. Movies are way more interesting when you do.
It's okay user. I teared up a bit when Judy was under the bridge.
>This is the best animated film series since Toy Story.
Don't know if it's the best, but it sure is one of the most consistent series, even if you include the tv series.
Giving Nick a blowjob.
It had some pacing issues and it felt like it was written like a 2 hours long film, but they definitely did their best to fit in all they could. The emotional component of it was excellent so I can forgive everything else.
I pity those who didn't grow up with these movies. It won't be the same watching all 3 in one day for the first time. I still can't believe how each movie's mood resonated so well with current periods of my life. The first one that came out during my early uni years will always remain a symbol of the best period of my life.
I hated it the plot was even more retarded than the second one and their secret world was dumb and their flying costumes were dumb and the flaming sword was dumb and the pacing sucked.
Grimmel had potential but felt wasted.
This franchise is starting to drag on.
Fucking millennials...
Alright folks, be honest and place your bets. Who would win in a fight?
Team A:
>a guy with a crossbow
>four mid-size dragons
>a hundred wooden ships
Team B:
>a few thousand vikings riding
>hundreds of fire-breathing dragons of all shapes and size
It's very good made, but I hoped for a little bit darker epilogue, like in the book series. When Hiccup was going to meet his dragons for the very last time.
Did it give the same intimacy and build up as the first movie?
I'm referring to Hiccup handling a rabid Pikachu/Batman/wild animal that could kill him at any time, but through the miracle of Stockholm Syndrome, Hiccup manages to become Dragon Stitch's new lover, sorry buddy.
Says the dickface who watches too much violence and gore.
>implying toy story was good or even neutral
It was mediocre sadly, I wanted more porn and a general to invest some time in.
rank them
Lucky you, this is the end of it, barring it making a ton of money and them changing their minds.
1>2
1 > 3 > 2
I feel like they tacked on the epilogue, or at least the part of it with Toothless, as a way of leaving that door open, should the movie do extremely well or if the executives decide they need more money.
At this point, the most they could do is a prequel.
I thought it was incredibly bad. Holy shit that score didn't help.
millenials are 24 at their youngest now, user
Team A
Remember when Hiccup fought the Dragon Queen who commanded thousands of dragons?
If Hiccup wasn't such an idiot, and I guess if his house wasn't soundproofed they could have ended the film like half way through if they just fucking used all of the fucking dragons
The original score was so much better and they've had more than enough time to try to make something even more amazing
How To Train Your Dragon Babies would be so bad but I would watch it just in case there's Astrid Cheesecake
I really liked it.
Probably will be the last good DreamWorks movie for a long time.
Why are there ninjas?
And why does their queen have nipponese steel?
I had a lot of problems with this movie
namely that the end makes no sense- considering that they...ykno, won against the most dangerous hunter and 4 different warlords. Them saying people are still a threat after that feels a bit cheap.
really didnt see why the dragons left other than toothless' girlfriend wanted some fuck and didnt want to live with them
But that said, I still enjoyed it, I still cried at the end too, and I appreciated them leaving it more open ended
I choose to believe hiccup went back after so many years because they were ready for the dragons to come back, hence them flying away from the hidden world and even having stormfly with them
What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
>tfw I was more hyped for the new soundtrack than the movie itself
>It's the worst in the series
What a fucking bummer, Powell dropped the ball hard.

There's some small gems in there, like this one, but nothing near the level of quality of the first two movies.
>There's some small gems in there, like this one
Because Jonsi.
Would be better if he did the whole score by himself.
The epilogue was fine, but it went on for a bit too long. It should've cut to black when Toothless nudged his face into the palms of the kids, to mirror Hiccup's first contact with him and would've been a great final shot to end the series: the hope for reconnecting with dragons instilled into the next generation. The whole flying segment after was too much.
